Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don't bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It's not where you take things from - it's where you take them to."
Nicely designed and executed cutting station. The steel catch tray edge bumper a clever addition, so you don’t damage your knife scraping food residue. Can you do another “review” tackling wall mounted magnetic knife racks? Like you, my two 18” units have no more space, so I’d like your opinion before buying another.
Good idea. I will put it on my steadily growing to-do list. But frankley, there's not much to review about wall mounted magnetic knife bars. Just pick the type of wood you like and the size you need. The only thing I would advise not to buy are the ones with leather on them. They're too pricy, and the leather might 'stain' your knives.
@@chefknivesenthusiast …there’s probably some with better magnets, maybe thoughts on metal surfaces (yea, or nay?), or maybe even brands that employ synthetic rubber like Asahi cutting board surfaces? That would be fascinating to discover!
@edwardrutledge2765 I would love to see Hasegawa and Asahi Parker make magnetic knife bars in the same manner as their cutting boards! Magnetic knife bars with metal surface? Preferably no, IMO. That's why I said, "Choose your type of wood." By far my favorite surface material for magnetic knife bars.
@@chefknivesenthusiast …in the spirit of full disclosure., my first Amazon magnetic bar purchase had metal facing. It was reviewed favorably, but probably more by modern design aficionados than chef knife enthusiasts. I won’t buy metal again. I would totally watch/listen to you do prep work for your job while I do prep work for my job. It's essentially cooking ASMR. ASMR cooking prep stream in the future?
Perhaps. II could do a live stream while I do my preps for a Catering or Private Chef gig. Or just me cooking for myself at home. I'm thinking about offering paid subscriptions (€2,99 a month) to my youtube channel. So, live streans of me doing preps could be one of the perks only available to my paid subscribers, amongst other things.

Time for your Danish (and Nowegian/Swedish) Lesson: 'Kj" in these languages is pronounced "like" SH. "Skj" makes the same sound. So for his name "Kjær" think of the singer "Cher". Great video. Amazing guy and what talent. Very creative idea with the hotel pans on the rods. Sounds like your microphone was acting up a bit. I blame the kitty.
Aaah, thank you for the Danish pronunciation lessen! I don't know "Kjit" about how to say things in Danish. 😉 My mic was obviously sabotaged by my cat. Will switch back to my wireless mic for next videos.
Do purchase a pop filter for the mic if you don't have one already. And Google how to reduce plosives (words with "p", "k", "t", "g" etc) by speaking in a certain manner, angling the mic and position etc. I'd love some of your... butter. 🙃 Have no real use for anything else, unless you're giving away knives. Maybe when you strike the lottery or something.
Yeah, sorry for the bad audio. 🙏🏾I'm switching back to my wireless mic in my next video. I can't get a good sound out of my new mic set-up. And I like that I can move freely with a wireless mic.
I love this idea. I have seen cutting boards that have small drawers, but the full-size stainless steel containers is a wonderful idea.
Yes, as a pro chef and Event Caterer I have tons of these stainless steel/aluminum containers. So very convenient indeed!
looove it!!
It's good stuff!
Haha ,i'm gonna steal this idea! Gonna be on kitchen island tho.
Nice vid and product👍

Thank you so much for the kind words, and yes. I'm also enjoying this workstation at home on the daily.

Wish they had these in my kitchen it would be super nice having six pans or third pans right beside it.
Maybe if they had plastic boards like standard kitchen ones would be nice
I totally agree!
My dream set-up would be an Asahi Parker (antibacterial rubber) cutting board with six or third pans beside it.
