@@serpentmaster1323 I'm not trying to discredit the creators at all because no matter what tools you have animation is difficult. Was more saying the software made it easier for them to go hard. 5:04 The wizard pony is an important historical figure who shows up a lot throughout the series, but he only gets mentioned for the first time in season 2.
When Luna became nightmare moon, it wasn’t just simple anger or sorrow. This was thousands upon thousands of years of torment, basically, that corrupted her. Just for context :)
Celestia and Luna were only ruling for a little over 100 years by the time Luna became NMM. This is based on what Twi said in Horse Play (s8) when they were celebrating 1,111 years since Celestia raised the sun.
The unicorn shadow on the Moon is there to signal Luna imprisonment. That shadow disappeared when Luna was freed/escaped during the first 2 episodes. It signals past times in the show, whenever you see the moon with that shadow it means it is time during Luna imprisonment. One of those tidbits which makes Equestrian worldbuilding so fascinating (at least for me).
The unicorn wizard in "The Moon Rises" was Starswril the Bearded. He was the mentor of Celestia and Luna, and the animation has him watching Luna succumb to the madness and is genuinely scared because he doesn't know how to fix it. I think G4 hit a chord with people because of how Laureen Faust set this generation up - it was a story with continuity (for the most part) rather than a half hour commercial for the new toy. If you're just starting to get into the show, I'm not going to say anything else for fear of spoilers, other than it will be season 2 before Luna becomes an actual character.
That was a nice job of giving just the pertinent information, without directly referring to future events in the show. Btw, the word "subcome" is spelled _succumb._
If I remember correctly, the fandom really attached to Luna early on. A lot of stories of her adjusting to the modern day and technology, with hijinx ensuing, were written. A milenia out of time does a lot.
Oh yeah, it was because what little we saw of her in the premiere was so fascinating and compelling, and then foe the rest of the first season we just... never saw her again, not until season 2. So that gave the fandom all the incentive and time to go nuts with fan theories and fanon. For the longest time the prevalent fanon depiction of her was a shy, awkward shrinking violet (who was also obsessed with an abacus for some reason), which threw a lot of people for a loop when she returned in season 2 and while she was still awkward and out of touch with modern Equestria, she was far from shy :p
From what I understand of the lore, Luna was enticed by a dark force that feed on the dark emotions she was already harboring. It whispered in her ear and made the dark emotions she already had more intense until she snapped. I believe that's what the books say, but I might be miss remembering.
There is another animation in the same vein as these two, from a time when the two sisters were kids. It's called The Beginning of Harmony, by Minty Root. But it doesn't have any lyrics or dialogue, it uses an orchestral arrangement based on background music from the show, made by a musician known as MelodicPony (who sadly passed away a few years ago). The animation is mostly based on a story that is told in season 2, but it's ancient history and not really a spoiler for the show itself, and some of it isn't canon anyway. Or if you want to see the sisters in a more lighthearted setting, there's the animation Who Knows, by shgurr, which is really cute and funny. But it takes place in season 5, so it has a few spoilers. Nothing that you haven't already seen in the song Flawless, though.
Who knows wasn't originally made by shgurr, she just made a reupload with a new animation for it that she made. the song is very good and lighthearted and both animations are wonderful, i recommend watching both 4everfreebrony made the song and the original animatic was made by anticular
thank you for actually appreciating & discussing the story! i don't think anyone minds you listening quietly, so no worries, and it's fun to hear all your thoughts at the end. both of those songs are so good and such classics, but lullaby for a princess makes me cry every time i listen to it even years later haha.
All it took, was the first two episodes. You know they had a tearful reunion in the end. So this is why Lullaby for a Princess hits harder. I'm glad you got to watch it in order. There're just plenty of fan content regarding this bit of season 1 lore that strikes the right heartstrings
The animation for "Lullaby for a Princess" took over two years! It's such a shame that Warped Out disappeared after this one and only left a second one. Which was for a song made by "Twitch" - I think it was a remix of "The Changeling" Who sadly also left the fandom after creating a few awesome hits! I mean, she's still into music but not pony.
