Great playing!! In the adagio why do you play some notes staccato in the melody? ex. 11:14 . I would also ease the trills up a bit, maybe sit on the first note a little more and then trill away. And my personal preference is to avoid too much metallico (ponticello?) in Bach. Fugue is great! Not much to say. General question, why do you avoid cross string trills? I spam those. As far as cold hands go, I try to avoid fingerings that I cannot play if not warmed up. For example more open strings instead of barring, not too many stretches.
Those chemical warm packs work really well, I use them when I have to work in the winter. They’ll stay hot for hours, but won’t burn a hole in your pocket. They’re about $1 a piece, definitely worth it. Keep a couple in your pockets for the auditions.
Hey Cameron. Just like we practice scales and arpeggios at different BPMs we should attain our grit by practicing music at different BPMs also, so that our recall and command of our fingers not only match but exceed the demands of the basic or nominal requirement. Practice slow to develop our long term attention, but we must practice fast so that our fine motors are automated and well adjusted to every detail. Then we can return to the median speed with prowess.
Sounds very nice. I was actually quite surprised by how much the fugue has improved. Many parts were smooth as silk. I know there were a few errors later on, but that's fine, no big deal. Good to see all of your hard work reward you. Practice actually works eh, who'd have thought.
can you record your audition ?😁 btw I've seen pro's mess up far worse in concert than your minor errors today. happy to say Sor Hands is my fav channel now.
Measure 38 on the fugue. I could be wrong, but I thought I heard a d natural on the & of 1. It should be a d sharp, but again, I don’t have the greatest ear.
What about some mild exercise? My hands are always cold, but lately before playing guitar I've been playing table tennis for like 25 minutes. My hands are so warm after that. Not sure what you can do when you're in your suit waiting for your audition though... jumping jacks?
Bro get some rechargeable hand warmers. Running your hands under hot water or air causes them to dry out and then you get things like rashes and sores, which make playing difficult as well.
My hands can get really cold when I’m anxious. Try some chemical hand warmers.,they can generate a lot of heat in a small package. You’ll do fine….you’re certainly👍 well prepared.

You can do dry February
Sounds great
If I haven’t eaten in a while I can get colder, then I eat and instantly warm up.
Dude. Sounding great! Speed and clarity really improved.
Thanks!

watching him talk about how to warm up while I have to practice in 100 degree heat.
I think this is the first time we get a fugue adagio combo in one video

sounds sick dude , how are you playing that trill at 15:37 ?
Thanks! Im doing a lute trill, I drag I and m across the first two strings
I dont you became dependent on then but beta blockers realy work for anxiety performance.

I've heard anxiety causes your blood flow to go to your core for your vital organs too

I use rechargeable hand warmers like the ones that gamers use.
Bro, whatever happens at audition pls don't say 'f*ck!' at the end, i've seen you've been practicing it a lot lately
Good point, It’s better to put it at the beginning instead
