Tried it, but once I fell, I wasn’t able to get back on the board. Between the PFD & my boobies, I was getting stuck. I also probably don’t have enough strength in my arms. I am going to try from the back & using the rope to see.
@@fannygo6673 👏🏼Awesome job getting out there! Getting back on your board takes practice and like you said can be more difficult for females. Plus if you have an inflatable it sits higher off the water than a hard board. Based on your comment I assume you watch this video? ua-cam.com/video/KLzWnols0GA/v-deo.htmlsi=fZr_7L_ORw93rZfD With the rope/strap method you can also tie it to your middle and back handle (if you have one) and use it to grab onto when getting on from the rear of the board. It will help give you more leverage. 🙌🏼 Keep at it, take breaks and don’t get too discouraged. You’ll get there! Let me know how it goes!
I just got myself into a paddle boarding activity as a new adventure, and I am so happy that I found your channel you make me feel very comfortable and very excited to go out there and have si much fun thank you for all Of your videos ❤

So I’m new to paddle boarding. Surfed some and was hoping it would transfer over. And it did. But there are so many other factors involved in padding boarding. So thanks for all your tips. I’m a member of a fb group for SUP. I’ve passed you site on when I hear beginner questions. How do I get back on ect. 🎉
Welcome to paddle boarding 🤙🏼 Thanks for reaching out with the kind comment and passing along my content. 🙏🏼😄 Have a safe and awesome time out on the water!
Bonjour, je suis une femme 1 m 78 pour 58 kg qu'elle longueur largeur et forme de nez de paddle choisir. Pour randonnées sur des grands lacs. Sportive mais jamais fait de paddle. Merci !
Thanks for watching and reaching out! First off, it depends on your budget and ability to transport and store. Check out a blog I did on how to choose a paddle board. paddleadventurer.com/how-to-choose-a-paddleboard/ You'll want to check the weight capacity to ensure it will have enough volume for your needs. Wider boards will be more stable for beginners but will not be as efficient or fast in water. My first board and one I still use a lot today is 11'3 in length and 32" wide and it's a great beginner board with room to grow into the sport. If you're looking to hike to lakes with the board ideally you want a compact inflatable paddle board. I know a few companies make them. I have two from Red Paddle Co and they are a lot lighter and pack down to half the size of my other iSUPs. Of course they are a little more expensive. If you live in Canada or the US I do have a 10% discount on Red boards and products with code "paddleadventurer" Here is the link to one of their compacts alnk.to/cSHN3c3 If you can test some boards about before you commit either from renting, borrowing form friends or from a store/brand demo day. Let me know if you have any other questions and what board you decided to buy!

Woohoo! Welcome to paddle boarding 🤙🏼 Have you watch my video on how to get back on the paddle board (3 different ways)? ua-cam.com/video/KLzWnols0GA/v-deo.htmlsi=6O4Z01A2iacv09VK I like getting on from the side but everyone is different so it's important to practise and see what works best for you and your equipment.
Thanks for watching and reaching out! If you can't swim I'd highly recommend taking a lesson and practicing getting back on your board in water you can stand in. Can you make a “how to flip your paddle board back over”? 😅 I’m struggling. We started taking our dog and I had to have my partner help flip me back over. But I’d like to learn how to do it on my own! 😆
