You are a credit to all referees.....incredibly sharp mind needed and you have it!
Great game once again! Always on the scene quickly to diffuse any situations and decisions explained so there was no confusion from either side.
No one could complain about any of those bookings, Level 4 formality season 🤝
The main man himself! Thank you bro 👊🏽
Couldn’t agree more!
Excellent video and insight with the ref mic (people should share it).
Brilliant performance overall and your cameraman did a top job. 👏🏾
Thank you. He always does a top job!
Good content from you also 👊🏽
@@RefsWorld No worries, I'm glad to hear that 👏🏾
Caution on 94th minute, was correct. You repeatedly told him to take the throw and he delayed too much. But take yourself away from the benches as your putting yourself in the line den with that decision.
On that caution, you worried me a little bit, with people all around you and your head down in your book. Too much chance for something silly to happen, either to you, or in the crowd. Perhaps consider waiting to write until you are clear of all those people.
@daveref Thanks for the advice Dave. I completely agree with you
Amazing Refereeing Bro Referee From Somalia🇸🇴
Thank you 😀
@@RefsWorld your Instagram ?
Quality reffing the only issue was the booking for the guy taking the throw in. He couldn’t do his run up if there was a person blocking him
Thank you mate. That line was blocked all game by benches, camera men etc. I believe he knew what he was doing
@@RefsWorld I understand your view and again it’s only feedback but at that specific moment you can clearly see the organiser blocking the player and stopping him from doing a run up. You can also see him telling the organiser to move out the way, I understand though in the heat of the moment, the timing, the pressure from the away team, all of it made you give him a yellow.
I can see where he’s standing but he only gets in the way when the person taking the throw is gaining yards. If he remained where the throw in should’ve been taken(at the half way line) and I know no one is ever in the right position for a throw in, it doesn’t happen. It becomes an issue when he gains 5 yards. I do appreciate the feedback though 👊🏽
@@RefsWorld respect champ 👊
@@RefsWorldspot on for the caution for delaying , only feedback would be that the thrower gained about 15 yards, and he had an Exocet of a throw so without doubt gains an advantage.
Tough to handle though. Spot on with everything else.
Really enjoyed your performance on the day and watching this back. Top top ref..well done.
Thank you
Also correct card for that foul 👍
Abdi went off
Quality referring the way u controlled that game u should definitely be referring in the pro games also it’s a fresh of breath air seeing referees enjoy the game well done ref I’ve watched the tournament last 2 seasons and I’m a big fan of cardiff.
Thank you Jo, it means a lot. I enjoy refereeing so much! I hear Cardiff are very good! I’ve only just found out about the SBCL and it’s amazing
fantastic ref
Don’t caution players when they are on the floor dude. It looks like your giving a card to no one. Wait until he gets on his feet then issue the caution. But that was a superb performance!
I thought he was going to get up and he just stayed there 😂 but I agree, it doesn’t look good. Thank you
17:20 not sure why you waited for all the teams to get lined and for play to restart to call for half. The LOTG say nothing about ending the half/game when the ball is in play. Could have just saved everyone the time and blown it right after the goal.
Very true. Could’ve saved myself the hassle
No penalty at the beginning even if it did touch his hand AFTER he headed it (deliberate play against himself).
Not sure why you would allow so many people on the sideline
Not even security could stop them
Why wasn’t he booked for diving??
At what time mate?
@@RefsWorld 11.40
@pauljones6951 Thank you! Yeah I definitely should’ve done. I feel like I let MPH counter and forgot about it
@@RefsWorldO.k, love these videos, there isn’t anyone else on UA-cam that lets you show how the game and how to referee it. Definitely need more uploads 👍
@pauljones6951 Thank you mate! Trying to find a way to continue
17:20. Why didn’t you just blow half time straight after the goal?
Stewards needed to deal with the fans and then get back to the other side for the fans on that side. I was being told to wait/abandon the game
Brilliant exposure of amateur football
doesnt it just make you cringe on how the players act...
Always and watching it back makes it worse
@@RefsWorldas a level 4 myself. I feel dissent/ reactions (like in this video) have gotten worse since Covid.
@thecryptorambler7082 it’s constantly getting worse, even with sin bins
Really nice looking performance and you set a good standard throughout. Your communication with the players and technical areas was really effective (as effective as it could have been). Generally good use of advantage, but the one time you apologized for having blown instead of advantage was way at the back. Did you see something there that really looked like a great attack opportunity? Generally, we can feel comfortable giving those fouls in the defensive third, even though they keep the ball. Again, Great job!!
Thank you. At the time it looked like the midfielder had space, but if he lost the ball and they scored straight after there would’ve been complaints.
Big up Hilltop - good ppl there
Very nice team 👍🏽
Castle Vale Stadium is a nice venue reffed there myself. Great video well managed
It’s another great performance. Agree with a few of the feedback comments left for you! But your progression really shows. Great that you assess and analyse your own game and take advice where it’s given.. ultimately it will lead you to become a complete unit in your own style. It’s all about picking up pointers and tips from your peers and adapting your own game! You the man!
Appreciate the feedback mate. Always looking to improve my game and take on all the feedback 👊🏽
Love your videos mate, they really help 🙏
Thank you mate, glad they’re helping
Haervy pareyu you

Thank you for the positive comment. Just on not playing advantage, normally I give a free kick in that area to be safe but on this occasion he had a lot of space to run into
