- Logitech G27 with NRG thin Quick release modified,work with 3 different size steering wheels for different car types .Momo Race 350mm for stock cars or sport cars, Sparco P310 310mm for SUPER GT 500 class or DTM car. Momo Team 280mm for F1 or X2010 or LMP cars.All horn buttons on each wheels are works like as real car.

Great cockpit dude, I've just installed 310mm wheel on my g25 and for some reason games like Shift 2 feel much better... Thumbs up for the quick release mod!
The clutch is the pedal on the left, even in UK or Australian cars. In RHD cars you simply sit on the right and have the shifter on the left, pedal config is the same in all cars worldwide. I think he meant the shifter.
Yeah, replace a different diameter wheel is very nice for different types of car. :)

In long term real racing more expensive than sim dude, change tire, gas, car maintenance etc...another good thing with sim is you can try whole world track, and no need worried to die in accident.
Now all you need is a G-force simulator or something... :P
And me personally, I would put the shifter on the other side :P

That's a great set-up, I wish I could afford it, The only down is it is ps3 and not PC. That's what I miss about going pc. I was a GT3 + 4 junkie. I've never got to play 5 yet. I will probally get a ps4 though so hopefully there'll be a 6 by then aswell?

I think we have the same type connectors, but maybe my "elastic" definition different to your's ha ha.I choose one that little bit smaller then the shift stick, than plug it on as hard as I can. Anyway, In that case, if you choose a connecting tube have a little bit larger diameter then the shift stick,you can increase the thickness of the shift stick by any method you can do.
Oh, trust me getting a simulator isn't even a 10th of what you have to pay if you wreck your car.
"enjoyable" is subjective...Sure..I'd experience some enjoyment driving in a race prepped C6 Corvette..but I can also get as much 'enjoyment' out of my own racing cockpit racing either Forza, GT5..and when my new PC is all together, iRacing/GTR/rFactor...while it's raining outside...which wouldn't be as fun in a real car! ;-)

@wally19 I know ,it's hard to say you are enjoying your PC-simulator with a IBM 101 KEYBOARD...that's why u feel uncomfortable when you saw people using a wheel to play crapy GT5, all is my fault, sorry : ( , next time I will show u another setup to play with R factor 2 after it's release. Good day~
@WhatThePresidentSays It's need 3 X PS3, 3 copies of GT5, a network router ,connect all PS3 to the router( prefer wired connection for better result), then follow the in-game instruction tutorial to setup in the options menu.

I have a Razo shift knob too, but not sure the fitting design is same as yours. Mine come with a several diameter elastic plastic short tubes as a connector between the shifter stick and the shift knob , basically one of these can be install on G27 shifter stick firmly.

what mean "wrong"? GT5 have a over 1000 car come from different country, some form Japan ,some form US and some form EU. So it just meaningless to consider which side to place the shifter .In this setup, sequential at right, H at left. It's doesn't matter.
Do you know how much MORE you'll spend if you had a real car that you raced as a 'hobby?'...engine goes out = $...new tires = $, track fees = $...after a while, that 'hobby' becomes hella expensive!

i see.. well my tube connectors are Black, brown and white.. The largest tube hole almost fit percetly but need to be rewiden a little bit more.. okay i'll try everything i can. thanks

hello,i have a frex handbrake a g27 and a ps3.Do you know wich wire of my frex handbrake i need to solder to the o button of my g27 shifter .i have to wires on my handbrake that is yellow and black?

You can search "chilicoke" mod guide on youtube, he provide a series modding video about G25/G27, included handbrake mod, stiff shifter mod, invert pedals mod and replace momo wheel mod. There you get start!

I see... well my Razo shift know comes with 3 different short tube connectors. Each size has a certain Japanese car brand to determine the eligibility.. I don't think we have the same connectors since my 3 connector tubes aren't elastic and they're just hard plastic. :( My razo is the ball type color white with Black and red razo logo on top. it's hard plastic too. simple one.. got it for 30 bucks.
I also have a question, why you think I haven't play PC sim ?

A good cockpit for a "meh" simulator. iRacing is the best, par the small car choice.

to run grand teismo with multi screen you need to have 3 ps3s with 3 copys of the game... to me thats dumb but thats how they designed it for some reason

rFactor can be a driving simulator :) Though I suppose the money thing in Europe is just bad luck for you. Feel sorry for you because PCs truly are better. Though maybe not worth it if you just want to play a driving sim.

Yeah it's much more fun to spend 500 to 600 euros in track, tires and fuel every time you want to go for a fast drive, and that's without crashing and shit... Some ppl just can't afford it.. If you can... it is more fune... If you can't you're going to have a lot of free time on your hands... So might as well build the sim right away... right?
Let alone the fact that in real racing you're kinda bound to 1 or 2 local tracks... unless... you can afford to travel a lot with 2 cars and a mobilehome
looks like a nice setup, but why spend so much money on a gaming setup? it's alot funnier to take a real car to the track then playing a sim.

Of course is a total waste of money… for that much money a pc cost more than console you can go 2 or 3 times to a track day. And you will understand there, Gt5 is not as far from real as you expect…

Hey man.. I have some minor issues.. I bought a Sparco shifter knob and it works and fits great with the included adapters... However I realize it is quite heavy for G27 (cause it spoils the thrill when shifting) so I bought a new shift knob by Razo and now I don't know how it would fit and lock.. is there any conversion/mod that you could help me? thanks.. Plus watch my video in my channel :)

Yeah but there has never been good graphics from something Nintendo have done (besides it was a joke (exempt Nintendo Wii U or whatever it is called). So when a console is primarily designed for playing games how does a PC having better games and graphics not make the PC better?....

I dont' live in UK so I dont'know, but where I live an basique PC cost around 800euros, and a PS3 about 250euros.I dont' need 3 ps3. An everybody tell me if I want to play good game on my 800euros PC I need to boost it between 300 and 500euros..anyway, we allready speaking about that on another place with some another guy, me too I need a simulator wich simulate my car. not a racing car simulator. I drive racing car only 4 days in my life!! You mistake to comparing a racing sim to a driving sim.

A gaming PC can be built easily by anybody (you don't have to be clever, everything just slots together). My cousin can do it, he is 12. A very good gaming PC that could run better graphics than a PS3 could be built for around £400.
