When Ea-Nasir told me to start writing all of my tablets in some weird language I was unsure at first, but it's good to see someone else using this weird "Dovahtinvaak".
This is highly impressive that you have learned not only the glyphs but the sounds. I have a cuneiform tattoo and it took me hours of research just for a short phrase. And I still have no idea how to pronounce it.
I think what I love about this channel more then other ASMRists is how it almost sounds like unintentional ASMR (Which is a good thing dont worry) and there arent as many cuts and slices in the footage compared to other people. Also your voice is very soothing and not to clicky but not too soft either and in my opinion that is amazing. You also do very interesting things that I find cool. In fact your geography quiz video you made around 5 months ago got me into geograohy and now I love the subject! Overall I think you are one if not my favorite ASMRists! ♥
Thank you so much for super interesting feedback! So happy to hear that you think my content almost sounds like unintentional ASMR. That's a huge compliment, I love unintentional ASMR myself, and I don't want to add too many intentional features to my videos, if not necessary. And I'm so happy to hear that you appreciate my editing. There are actually quite a lot of cuts, but I always try to make them as invisible and seamless as possible, because when there are too obvious cuts in videos that I want to watch for relaxation, it bothers me too. And it's great to hear that you like my topics too. Wow, your comment was such a boost and inspiration. Thanks a lot :D
That’s because one, Dovahzul was inspired by cuneiform language, and two… cuneiform language kinda all looks the same, which is to be expected from one of the oldest written languages on earth.
Not prehistoric, prehistoric would be before the invention of writing or recording. It’s called prehistoric because of precisely that; no writing, language, hardly even paintings, existed to record knowledge that may survive until humans learn of it in the future.
Another great video. By the way, the sound quality you have achieved is really unrivalled now in ASMR. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos to such a high standard.
What I really appreciate from your videos is the amount of information and research they hold. Contrary to most ASMRtists, I learn things from your videos, on very diverse subjects, and it is clear you did a lot of research on the topics beforehand. I don't think I'm going anywhere with this comment, but, thank you for doing this, it really sets you apart from most !
a few days late, I love learning languages and I'm a history nerd, so your account is a blessing. I like your voice and your accent too, and the videos feel more natural than most asmrtists. thanks for existing on UA-cam, lol!
Hey ASMRctica! Hope you get to read this. As someone who’s been watching your vids for years and is also very interested in the history and geography of the the British isles, I think it’d be really cool if you remade the video you did 6 years ago where you drew the map of Great Britain and Ireland in your current, more aesthetic style, such as that of the video drawing the map of New Zealand you made a few months ago!
Hey! Thanks for the suggestion! That's actually something i've been thinking about doing for a long time now. The problem is.. that i find the history of that area almost too inteesting 😅 So I always find myself studying and reading more and more about it (the history for example), and then I end up choosing an easier topic for my next video.. but i'm sure i'll make it one day 😄 I'm very glad to hear that you like geography and history, and that you enjoy my content 😃
delighted to see this, i love all your videos about alphabets and the authentic ways u write them it's very cool and interesting. and incredibly soothing so u have a winning combo right here
