Rent gibts auf deutsch ?! WTF aber wieso ist das hier so extrem unbekannt? Ich hab neulich mal ein paar Noten dazu gesucht und bin durch ca. 12 Musikläden gerannt und da hatte niemand auch nur mal davon gehört! Voll schade, echt ein geniales Musical, gefällt aber erlich gesagt auf englisch besser!
I agree too...I could understand a little of that song (took and taking German for 2 years now) But they made the 526, 600 so funny. =D And YES! I was really sad that she didn't hit the high note of that last solo...oh well still...
Being German, I agree the original is better. But that's not a surprise. Originals tend to be better. And translating musicals is almost impossible, particularly a musical with as many textual nuances as Rent. Most Germans who know Rent where introduced to it by the movie. So it'll be hard to find impartial judges anyway ...

I take German in school and I could understand some of it. (although I know the song by hear in English) I just couldn't help but laugh at the 525,600 minuet! I was kinda disappointed that they didn't have her hit the high note for the 3rd solo. Oh well!
