- Hi guys in this one I am tight to make a video and I am going away.
I have a couple bottlebrush trees that have to be worked but I have no time.
Let's walk through the reasons hacking it back quick and doing something can be better than doing nothing.
Marcelas advice
Enjoy

I have to admit, when I see that you have posted, it brings a smile to me. I'm getting pretty used to your accent by now.
Great attitude Sam. Something we can all learn from. You’re a blessing!
I hope you have a really good holiday 🙂. I just got back from two weeks away. Everything in my garden has changed so much. There are flowers, and new green leaves, everywhere. I think I will need to follow your advice and do some quick cutting to catch up. My trip wasn't a holiday, and i was stuck indoors... which turned out to be absolutely perfect because of all that horrendous wind. Hoping the weather improves for you, or that you are going far enough away that you find some better weather.
Great video Sam! You did a heck of a job there. Can’t wait to see how these bounce back! Have fun camping!🤠🍻
No mucking about , straight into it. Good stuff Sam well done.
Cheers
Trees get a buzz cut! Naked. Good points. Need to get it done!
awesome! always enjoy watching the chill approaches :)
Great vid! It is pretty annoying doing these things for YT, I saw that apple. Nightmare man. So much time with it too. Glad you saved it and filmed the cut off. Great vids of your land too. Wow! Living the dream mate! 😮
I wouldn't mind a video on pruning the roots of Australian natives.
In reality, none of what was cut off was wasted, as it contributed to the developing trunk, branches and even root spread. Sometimes, letting our trees (in development) have a break is the beast thing all round!
Good to see that the "tractor collection technique" is successful, too! Another case of "Doing nothing is the worst thing" because here is a tree that would otherwise have been firewood.
Very true. Saved it from a burn pile 😃😃
Great video Sam happy to see u back mate.
Beaut video Sam, much appreciated
Nice pruning tutorial. That second tree has a trunk and a half.
👍👌🙂
Nice one Sam! Spring has suddenly hit here ( not that we really had a winter ) but everything has burst into bud. Can I still prune deciduous trees like oak and beech without doing them any harm?
winter isn't over yet Sambo me old matey....pissin rain ,blowin its ring out and cold as an eskimos left nut in Perth today
Ha ha dry as a nuns here
Sometime ago you used a spray for weeds in your pots that would not harm the tree could some tell me what that spray was thanks
From your experience do you think using cut paste on major cuts would help healing or is it negligible?
If it makes you feel better use it. I have done both with no sode effects of not doing it 🤷♂️
You make so much sense. Or do i understand you more because you talk the Aussie lingo that as an ozzie it makes it easy to get it. 👍🇦🇺🦘
😉🤯
