I’ve won Amazon vouchers a couple of times and was emailed…I presume it’s fairly similar for every prize. They’d probably call you too if was a big win. No manual checking required.
Both have jobs in Cardiff, and kids settled in schools. I'm betting it's on the market in 6 months. It seems to be a bit of an Omaze pattern. But I wouldn't mind having that problem.
There's some smallprint about agreeing to reasonable requests for publicity work, but it doesn't spell out in any detail what's reasonable and how much leeway there is for a degree of privacy. Could you be pixelated? Could you be filmed from behind, etc. But let's face it, if you opt for any degree of anonymity the paparazzi will be camping outside the house in a tabloid race to be the first to snap you anyway.

It's just very awkward, you can tell they already know they've won the house but the film crew have to make a spectacle of the event and stage it like they've just been informed. I definitely wouldn't be comfortable with this type of publicity.

Euromillions winners don't "need" £100 million either, so should we cap it at average persons earnings? Random prize draws don't cherry pick winners on the basis of "need". They're all selling dreams of life-changing amounts. They'd barely sell any tickets if the prizes were what the average person already has. Congratulations to the winners. Sour grapes is a lousy diet.