The bit at the end where it shows a baby Luna being tucked into bed by Celestia, then an older Luna being tucked in, leading into the very end where Celestia is setting the moon is such a beautiful image. It's tragic, yes, but that scene progression creates this image that Celestia is still tucking her little sister into bed as she brings the moon below the horizon.
If you want another good fan-made MLP vid I suggest Snowdrop. Its a 14 min story video abt a young filly whos down on her luck but is such a shining light. It has both Celestia and Luna in it as well! its a heartwarming and heartwrenching video that made me cry multiple times
Idk why but hearing the "and forgive me for being so blind" hits hard for me. I can see Celestia's perspective clearly since I'm the oldest like her and I'm afraid of missing the warning signs if my siblings go through something 😅
The animation for lullaby for a princess is all the channel the post the video is for and the song is about how she misses her younger sister after she quite literally sends her to the moon almost a thousand years ago
I feel like when people react to "lullaby for princess" they never really noticed that she's singing her sister a lullaby as in putting her to sleep. just Like it shows the flashback of her tucking in her sister every night before she banished her. 13:40 -14:26
There is a warrior cats map that uses a cover of this song, one of the good old ones if you ever want to dapple into the warrior cats animation community. :)
I seen this years ago while it was new, the cartoon still coming out. Seeing little Luna being put to bed by Celestia gave me very many manly-tears. This backstory will come up eventually, but the animation and song came out way before. Continue the series and you'll see how Hasbro did it.
Something i recommend you viewing, is The Light, The Darkness, and The Light and Darkness by 4everfreebrony in that order. Odyssey is a featured musician in this trio of music. I believe you'll thoroughly enjoy those pieces. Will mention that there's no animated piece for those songs (would be cool if there was).
Lullaby for a Princess is even more impressive when you take into account the fact that Warpout animated this. by hand. BY HIMSELF. It was just him. Which is why it took so long. There's some bts stuff on his youtube channel about it which is neat.
the moon rises always gets me how she gets more and more like the nightmare moon. like at the last few lines she's getting LOUDER. Like nightmare moon, always yelling....
Yeah, in a fandom that has thousands of hours of music, animations, stories.. everything.. these two productions are among the very peak of what it can do. Both songs were created by a brother/sister pair under the name Ponyphonic and then animated by different people, Warp Out for Lullaby, Duo Cartoonist for Moon Rises. The version of the song in Moon Rises was actually a cover of the original, being sung by Ellie Monty, while Lullaby is the original Ponyphonic work. Ponyphonic also has another amazing song that serves as part of this set that sadly never got an animation made of it, but that song is better off waiting till after you are in season 2 to understand the full context of it. And yeah, these songs both really show both sides of this argument and how much each of the Sisters suffered... For other good to watch early on and no real major spoilers or things that only make sense in context of later seasons videos, there are two more classic Best Princess related ones, the animation Children of the Night, also done by Duo Cartonist, and the song For the New Lunar Republic. Praise Luna!
1. The wizard is Star Swirl the Bearded (a local version of Gandalf) the mentor of Celestia and Luna, but canonically speaking he shouldn't with Luna at this point of time. 2. The transformation into Nightmare Moon is never properly explained in the show. In the MLP comics there's a pretty interesting mechanism which caused that, but I guess it's not cannon. My favourite thing around that idea is that in the comics at one point Rarity becomes her own version of Nightmare Moon - epic adventure and hilarity ensues.
There’s someone who made a bunch of MLP fan animatics based off of a lot of Broadway songs: They went by “Inkpotts” And I think they would be really worth reacting to. But a small warning : Some of them can get dark. (Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde) ‘This is the moment’ ‘Alive’ ‘Confrontation’ (Count of Monte Cristo) ‘A Story Told’ ‘I will be there’ ‘Every day a little death’ ‘Hell to your doorstep’ ‘I know those eyes/this man is dead’ ‘The man I used to be’
About that Luna's transofrmation it has been said in first episode that she turned to the "shadow" (and she wasn't the only one) but it wasn't explained what/who it is until later seasons so I'm not sure if I should spoil that. You will get there later if you will watch episodes :3
There is actually a sequel to this song; well, there are two separate versions. One is from Luna’s perspective, called *'Luna’s Reply,'* and the other is from Nightmare Moon’s perspective, called *‘Luna's Soliloquy.’* I highly recommend that you watch both versions. Here are the videos for them: - *Luna's Reply Animatic* by *Zhyreb.* - *Luna's Soliloquy Original Pitch ~ Lyric* by *Alexander Lexiel.* I hope you like both videos and songs.
