This is a great topic to share with us. I couldn’t handle 500 fragrances. 😂 I have 25 bottles and I only wear about 5 consistently. Delina, Musk 12, Burberry Her elixir, vanilla 28, BR 540, la belle. 🍭🍭🍭🍭

Coco Noir is so criminally underrated. It’s absolutely my signature and it’s so beautiful. I have the body cream and love layering it after a shower.
I didn't like it :( I sold it after forcing myself to love it, for me citruses and Chanel DNA are to far from each other to be combined...
I agree, but I kind of feel it's ok that it is because it means more people are still wearing coco, or mademoiselle instead and we are the lucky few that get to be a little different yet definitely have that classic so beautifully made Chanel DNA 👌

I have maybe 6 body mists and 10 perfume. But I use them all and everyday I’m spray on or two. But will not purchase another until I’m finish one. It also depends which on I buy depending on the time of year. But I just don’t want to buy then have them turn. Way to expensive to waste. But it’s not my job either.
I have a collection of 30 fragrances and about 70 small samples/travel size. I actually love all of my 30 and rotate between seasons, around 8 for each season. I think 30 is a good collection where I actually am able to use all of them. The samples I dont like I give away or sell.
Great to see Coco Noir in the rotation! Just whittled myself down to 190 bottles recently, but I easily wear well over 100 on the regular. One for every emotion. 😆 I wear what I feel like. So when I'm angry....you'll know. You'll know down the STREET. 🤣

@@miscellaneouslife2778 😂 When I'm angry, it's either Interlude Man or Terror & Magnificence from Beaufort. When I'm sad, it depends on the kind of sadness. If I feel like cheering myself up, it'll be a floral vanilla or sweet cherry. If I feel like stewing in depression....Korloff Homme (a reminder of a failed blindbuy) or Nasomatto's Pardon. But I always yield to the subconscious. If it tells me to wear something, then regardless of how I feel, I do it. The future knows best.
I think it's so important to wear all, as much as possible, - bc these kind of Collections are made to be worn, they hv a finite shelf life, & it would be awful to waste any - & when yr collection is that big, you do hv one for whatever mood you're in that day (obvs I stopped counting at 200 - bc the b.b's got a bit silly during the Pandemic, & now I am on a none buy perhaps for a long time! ( - but which I just slightly broke recently🤭💜
to get yet another extra backup of a discontinued pfme - AND bc am desperate to try a cpl of new ZaraxJo Loves I've seen featured on various videos - only bc the prev few I bought from that collab (& I'd never buy Zara normally!) were so good. I don't smoke or drink, perfumes

Really enjoyed this video. I recently topped my all time record of 100 fragrances this year and my most worn are Byredo Gypsy Water, Diptique Tam Dao and Eau Duelle, and Jo Malone Mimosa & Cardamom. All year round scents that bring me comfort and coziness. ❤
You guys are crazy buy decants not entire bottles lol. However, I have only 45 fragrances and everytime I feel struggle to know what to wear everyday 😭
You got a great list. Although I have 200+ I’ve also narrowed my signature list down to about 10 or so. Interestingly, the 10 are all ones I bought before I even got to 50 fragrances. Just a word to the wise for those budding collectors.

It's so true...We are addicted to fragrances and keep ourselves buying more perfumes and expanding our collections but we ended up reaching and wearing only few.
I love this topic! I had 150+ bottles and I realized I’m only wearing a small part of my collection, so this year I started downsizing. I’m now down to around 50 and still feel the need to downsize more. The goal is to reach 20 fragrances max… not sure if I’ll be able to, though, because I still have some I want to get.

That's a great goal!! I'll have to declutter a few as well (hopefully before the end of the year) because inevitably some of them just get forgotten
20 is actually a really great number for a wearable collection imo. I have a mini collection of 22 ( some designer, some niche) and only consistently wear about 9 favourites. Works well for me and you have something for every occasion and yet create a scent memory so to speak with those around you 😊👌
Omg I love this!!! I definitely notice with my pregnancy I’m gravitating towards stronger spicy fragrances and gourmands. I don’t have to many but my signature fragrance before was bright crystal absolu by Versace and lately Good Girl by Carolina Herrera has been more appealing to me. I’ve been home more and I have been loving Si Fiorri just to lounge at home and for going to bed it’s settles on my skin and smells slightly lactonic which I appreciate while I’m home being pregnant 🥰

I have 70 bottles and lots of travel spays and samples. I am now writing down what I wear each day so I do a better job of rotating.
I have about 125 bottles and wear one after my am and pm showers. I also write down what I wear each day. I call it my perfume journal. I know it sounds corny but it's the only way to get through my collection.

