Awesome footage!! My favs were the Jellyfish around 3:02 and the Octopus entering the buoy.
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it! The Jellyfish was super cool up-close and Octo going into the buoy seems to be everyone's favorite!
Congratz on 1,000 subscribers, Carl! You beat me XD
Thank you!!!
230 cold water dives in a Single year.! Wow!
They can really stack up when you're in the water a few times per week, sometimes doing multiple dives in a day.
Amazing video! Loved the intro!
Thank you Max!
Stunning - thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you!
Love it!! Also that diver with the white fins seems like a cool dude! 😅
He is a cool dude, damn good diver too and easy to film! lol!
Great Video - Good to see some of my back yard (Campbell River) in the video
Thank you, I love diving Campbell River! I mean, when I am not doing somersaults in the current, lol....
Bro! Ridiculous! Top to bottom! Inspirational! You're gonna explode with new viewers in this New Year!
Thank you so much! Maybe this year will be my year! I'm certainly putting the work in, but I guess this stuff just isn't that exciting to most people! If this doesn't work I'll fall back on making cat videos.
@@scubabc6701 Bahahaha! People love this but everyone is stingy on the likes. This is your year! Please don't resort to cat videos! Your camera system is so incredible it would probably be crazy good cat pictures!
Wow that was very cool to watch ! I’m in Brentwood bay and would love to try scuba diving 🤿 on this beautiful island
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. There is some good diving down there on the Peninsula. I would reach out to Frank White's, Wilson's Diving, or Rockfish Divers and inquire about either discover scuba or the actual open water course. No time like now while the visibility is excellent.
Woow great shots!
Thank you very much!
Loved watching thanks Carl
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Video!!!!!
Thank you very much!
How cold is it? Does one need dry gloves?
It's about 8 degrees Celsius year-round give or take a degree. Yes, dry gloves are a good idea, but there are quite a few people who dive here in wetsuits and wet gloves, and a few who dive with no gloves! Most wetsuit divers I see are only doing one dive on a dive day, some die-hards will do two.
Soooooo good!!
Thank Y.....Hey... wait a minute... lol.
I might steel your intro style with text, but with a constant faded background like how it comes in at 0:22
haha! Go right ahead. Octopus footage! Sorry I got distracted, I'll make a Google drive and send over the link for you.
@scubabc6701 No worries. I already published the baby octopus video.
@ Doh, my apologies for not getting it too you sooner!
@scubabc6701 I have 100s of more videos I want to make and now that I'm a UA-cam Partner, I can use cards. I used some of your footage of me in an Orcatorch video. I need to get around to linking back to your channel there. I'm doing plumbing and electrical projects today, though.
@@AddAdventures Awesome, I look forward to collaborating with you more in the future!
Any dives off the wreck of the Chadier at the marine park near Sechelt?
I have not personally dove that wreck before, I've heard of it, but have yet to dive on the mainland or sunshine coast.
@scubabc6701 I was a photographer there on the Sunshine Coast when they did the sinking and I took a bunch of photographs of it while it was going down.
I sold one copy of the two that I had to a scuba shop that was by the sea lion Foods near Pemberton Avenue in North vancouver. I don't think the shop is there anymore though
@@weedmanwestvancouverbc9266 Cool, yeah it'd be cool for you to see what it looks like now.
@scubabc6701 my ex-girlfriends younger brother I believe dive, Jamie Malloy

I posted a short video as I located one of the photographs I took of the sinking. It's a great shot, and it shows are trapped in the vessel billowing out with water spray. As I remember it didn't quite go as planned as it was supposed to end up on its hole straight up and down but it rotated a bit and the turret went and fell over as it went into the drink
Goddammit....sigh....
*Starts packing my drysuit and regs*
haha! I'm telling you, this is good diving out here, some dives are 5/10, some are 7/10 and then you have those underwater moments that send a dive into the stratosphere.