Luna is my absolute absolute favourite and as a child I always resented Celestia for what she did to her. I still hold onto most of that resentment as I rewatch. To have no one appreciate her hard work for all those years and for her to work alone, no wonder she went insane. And to be punished by MORE alone time imprisoned on the moon for a THOUSAND YEARS.
As much as Celestia has been through, Luna has been through hell and back. Returning from the moon didn’t even fix the problems she was upset about. She just had to bow her head to her sister once more and vanish into the shadows with minimal appreciation once more.
Between you and the UA-camr Scoot I’m reliving what made me love this fandom so much. I can’t wait to see more. I loved your reaction to these especially Lullaby for a Princess. When it released in Season 4 after being in production for 3 1/2 years I really felt the power from it. Because I had spent many years with these characters. The fact you picked up on the backstory so well made me relive my emotions when I first saw this. Love it please keep it up.
These animations may not be as good as the actual show, But it's fan projects like these that are one of the many things that keep the mlp fandom alive.
Personally in many ways I find some of the fan animation to be higher quality than the shows animation, more expressive, more detailed etc. Considering that the actual show is flash animated but the fan animations are often hand drawn. The moon rises looks fantastic I think😄.
One thing I don't think you caught is that in Lullaby for a Princess, Celestia's hair changed colors when she banished her sister. Thus, every time Celestia looks in the mirror, she will be reminded of her failure. Additionally, it was in the background, but the reason for Celestia's and Nightmare Moon's (Luna's) fight is that Nightmare Moon was going to keep the world in eternal night. This, as I am sure you can imagine, would cause the crops to die and cause the world to freeze. Thus Celestia had to fight her sister to keep the rest of the world alive. As for recommendations, outside of those recommended by others, I would recommend the AMAZING work by Jyc Row, especially his "Infinite Eclipse" saga. If you don't want to watch it in order, I would suggest listening to "Together Against the Sisters". However, before you listen to it, I implore you to read the documents that are linked in the description beforehand so you know what is going on. Another AMAZING creator is PrinceWhateverer. One of his best song that is also a tribute to the fan creators of MLP called Solidarity Map. It is a great way to see all the different contributions to the fandum by different creators. Unfortunately, I cannot make my recommendation on Discord as I will not rejoin that website due to many instances of extreme negativity that I experienced in the past on it.
There are hours and hours of full animations from the fandom, let alone music. There was even the pony version of AMV Hell that has at least seven volumes a few of them being over an hour long. Most of the favorites are animations set to songs, though there's quite a few great animations that aren't. A lot of the later animations will have spoilers of course so it's something you have to consider. Though watching some of the songs from the series has already given you a few spoilers. One animation/song you could watch that's on the more lighthearted side is Don't Mine at Night by Jan Animation Studio.
Glad these songs moved you. They’re the peak of fandom content imo. Would love to see more people react to Centaurworld. So many people are sleeping on it and it kills me! It’s got a ton of music, and while some of it is really silly, there are also some really good heavy songs. Song suggestions from Centaurworld: - What if I Forget Your Face - Rider’s Lullaby - Who is She - Who is she (reprise) - Rainbow Road
I agree, it's really a banger, specially the songs ( i listen to them many times and haven't even see the show yet, and maybe i had some tears coming..)
