      already happening. renaissance are big on re-releasing some classics with new remixes. pete lazonby's 'sacred cycles' has been retouched by adam beyer for example. bonzai are running are series of re-issues as well these days.

    Wonderful, the TRANCE of the 90s are masterpieces that will last for eternity in the ears of lovers of this style, I grew up with these sounds, they are eternal. I love trance

      Yeah same here! This is exactly what got me into electronic music which I still love to this day. I remember all but one of the songs here although I forgot their titles. Great stuff. I think I want to put on one of those Trance Nation CDs now.

Fax stuff can be played on real high end expensive stereo gear and sounds freakin awesome all over again. Fax stuff has some of the greatest clarity i've ever heard in electronic music and i've been in the thick of it for 35 years.

      Universal Nation - Push is always the best Belgian dance/trance track. Whenever a radio channel does like a best dance top100 of something. It Will ALWAYS be Universal Nation on nr 1

    Wer 1992-1995 im Omen war...der kennt jeden Track. Hach...so schön die Zeit. Freitags beim Sven, und Samstags Dag im Gray oder dann im Omen...eigentlich stehen die alle als Vinyl im Schrank. Irgendwie ist man da Stolz bei T zu arbeiten :)

      Wir hatten am alten Flughafen Riem in München auch unseren spass. Aber der frankfurt sound hat mich sehr geprägt. War die beste zeit. Wobei ich jetzt bei dem video hier das gefühl hab die haben nur eye q cds gespielt.

    I didn't know the titles, but I've recognized every single song after the first two notes. That was the sound of my youth before I was old enough to go to clubs and got hooked to harder techno in Frankfurt.

    So many beautiful tracks there ... on half of them I got instant chills on the very first note, and so many "OMG I know this one, damn how is it called AAAARGH!"
    There was no such trance in any point of time afterwards, and never will be. Thank you for this incredible voyage through time!

    I remember hearing a few seconds of Stella on some dance chart a long time ago - maybe on MTV - literally made my way to the nearest record shop to buy it. Bought both the original R&S and the Remix EP. The original and Moby remixes have been a favourite of mine for decades now!

      i first heard that melody from old Stephan Bodzin's Escape and thanks to that 1998 track i went back and check out the original. instant gratificiation!

      There was a big cheesy remix of that track titled something else, maybe Titanic, that was a bit more eurodancey IIRC. That's probably what you heard as a child, and simply remember the melody.

    I feel that 2020 with covid and everyone home for the most part made people explore the internet and come thru to the Classic/progressive trance genre. Either brought back nostalgia to the people that grew up within that scene or brought a new light to the younger generation. I hope that something major happens in marketing the classics to the masses and we get it back in full swing.

    Watching just makes me think what in the world happened to trance. It used to be so sexy, musical, and emotional. Most importantly, it was very sophisticated.

      in the 90s they made the music with soul. there was not the commercial sellout factor.

      That kicked in even in '99, suddenly they labeled the most boring trash as Trance in large countryside clubs, basically they could only play what the numb audience could still process and would not react with aggression to. So out went any sophistication, any multilayered sound, anything that took you up and down at the creator's will.
