22 in. head here! 🙋🏾♀️ My hair texture is about the same as yours and a little longer. Twist outs don’t work on my hair either. Braid outs tend to work better but of course the results aren’t as pretty if my hair were course. I also found out that cream products like the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie don’t work on my texture. It weighs it down. Gels, serums, And mousses work better.