I'd reccomend some brony made audio stories. 1. Doctor Whooves adventures 2. Doctor Whooves and assistant. The above two are separate series made independently of each other by two separate groups, both have really good audio quality and production, comparable to the "his dark materials" series (Golden Compass, Subtle Knife and Amber Spyglass) 3. Phoenix Wright/MLP: Turnabout Storm 4. Phoenix Wright/MLP: Elements of Justice series
There's a fan song response to Lullaby for a Princess called Luna's Reply. I think it's just a song, not an animation so you can just watch it in your free time if you want too. No react video required.
The wizard is Starswirl the Bearded. He is a historical figure known for his discoveries in the way magic is used as well as created many spells unicorns use in modern times.
I'm sure someone else has mentioned but this is actually the extended version of the song there is an original version that was shorter, I loved when the longer version was released
on the thousand years of pain, Why do you think Celestia felt it necessary to take the steps she did to get luna reformed? when you think about what she had to do, the moves she had to make, all the little details she had to meticulously account and plan for (and there is stuff you haven't seen yet). All in order to make sure the right ponies were in the right place when she released Luna from her prison. it's mind blowing. on the songs. Both songs were fan made, and made by Ponyphonic. he released The Moon Rises song first, singing it himself (he actually has a really great voice). it got really popular, and later that year he released Lullaby for a princess as a kind of sequel song, but also expanding and telling the story from the other side. it became a pretty big hit (tho far from the biggest pony song at the time.) Warp out then decides to make an animation for lullaby, and releases an animatic, which blows up. Ponyphonic releases a remake of the moon rises, with an extra verse and a female singer. Kristen Calvin. Warp outs Lullaby comes out, and the fandom explodes. it is to date the most popular fandom animation a few years later the husband and wife team, Duo Cartoonist, who had already impressed the fandom with "Children of the night" starts work on The Moon Rises. they decide not to use Kristen's version, but uses a cover of it done by fandom singer Ellemonty. they release it and its a pretty big hit. the reason what you saw was a reupload is because when that whole COPPA thing started on youtube they decided to take down their channel, and everything on it. sadly no full quality version is available online as far as i've seen. on the bright side, they had stopped doing videos cause Lionheart had got a job as a professional animator, and did work on star vs the forces of evil.
theres a fan animation done by Dragonfoxgirl? of that song from Jackal and Hyde of luna and nightmare moon thats nice to watch. the struggle between luna and nightmare.
the story says luna was mad at her sister for valid reasons. and a ghostly/astral type of parasite usually referred as simply nightmare's infested her and as her sadness and anger fueled the parasite it took over luna mind and body and she become her twisted manipulated self called nightmare moon. ( One offical episode we even see how Celestia woud look like if she was also took over by this parasite as she became Daybreaker )
If you're still taking suggestions, for fan made stuff. Bonnie by Vylet Pony, the Animation very is well done. Another good one is The Yak Song also by Vylet Pony. If you don't want to do two songs by the same artist, Jyc Row & WoodLore - Flamethrone Legacy ft Karen Warren is really good.
I told you about this song in the video where you said that you really want to hear a villain song. Can’t recall witch. And the song is fan made as well. They couldn’t say that it’s got no relation with Hasbro or DHX otherwise. And since I’m already commenting, I just want to say that the video that you’re gonna watch next by Warp Out, that he cuts out the first chorus and just moves on to the second verse, so if you want to hear the full song check the description for the original source.
This nightmare night thing... someone somehow said, so ah just recently picjed it up, that someone said, it was some demonic entity, in and of itself xD.... ...... ..... ... yeah, but might not be true, this way, cause, there was never any mentioning about it in the show itself xD
If you get a chance, 4everfreebrony is an amazing acoustic artist in the fandom. Some songs I would recommend are "As the Thunder Rolls By", "Stop and Smell the Roses", and "House of Glass(re-recorded)". He is very talented with a guitar, as well.
Everyone sympathizes for Luna and believe she got the shorter end of the stick, but imagine the agony of knowing you had very few options in that moment, it was her or your subjects, and having to act fast, had to send her away, with your last words likely being pretty aggressive. Then imagine living with that suffering for 1000 years. Assuming each year in Equestria remains at 365 days with no room for deviation, that's 365,000 days of living with that while living through each day. I'd actually argue Celestia got it worse.
