@@HandheldPlayers I planned to. But given the technical problems the game has on release, I probably won’t buy it at all. Publisher Nacon seems to force their Devs to release unfinished products with technical issues, they show they do not care about their customers. I do not support this. Patch in one week my a** :) Thanks for your review though! Saved me 30 bucks. I feel bad for the Devs at @PasstechGames. Shame on @Nacon.
Bought it, played it. Framerate dips quite a bit in heavy fights and the boss fights for sure. Im really hoping this patch on Tuesday is helpful for framerate, but I think im expecting too much.
@ I'll definitely will be doing a new video. Unfortunately, the patch has been delayed until Jan 30th so will take 2 more days until we can see the improved version.
@@HandheldPlayers sad, but will it gonna improve the performance in switch? i hope they make it atleast 60fps dipping to around 40 fps, because 30fps is not enjoyable for this kind of game even if its stable :(
This game looks absolutely brilliant, not to mention it is an actual "looker" meaning the visuals are simply stunning! One very important thing... If the devs can get this running at a steady 60fps after some patchwork, I'll be buying it immediately 100% for sure. If not, I'll just have to wait until I can get a system that can play it at 60fps (the Switch 2, Ally X, Claw 8AI). It seems to me this type of action rpg can't be best enjoyed unless it's running at a steady 60fps. Anything less would make it that much harder to keep up with all the fast paced action.
There will be patch published on Jan 28 that improves performance. I just wanted to get my video out today for release. I’ll do a new video with the patch in Jan 28.
@ thank for the info. Hope it makes a difference, Curse of the Dead Gods was already a pain to play mid to late game. Performance should be top priority for devs of action-oriented genres
Here's the info from the publisher: the current Nintendo Switch build is the base game version, impacting: * Overall performances and framerate, especially during co-op * Crossplatform play is currently unavailable These issues will be patched out upon the release of the Nightmares Unleashed update, which launches on January 28. The game’s performance will be significantly improved after this update, and crossplatform play will then be available.
@@papyrustrousle4339 just remember that a lot of the games being released right now are in anticipation of the Switch2 being able to handle them better.
@@xWereBearx then why not release it alongside the Switch 2? Or on the 28th alongside the patches they mentioned? Market reasons, arguably publishers as well and deadlines, etc. My point is: if you are aware your port is not refined, work on that first. The switch 2 is a different product and a vague excuse for performance issues
Will you be picking up Ravenswatch? Let me know in the comments. And thanks a lot to the publisher for sending us a review copy of the game!

It's finally made it to switch! Can't wait to get it , thx for your time uploading this.
Hope you enjoy it!

The patch should improve performance significantly.
let us know if you can

Thank you for the post !
Thanks for watching!
My dream game has RavensWatch action/combat, with Open World and MMO progression.
Is this available in the eshop? Or physical copy only?
It’s available right now in the eshop. Physical copy will launch in February.
This game is AWESOME, how about metal slug tatics? any news for an update? still lag af
Yes, this game is awesome. And no, haven’t heard from a new patch for Metal Slug Tactics.
There are so many different opinions about this game, i really don't know, but i think it's my cup of tea
I loved playing it although it’s quite challenging.
The music cranks
I tried it, but it has a lot of performance issues, sometimes when there are a lot of enemies the frame drops are more constant
A patch to improve performance should be available this Thursday.
is it local multiplayer or online?
when is the patch?
I've just got informed that the patch unfortunately has been delayed to Jan 30th. So we have to wait 2 more days :-/.

Looks like more than 30 fps which is nice
Getting my copy tontorrow!
Awesome!
How is the online?
Haven’t checked it out yet.

There will be a patch released on Jan 28 that will improve performance. Yet it has to be seen if it will be 60 or stable 30 fps.
I dont mind it being difficult but I think its mainly because it's a multiplayer game.
Yes, it has to played in multiplayer.
Looks like it struggles a bit with performance, especially when many enemies on screen