I have Lately been buying mainly samples and travel size sprays. But I still prefer to reach for my full bottles. Autumn Vibes from Maison Margiela and Moscow Mule from JHAG are the closest to my what i would consider my signature scents, but I also love BDK’s Gris Charnel Extrait, Chanel’s Chance EDT and Baccarat Rouge 540.

I have 300+ perfumes and only wear 2 or 3 fragrances. I have decided to significantly downsize my collection as I realized I will never wear all of them. Big sacrifice though 😭😭😭

Wow!! 500 fragrances!! I have around 170 bottles and I must say, it is hard sometimes to decide what to wear each day. Most of the time, I layer them just to get better use out of my perfumes 😅😅 BUT, my top 10 of all time are:

I have been collecting for about 4 years and had well over 150 bottles before I did a big declutter. I am to the point that if a fragrance has poor performance and I don't love it it needs to go to a new home. With that being said, I love your videos! I finally found someone who has similar taste in fragrances. If you like something, chances are I will like it too. I discovered Oil Perfumery from you and I am obsessed. I mostly just buy oils now because they are easier to store and are so much more affordable. I got Bois d'Argent oil thinking that I probably would not like it and I would give it to my husband. However, I ended up loving it and it is the first time I found a fragrance that I would consider my signature scent. I can't afford the Dior prices so I got Van Cleef & Arpels Bois d'Iris (full size tester bottle for 60) from your recommendation. I layer the oil with the Bois d'Argent oil and I love it. I just ordered a back up bottle of Bois d'Iris and a 60ml of the Bois d'Argent oil because I never want to run out. Thank you for your honest reviews and content that helps make my perfume addiction more affordable!
I'm so glad you love bois d'argent! Truthfully, I tried the oil before I bought the bottle from Dior and on my skin I prefer the oil. The original somehow goes slightly more masculine. Oil Perfumery is the way to go!

I have about 100 in my collection and that is not including travel atomizer, decant, samples. I find out of them all I tend to reach for Orchidee Vanille, Lipstick On, Rose Rouge, Mon Guerlain EDP, and Scandal By Night the most during the year. I was reaching for Coconut Fizz until they discontinued it and it is nearly impossible to find a bottle for under $300
I loooove the fruity floral scent accord! It’s very uplifting and makes me happy.. so that miss Dior absolutely blooming totally got me interested.. gonna try it tomorrow 😍

I have 150+ and struggling 😆 I need to start putting some aside and sell. But I've got a rule of only having 7 on display right now they are: Portrait of a Lady, Delina exclusif, Oriana, oud bouquet, Shalimar, Coco Chanel and Libre intense if I feel for something different I have to swap with one of those so on my day to day it's easy to reach for a perfume because it depends on the occasion and what my hormones are craving for lol
I'm still trying to pin down my signature scent. I love the Chloe EDP layered with Chloe Roses and Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. Chloe Roses has been sold out for so long but I really enjoy the BBW Roses fragrance mist! I loved wearing it today with the Chanel and I felt fresh & didn't feel gross after the gym either. Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream with the '62 mist is literally the only combination I ever got compliments on! But I felt like it was too common to be a signature scent for me. I do enjoy Alien too cause I love jasmine. I like layering it with BBW Wicked Vanilla Woods but that's a seasonal scent. I tried it with BBW Pure Wonder cause I saw a comment suggesting it on another channel's comment section & it's pretty good 👍
I literally rubbed a sample of YSL Libre on my wrist this morning & it wasn't bad. I'll try to get a real sample soon lol!