Could u listen to fan songs from avatar the last airbender pls listen to eye of the storm, in your eyes, in the clouds, balance, friend or foe, fight like a girl, more that I fear you , find you and , if atla was a musical

Unpopular opinion: The Moon Rises is kind of lacklustre, and it makes me sad because the animators were more than capable of making what could've been a really cool video. 85% of it is just Luna standing at a window. There's no real story structure to it, but I feel like it's held up on such a high pedestal because it's a good animation. And yes, it is, but good art/animation =/= a well structured piece if there's nothing there. Lullaby for a Princess is actually a perfect example on what *to* do. It tells a story throughout and really hammers home how drastic of a moment it was, whereas TMR is just Luna sings at window… Luna uses magic for visual effect… Luna walks down a hallway and uses more magic for visual effect and sings at another window. It would've been nice to see them actually try to play into past experiences of Luna not getting recognition or more of her gradually transforming throughout instead of just her eyes segueing into the full NMM 2 seconds before the end of the video, something engaging instead of her moping and staring at her window reflections the entire time. Imagine how boring LfaP would be if it was just Celestia staring up at the moon the entire video while wandering around the ground around her and occasionally using magic for like a 5 second visual effect to tell a story that isn't being portrayed to us. A second, *very* unpopular opinion: Elie's cover of TMR is… eh. She either puts not enough energy or too much energy into verses and fails to capture the elegance/somberness that the original has. She just devolves into screaming at the end for some reason when that's the complete opposite of tone that the song was trying to portray. They should've just used the original instead. And before I get hit with the inevitable, empty arguments of "I bEt YoU cAnT dO aNiMaTiOnS oR sInG aNy BeTtEr!!11!1" 1) I never claimed to 2) I don't have to be a movie exec or producer or script writer to tell you that some movies are hot garbage nor do I have to be an author to tell you some books suck. A well-animated fanwork with no real story structure isn't above criticism just because it has pretty animation. Also please just remember that this is *my* opinion on the matter. If you like TMR and it's your favourite fan animation/song cover from the fandom, that's great! I'm genuinely happy that it brings you joy. I just feel like there was a lot of wasted potential when it came to the animation as a whole and it's sad to see. Edit: spelling
Hello 🙂. I like Lullaby For A Princess. That animation gives me so much emotion. I have a question to ask. If you are saying ,, She s been through a lot , you mean Celestia or Luna ?
Now that you've seen the popular retelling of the Great Celestia-Luna Rift, you also *must* listen to _Moonrise_ - the symphonic metal opera. Make sure to use a lyric video version; it gets pretty hard to follow otherwise. But it is the _other_ spectacular retelling of this tale, and definitely comes highly recommended.
My headcanon is that he was "visiting" the future (perhaps as an accident while developing his spell to go back in time). -> After coming back, he discretely attempted to help Luna (but without knowing the "roots" of the problem, he just focused on discipline/duty); merely delaying the inevitable [giving the sisters time to move from Unicornia/Canterlot to the Pilars "headquarters" in Everfree]. . Perhaps this "vision" of a posible dark future also influenced him into seeking help from others & to leave an "automated system" to replace his unique rol as Defender of the Realm ( in case he would never return from one if his adventures).
Fun fact: The moon rises was animated using the same software that was used for the official MLP movie. That's why the animation goes so hard!

Nothing that you haven't already seen in the song Flawless, though.
ouuuuu ill look into it
Who knows wasn't originally made by shgurr, she just made a reupload with a new animation for it that she made. the song is very good and lighthearted and both animations are wonderful, i recommend watching both
4everfreebrony made the song and the original animatic was made by anticular
yes finally someone mentions The Beginning of Harmony!
thank you for actually appreciating & discussing the story! i don't think anyone minds you listening quietly, so no worries, and it's fun to hear all your thoughts at the end. both of those songs are so good and such classics, but lullaby for a princess makes me cry every time i listen to it even years later haha.
