Firstly I really doubt Twilight always wanted to have a slumber party, back in canterlot her friends seemed annoy her also the end lesson is wrong they got along because the love they share as friends is stronger than and overcomes their differences. Showing the power of love between friends was always the very soul pf mlp gen 4; something Hollywood never gets right they only get romantic love and just portray all love as romantic, remember how they messed up Sam and Frodo's friendship in the lord of the rings their friendship just came across as gay. Remember how Sam left Frodo on the stairs after he sent him away and in a romantic feeling moment finds the bread he was accused of eating he has a moment when the only h9ng he could have been thinking is "so I didn't eat it." only then does he goes to help his friend. A real friend would have just said to themselves "Fuck it, my friends in danger I love him and am going to help him anyway." This show understood that and always treated it's characters that way. that's the problem I have with the last episode where it seem like Applejack and Rainbow Dash Get together. It's not that I have any problem with gay relationships, it's how it totally betrayed the soul of the show. Rainbow for example didn't pull off the near impassable in sonic rainboom because she was afraid she wold loose a muff diving partner at Pinkies weekly orgies; no she did it for friendship.

the thing about how only the DJ in yellow had the sense to bring a gun is hilarious with the added context that originally Junior only had a baseball bat for the last fight. Monty decided while animating that this was boring and announced without context that he was adding more rockets, and then presumably cooked up the Bat-zooka from scratch to give Junior a way to shoot back. Which kind of says a lot about Monty Oum as well really.

The only one with a second one is when the girl in the Red trailer meets her sister in the Yellow trailer at the end.

You should deffo watch the show, specials & movie especially since S6 is coming out, you'd love it, the show doesn't have songs but I'd deffo start with the movie as it's just basically a retelling of how the show starts etc so you won't be spoiled for the show