It really does! I smell it on me the entire day 🥰
Over 300 bottles and wear about 75% each year, some are twice or three times a year ones some are more often but I try not to have too much usage of one as that causes me to become anosmic to them and start getting bad reactions or negative associations. I usually wear up to three a day so I don’t generally like super strong ones. I generally sell the blind buys I hate very soon or give away if they are 😢cheaper or unpopular. I won’t let go of my Guerlain ones that are exclusive or hard to get because they are always discontinuing them after I start liking them. Fresh ones for summer are refreshed very often and heavier ones less often so I buy bigger bottles of fresh ones and smallest bottles or travel sprays of heavier ones so this cuts down tremendously on cost and storage space. One drawer can hold a nearly one hundred travel sprays. I also only buy off retail for 90% of collection and more obscure brands that aren’t too popular so the collection is heavily discounted. Even niche brands have like once or twice a year sales. The only brand I’m willing to buy full price is Guerlain and that’s only if there is a gift with purchase or something like credits points with Niemans that I can use for other purchases for a big discount. I’ve gotten free whole and travel bottles, candles, soaps etc.
I have between 35 and 50 perfumes and I try to randomly pick a different scent everyday. But a few of my perfumes I do not wear year round, lol. Balancing act.
I'm restarting my collection after years of not wearing fragrance. The only full bottle I'll be buying so far is "Jardins de Misfah" from Une Nuit Nomade. I got a travel size of Creme de Cuir from BDK too, and have been enjoying those.
Jardins de Misfah is a stunner!! I've worked my way through the whole sample set from Une Nuit Nomade and it was definitely a fave. My bottle is on the way along with Sun Bleached :) I already have Bohemian Soul and Click Song which first caught my attention ❤️
Loved hearing your go-to's. Your descriptions are always so beautiful - almost as good as using the perfumes themselves! I've been on an unexpected Bvlgari jag for the last few years. Unexpected because I usually go for woody, mossy, grassy. I started with Omnia Coral for summer and Indian Garnet for the rest of the year. Love at first sniff for Coco Noir! Blind buy for YSL Libre and ended up reaching this more than my 5 other chanels and i wear libre when I sleep because of its very comforting

I have 40 fragrances and I wear them all but the ones that I wear most often are: Skylar Salt Air, Jo Malone Poppy and Barley, Black Opium Intense, Floral Street Sunflower Pop, and Henry Rose Flora Carnivora.
Gosh, I need to do this. What a great video. Also, I realise I have some I love and don't wear enough. There is also that thing of wearing something to use it up! I need to just wear what I feel good in. I imagine it would be a mix of Niche and Designer too. My Penhaligons Luna, also Clandestine Clara, Lancome La Nuit Tresor, Xerjoff Lira, and Dior Feve Delicious!
Feminin Pluriel is my favorite MFK. It's a holy grail scent for me. Magic is right. i don't have many backup bottles, but this is one of them.

It seems like I cycled through brands . I used to wear almost all the Chanel line, Ralph Lauren, Lancôme some Elizabeth Arden when I was young. 2 of the best were from Tiffany but sadly discontinued. Now i cycle through most Marc jacobs , DG the one and intense, Carolina Herrera and Ferragamo signoria . The largest my collection Has been maybe 40, but I found the scents would turn.
Own 70, want to downsize to 40 maybe 50, but it’s so hard!

After spraying fragrance, is it normal for your nose to tune out the smell? I can't smell the scent of perfume after spraying it lol. Nobody ever scrunches up their nose around me or gives me bad (or positive) reviews either, so I wonder if they even notice; I wonder if they can even smell it! That's the main reason I don't want to invest in perfume, but I'd like to buy more. lol
Yes it's absolutely normal! We become nose blind after a while, especially if the scent is strong. It's the same thing that happens when people live in certain areas that have specific odours (ie nuclear plants or heavy farming areas). It's actually the brain's defense mechanism. If we were to smell a noxious odour for a prolonged period of time we would actually go crazy. It's very interesting, there have been many psychological studies on this

I initially stopped because I got pregnant and limited any chemicals (yes, even fragrances!) and then I kind of thought the grays look pretty dope so I decided to let them grow and see where it takes me ☺️
That being said, I used to be very blonde and stopped that because it destroyed my hair

I'd recommend starting with fragrance oils, maybe dupes. A lot of brands ship worldwide and offer small sample sizes which will allow you to try out lots of different scents

I have around 60 + backups and I wear I think on a regular basis like 10 or so, I try... Try to pay attention to everyone but I understood that I need to downsize to the best of the best that i Iove and have no complaints about.. I guess minus 5 or so perfumes to go.