Which was for a song made by "Twitch" - I think it was a remix of "The Changeling"
Who sadly also left the fandom after creating a few awesome hits! I mean, she's still into music but not pony.
you really need to hear the song "i am just a pony" its from the show but trust me the vocals are beyond beautiful

What about The Fall Of Crystal Empire?
Ponyphonic was just amazing with his music, pretty much everything her wrote was great.
The scene of princess Celestia crying after banishing princess luna made me cry so much
Idk why but hearing the "and forgive me for being so blind" hits hard for me. I can see Celestia's perspective clearly since I'm the oldest like her and I'm afraid of missing the warning signs if my siblings go through something 😅
It’s both a sad and villain song and it’s about how none of her subjects respect her as much is the respect her sister
ahhhh i wished the song was longerrrr
The animation for lullaby for a princess is all the channel the post the video is for and the song is about how she misses her younger sister after she quite literally sends her to the moon almost a thousand years ago
Future brony ?
I feel like when people react to "lullaby for princess" they never really noticed that she's singing her sister a lullaby as in putting her to sleep. just Like it shows the flashback of her tucking in her sister every night before she banished her. 13:40 -14:26
I sawewwwww
Will mention that there's no animated piece for those songs (would be cool if there was).
you should listen to 'Luna's Reply' and the duet version of 'Lullaby for a Princess and Luna's Reply'

Just gonna leave this here, because I love people reaction to this one
Lullaby for a Princess is even more impressive when you take into account the fact that Warpout animated this. by hand. BY HIMSELF. It was just him. Which is why it took so long. There's some bts stuff on his youtube channel about it which is neat.
Eeeekkkk. The moon rises better

The hardest thing to realize is that a villain’s song is usually a sad one.
FINALLY WHOOOOOOOOO!! i cry every time at these two aha :)
they where so good!!
this song would be like....a villan song but the villan has a tragic backstory, atleast thats how i see it--(for the moon rises)
the moon rises always gets me how she gets more and more like the nightmare moon. like at the last few lines she's getting LOUDER.
Miu's version of For the new lunar republic is still a regular listen for me.
Lullaby for a Princess is up there with Leaves from the Vine, you play it and my eyes start leaking bad.
Lullaby for a princess never fails to make me emotional, it's just so incredibly touching and tragic.
THE MOON RISES BETTER
"Moon Rises" is the villian song that first 2 episodes of MLP were lacking :3
My favourite thing around that idea is that in the comics at one point Rarity becomes her own version of Nightmare Moon - epic adventure and hilarity ensues.
the wizard pony is called star swirl the bearded :)
There’s someone who made a bunch of MLP fan animatics based off of a lot of Broadway songs:
They went by “Inkpotts”
And I think they would be really worth reacting to.
But a small warning :
Some of them can get dark.
(Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde)
‘This is the moment’
‘Alive’
‘Confrontation’
(Count of Monte Cristo)
‘A Story Told’
‘I will be there’
‘Every day a little death’
‘Hell to your doorstep’
‘I know those eyes/this man is dead’
‘The man I used to be’
About that Luna's transofrmation it has been said in first episode that she turned to the "shadow" (and she wasn't the only one) but it wasn't explained what/who it is until later seasons so I'm not sure if I should spoil that. You will get there later if you will watch episodes :3
There is actually a sequel to this song; well, there are two separate versions. One is from Luna’s perspective, called *'Luna’s Reply,'* and the other is from Nightmare Moon’s perspective, called *‘Luna's Soliloquy.’*
I highly recommend that you watch both versions. Here are the videos for them:
- *Luna's Reply Animatic* by *Zhyreb.*
- *Luna's Soliloquy Original Pitch ~ Lyric* by *Alexander Lexiel.*
I hope you like both videos and songs.
This song literally made me cry, I love Celestia and I can relate to that sibling love. Plus the animation and singing are awesome 10/10.

And just think.....this was only a taste of what the Brony fandom was capable of, and this was back when it was in its prime!!
You WILL see more Luna, don’t worry - btw, season 2 is really strong
Luna is my absolute absolute favourite and as a child I always resented Celestia for what she did to her. I still hold onto most of that resentment as I rewatch. To have no one appreciate her hard work for all those years and for her to work alone, no wonder she went insane. And to be punished by MORE alone time imprisoned on the moon for a THOUSAND YEARS.
