I just want to thank you, Home Free, for giving us a free bit of your concert. You absolutely did not have to do that, but I'm glad you did. I have seen you live, but for those who haven't this gives them a real taste of what it's like to be there. As good as some fan footage can be, nothing beats a professional production. Thanks again and have fun in Australia.

@@IHGChick Yes, just like it said in the description. They've had people who bought Mandolin tickets for this show back in November. It's not like they're going to piss off those fans (and take food out of their families' mouths) by giving the whole concert away for free. With the kind of entitled complaining they're getting, you can bet they'll think twice before giving "fans" a live glance at a show again.

However, my introduction to this was a push notification on UA-cam that they were live. I knew nothing about this concert before that. I clicked on the link and went to full screen. never saw the description. Nor do I honestly care that it was just a short sample of the show. It was the rude way that they let us know about it. I might would have bought a ticket to watch the stream if he had been a bit nicer about it. I understand they need to be paid. No problem with that. But this was just rude.
@@mertonbeaudion7851 The guys announced the show months ago and the livestream was offered then. When the show was cancelled by the Ryman, the guys were all over their individual social media accounts as well as the band’s accounts to let people know and to announce that all tickets would be honored for a March 5 performance. I’m not sure how they could have gotten the word out any more than they did. You were offered something free, why complain about it?

Oh so sorry I didn’t know it wasn’t the concert. Spent an hour setting everything up for the best ever experience and darn it, I missed the memo on pay to watch. Next time I’ll know better and be prepared. I adore these boys and thought finally I’ll get to see them live. I appreciate them almost as much for their personalities as for their out of this world vocals. Godspeed Home Free. Wow that audience you have in front of you and I’ll just keep hoping that one day I’ll be fortunate enough to get real seats in a city near me. ❤

I flew from Japan to go to their shows on 22 and 23 last month, and it was totally worth it!!! Their live music was fantastic and what is more, I was very lucky enough to have a chat with Adam, Austin and Tim!! They were so nice and kind to me😭😭
I couldn't afford VIP ticket this time, so next time I'm definitely gonna get it!!

Thank you SO much Home Free and Texas Hill for giving us a glimpse into one of your concerts. I may never get to see you live, so this was a real treat. Please ignore the negatives in the live chat and comments. I will never understand why people think it's ok to be so rude. Some of us truly appreciate all of this.

Thanks for sharing Texas Hill's opener and your first couple songs. I, for one, am grateful for you taking the time to work this out so we could get a taste of your concert, even if we couldn't afford the $20 for Mandolin tickets. I'm shocked by the number of ungrateful "fans" in the comments and in the live chat. I hope that doesn't put you off of doing this again.
I'm with you there! I'm glad that I could afford the Mandolin - tickets, but if I couldn't I would be grateful for even a small glimps and not complain that I didn't get more.
@Lynette Cowper some of the comments were pretty upsetting! It makes me happy to see some such as yourself to be grateful for this opportunity. They certainly didn't have to share anything! 👍
I had tickets but I totally forgot about them and went to sleep(dutch) ;-; so I am really happy that they posted this!
@@AtlasIgne Yeah, I had some international friends who had streaming tickets worried about falling asleep and missing it. You may be able to get your Mandolin ticket price back. Don't know how that works.

I hope folks know it was generous of you all to allow for a little of the show to be free for viewing. Not many groups do that kind of thing. Or any, that I can think of. Don't know what was up with the fire alarm and the delay, but am actually glad for it, as I had issues getting onto the show at Mandolin. A customer service guy there helped me out, and even offered to arrange it so I could watch the opening act later on their website if I wanted to do that. Thankfully Texas Hill was here on UA-cam though. And ta-da,the late start meant I got to see the whole show after all. You guys sound better every time I hear you. Thanks, Home Free. And thanks for blowin' out my headphones, Tim. 😜
I was at the Ryman that night. The story on the fire alarm is that AFTER the announcement was made of NO SMOKING at all inside the building, some IDIOT decided to go into the elevator, light a cigarette and set off the smoke alarm. Go Figure.

Texas Hill is just like icing on the best cake in the bakery. Thank you for that 1:18:43 worth of free YouTubing! Some of us lack the technology to buy into the whole cancert/party -- this is as close as we will get to seeing Home Free live. Meanwhile, the cake in the bakery is shared so many ways -- you are more than generous with your talent. This was great.

