didn't figure it out, but i think the game thinks that stock hood is a part, which can't be customizable on presets (same as custom hoods) or some decal visibility parameter is missing.
1. I manually added decals using "nfs-binary" tool to the decals select menu, and they automatically appeared on opponents cars. 2. You either replace the ones you unlock for quick race (vortex integra, petey pablo eclipse etc.) using the "binary" tool or make them in "customize menu"
@@SplitRicer i see, would you mind explaining how did you manage to add those decals to the decals selection? I messed around inside the frontend with binary but i couldnt figure out how to get them to appear in the decals selection.
@@cloudedpoints They are located in GLOBAL\GLOBALB.LZC, open DBModelParts, then open ANY. You will see decals in the end of the list, copy one of the decals, then rename it to the one with car manufacturer brand (e.g. part label HONDA_WHITE_DECAL, brand label - HONDA, debug name - HONDA; NAME node, value - HONDA_WHITE) imgur.com/a/px3BBzu
why are the hood decals on those cars are invisible though, because theyre not unused unlike the brand decals.