As much as Celestia has been through, Luna has been through hell and back. Returning from the moon didn’t even fix the problems she was upset about. She just had to bow her head to her sister once more and vanish into the shadows with minimal appreciation once more.
These songs are so pretty. They always give me goose bumps tho
such beautiful artworks
factsssss!
Love it please keep it up.
i really appriciate what you said that means so much!
What? Fan animation are often way better than original. This animation basicaly inspire style for MLP movie.
@@Sandro_de_Vega It was made in the same software!

Unfortunately, I cannot make my recommendation on Discord as I will not rejoin that website due to many instances of extreme negativity that I experienced in the past on it.
you should check out Son of Princess Luna 😉
Song suggestions from Centaurworld:
- What if I Forget Your Face
- Rider’s Lullaby
- Who is She
- Who is she (reprise)
- Rainbow Road
I agree, it's really a banger, specially the songs ( i listen to them many times and haven't even see the show yet, and maybe i had some tears coming..)
Im glad you finally got to watching these. been waiting for this.
more to come!!
I'd reccomend some brony made audio stories.
1. Doctor Whooves adventures
2. Doctor Whooves and assistant.
The above two are separate series made independently of each other by two separate groups, both have really good audio quality and production, comparable to the "his dark materials" series (Golden Compass, Subtle Knife and Amber Spyglass)
3. Phoenix Wright/MLP: Turnabout Storm
4. Phoenix Wright/MLP: Elements of Justice series
There's a fan song response to Lullaby for a Princess called Luna's Reply. I think it's just a song, not an animation so you can just watch it in your free time if you want too. No react video required.
The smooth jazzy music is so funky in the intro 😮
haha thank you thank you

Both songs were fan made, and made by Ponyphonic. he released The Moon Rises song first, singing it himself (he actually has a really great voice). it got really popular, and later that year he released Lullaby for a princess as a kind of sequel song, but also expanding and telling the story from the other side. it became a pretty big hit (tho far from the biggest pony song at the time.)
Warp out then decides to make an animation for lullaby, and releases an animatic, which blows up.
Ponyphonic releases a remake of the moon rises, with an extra verse and a female singer. Kristen Calvin.
Warp outs Lullaby comes out, and the fandom explodes. it is to date the most popular fandom animation
a few years later the husband and wife team, Duo Cartoonist, who had already impressed the fandom with "Children of the night" starts work on The Moon Rises. they decide not to use Kristen's version, but uses a cover of it done by fandom singer Ellemonty. they release it and its a pretty big hit.
the reason what you saw was a reupload is because when that whole COPPA thing started on youtube they decided to take down their channel, and everything on it. sadly no full quality version is available online as far as i've seen. on the bright side, they had stopped doing videos cause Lionheart had got a job as a professional animator, and did work on star vs the forces of evil.
I like all of them there beautiful the fan made stuff is just as good as the real stuff.
Some good fanmade songs are
"Frailty"
"Final eclipse"
"Children of the night" is amazing
No spoilers

the story says luna was mad at her sister for valid reasons. and a ghostly/astral type of parasite usually referred as simply nightmare's infested her and as her sadness and anger fueled the parasite it took over luna mind and body and she become her twisted manipulated self called nightmare moon. ( One offical episode we even see how Celestia woud look like if she was also took over by this parasite as she became Daybreaker )
It's her sadness turned her into a villain

Shout out to all the night owls(people) who stay up all night, Luna appreciates ya

Woops sorry I forgot): but if you haven't already watched lullaby for a princess then please 😢😅
And before I get hit with the inevitable, empty arguments of "I bEt YoU cAnT dO aNiMaTiOnS oR sInG aNy BeTtEr!!11!1"
1) I never claimed to
2) I don't have to be a movie exec or producer or script writer to tell you that some movies are hot garbage nor do I have to be an author to tell you some books suck.

The wizard will be canon but this is not canon with the actual story with the wizard just saying