Bought a ticket and tried to get on but had no success with Mandolin. Out the money, frustrated, will not go that route again. I would have enjoyed the free time, but thought I could see the whole show live. Was very disappointed .
I hope so much that Homefree will come to my neck of the woods in Central Florida !
In April they are. I'm going to the Ft Meyers concert on April 19th...they are in Orlando on the 21st and Clearwater on the 20th I believe. I'm driving from Miami to see them !!

What a double thrill to be able to relive the opening minutes of my first concert 3 days earlier at Robinson Auditorium! Words cannot express my appreciation to y'all for revitalizing my life after accidentally finding your music over the summer! Tim, Home Free gives us what we need, but it IS what we want. Thank you again for this snippet of the concert that has changed the life outlook for a simple middle school teacher. Home Free, ya got what it takes, keep on takin' it down the road, and come back this way soon, ya hear?

As much as I enjoy hearing these live performances, it's nothing compared to having actually been there live and seeing HF in concert. There's just something special about live music.

I would have loved to join the live chat. And normally I would have done that, although I live in the Netherlands and times are very different. But let me just get a migraine attack😪 and I had to get up at 6 am to go to work (now it is 7.15 am). I hope it will come again soon, because I don't think I will see a "real" live performance here in the Netherlands in the coming year. So you can understand that I am very sad.
Also thought it would be nice to chat with Home Free, Texas Hill and their fans.
But luckily i can watch it again.😁 And I can say that what I'm seeing sounds and looks great, that I really hope to see a live performance from you guys soon.🥰

I sat through 100 degree temperature at the Oregon Jamboree 2022 just to see them. The high heat made enjoying them difficult so kind of disappointed tonight that I didn’t get to see the entire show. Did not know it was a paid show until it cut off. Luv these guys!
This was the Christmas concert canceled 12/23/22. Then rescheduled for 1/5/23 . Sorry you missed knowing streaming options were available

I’m needing out so much right now. I was at this concert. My first home free concert thanks to a Christmas present from the love of my life and now my wife. This was by far the greatest experience of my life so far (our wedding is on 6/1/24, but married by the state 4/4/24) love you guys!

The sh%$ ended for me….hahaha Tim. I only saw Boondocks and Elvira. The sound was so good. I didn’t pay as I saw them twice in concert before but I should have shelled out the twenty bucks. I also want to thank you HF gentlemen for offering this livestream on UA-cam. I had Mandolin tickets (and have seen you live multiple times), but it was so nice to see so many new 🍟s develop from this hour time period. It was so pleasant to see the “seasoned” 🍟s interact with the newbies, as well as see so many reactors interact in the chat. As you all know the comments were by and large positive and I just thank you for giving us a forum to communicate like that (not to mention swoon over the music, as usual 😜🥰😍🎼).
I wish I could have watched but It was like 12pm in Australia and I was at school so I couldn't watch it, love both of these amazingly talented groups live, makes me feel like I;m there with them!! Amazing work, guys keep it up!!

I work NOC shift and I totally slept through my opportunity to sign in to Mandolin to get the ticket and view the whole show. Was it recorded in such a way that you could put out a DVD for purchase??? I would certainly buy it if you could. I was so disappointed to miss it. I'm not associated with Home Free, but my understanding is they can't offer recordings of concerts because of copyright / royalty issues. I believe the Ryman as a venue is actually the one offering the Livestream rather than Home Free, but can only offer it live, not recorded or replayable. Unfortunately, for those fans who couldn't make it at the time.

I've never gotten to see you live (I'm in a little corner of Canada) and I just love the live videos - I know it's not the same as being there but it's next best. I'm always grateful for posts of live concerts for letting the rest of us watch! I know it's irrelevant to the music but I love it when Austin's hair is down!

14 minutes of audience chatter, then opening group, then more audience chatter, more opening group, more audience chatter, Home Free finally comes on at 1:05:20. Yeah, wade through over an hour before hitting the first song from them, then 13 whole minutes left in the video.

I was really wanting to hear the whole thing. If I could have paid I would have gone the 100 miles to Tulsa, OK.
I was there sat at the back with my family and we wondered why the tv screens set up around the room under the balcony weren't being utilised so that we could see what was going on at the top of the stage when yall were up at the looping desk. You had all this set up for broadcast, it shouldn't be too difficult to have it playing internally so that all the fans got to see the whole show? Got some very funny pictures of everyone's talented feet. 😆 Thankfully you all still sounded amazing, so I can't complain TOO much, but definitely something to look into for next time you're at the Ryman!
