Love how Konohamaru's rasengan is more of a rifle type. Naruto adds different chakras and natures to it and can use it as its own weapon. Minato mainly uses it as a bash type to lock the opponent into a ground after teleporting. Konohamaru seems to charge and condense it and proceed to release it as he makes contact with the opponent for maximum creation of distance.
How, in any way, is his different than anybody else? There's no "rifle" to it at all. And what do you mean? It has the same exact effect every single other user has. It hits the person, they spin a lot and go flying. It's literally the exact same move.

Based on this clip, of all of the irrelevant background characters in the original Naruto. Konahamaru seems like he got the best treatment when being brought to Boruto. He's not op, but he's not weak either. And seems like he really took his studies seriously after a while.

Based on this clip, of all of the irrelevant background characters in the original Naruto. Konahamaru seems like he got the best treatment when being brought to Boruto. He's not op, but he's not weak either. And seems like he really took his studies seriously after a while.

I would not have been disappointed at all if they'd made the show Konohamaru: Naruto Next Generations, instead of Boruto. Like.. he's legit carrying the legacies of Naruto, Hiruzen, and his weapon choice is a nod to Asuma.
Konohamaru seems like a more intriguing character then most of the boruto cast and we already have a connection to the character as we saw him grow in naruto. I think it couldve been really good
