- Hi everyone, and welcome back to my channel. Today, we're setting our sights on a brand new player in the global pickup truck segment: the 2025 Kia Tasman.

A Bold New Contender.
This truck is designed to directly challenge established players like the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux.
The design emphasizes the Tasman's adventurous spirit with a boxy silhouette. The tall front end features vertical slots, flanked by headlights positioned outwards for maximum width. Black plastic accents adorn the wheel arches, roof rails, and integrated rear bumper steps.
Interior and Powertrain
While interior photos remain under wraps, we can expect a rugged yet functional cabin with trim level-based variations in materials and colors. Powertrain specifics are scarce, but educated guesses point towards a turbodiesel four-cylinder engine. Rear-wheel-drive and part-time four-wheel-drive with a two-speed transfer case are likely drivetrain options.

Kia does not have the ability to compete with Toyota in the field of pickup cars. Strong Japanese companies that have experience in this field, such as Nissan and Mitsubishi, could not compete with them.
