What are your thoughts on Epic Universe videos?? 🤔
I remember when it was just an empty dirt plot with nothing on it and it was so exciting then and to see how far it's come is making me so excited.
I know, I was looking through the photos and saw the dirt and then what it is now, and I'm like... seriously?! The amount of work in just like 2 years basically is crazy.
@Dillon.Thomas it really is insane how fast they've done what they've done so far! We've been lucky a couple times to pass by on our way to Hard Rock but not always. Not sure what makes the routes the drivers take change 🤔
@@ShiaCharlene Not sure haha. Epic BLVD is up, but I don't think you can drive on it totally. But you can see the finished roads and such, so it's kind of cool to see the infrastructure is coming together outside of the park, too!
My fist impression of the werewolf concept art is that it will be similar to cobras curse at Busch
From everything I'm seeing, it's looking a lot like Time Traveler, same seat layout, similar ups and downs, but I haven't seen all of it and it could be more like Cobra's Curse, but I thought those seats everyone faces the same direction in your cart, it just rotates so you sometimes see the cart in front or behind you. Who knows! We'll see more I'm sure in the coming months.
Curse looks similar to the Mack family spinner at Knott’s.
I cannot believe how BIG that park is going to be - and they recently purchased more land around the side. I think that people will need one complete day (at least in the beginning) for each of the sections. I can see myself just walking around each section, visiting the shops and food places without even going on rides right away.
I am looking forward to a staycation at the Helios - that will be my first stay, and then try the Luna and Nova later. Just guessing here - I agree that the Helios will open with the park, and that there will be EPIC tickets based on the length of stay (I hope.) I am really looking forward to Dark Universe and Potter.
I was kind of annoyed (I guess for lack of better word coming to mind) that they didn't have the arches like the other park, but that Chronous Arch is a nice sub for it, if that is how it used, but either way, I like the way it looks.
I agree, I think Helios will be top dollar - probably around the cost of Poly and Contemp at Disney. One of the nicest things I notice in the pictures - the amount of landscaping they are putting. in - it looks to be a very "green" park.
I was thinking the same thing about that dragon ride - that seems like a low number, and I bet that will be one of the longer lines. The Star coaster must be ridden twice for full effect! LOL.
That's a good observation about the Werewolf ride - same car, or different cars for people you are with - and will they "allow" people to choose.
Suggestion - Theme Park Stop channel has great EPIC updates in case you haven't seen them. Their latest video states that tickets for EPIC may go sale this August/September!

@Sir-Ray right?? The park just keeps going it looks like! Depending on annual passes and such, I could see us doing a lot of exploring days, and not doing rides like you said, but obviously if you only have a day or so, it feels like it'll be ride, ride, ride for us ha.
Helios really looks like it's going to be one of the craziest Park hotels we've seen. Pricing will probably create to poly and contemporary, ya, I mean that value is going to be crazy though. Walk out into the park, express included, etc.
I feel like the chronos is becoming iconic, so I hope it's incredibly tall and just massive as you walk by it.
I really like the greenery, too! I think adding more of that seems like a smart idea, obviously if you want to be absorbed in the world they create you can only do so much, but their current lands lend themselves to be very earthy haha!
I'm hearing rumors that next month we're going to see ticket announcements. I can only assume it's going to be super hard to get tickets and I wonder how it will transpire at the end of the day with availability.
The Isle of Berk ride is going to be super cool, but capacity just does seem low, especially since there isn't a loading situation. I guess timing of the ride itself will play a big role.
I mean you need to do a day time and nighttime ride on stardust racers, and front and back row during both times, too many rides haha!

The Chronos is show not functional. The ‘purple trimmed’ buildings are the entrance where ticketing and security are located. Guest services and such are on the right as you pass through the park from the parking lot and bus loops.

The wolf man coaster seats look at lot like the seats on the (ride to happiness) in Plopsaland.a fantastic ride especially when you start off going slow upside down is amazing.and the spins around the track are something else.
@les707 I think it'll be a very cool designed ride! Looking forward to seeing the track layout and how it finalizes!
Love any and all Epic updates. I totally agree on the size/scale comments - we have driven by a few times, and everything looks massive! The Helios hotel is way bigger than I expected - very curious what the price tag for a room is gonna be on that one. $800+ maybe?!?
Driving by, I'm always shocked with how it all just looks so much bigger than I think anyone knows. The Grand Helios is absurdly big, too. I saw it pretty close and it's HUGEEEE. I imagine it will be pretty consistently $800+ if I had to guess lol

The tent is for the Cirque show that will be featured in the land. I think it was shown in the 1st or 2nd Fantastic Beasts film.
Ah! I haven't seen Fantastic Beasts, just all of the original films. That'll be cool! I feel like with how big the IP is, I wonder if that's enough space to do a show like that, unless it's going to be a first come first serve situation. 🤔
i was going to bring up the queen spinner of shellshock but thought she was too niche lmao, i guess not! I'm too excited for Epic Universe. Will probably not be able to go until 2026, wonder how crazy the crowds will be next year.
She was huge on Tiktok and Instagram! I'm sure she'll make an appearance down here at some point haha. It's going to be interesting to see prices, crowds, etc. I know there's a lot of demand so it only makes sense that it's something to monitor for sure.

@@Dillon.Thomas Their perogative of course, but it seems that park ticket prices are extremely high just to ride roller coasters. Lots of fun things to see, but the focus on the coasters are a little much. Make more creative ride experiences. Just my opinion.
@michaelbeaule1966 they do have more than coasters from what it seems. I think Harry potter is going to have great options, too!

There are 7 rides, plus 2 stage shows, fireworks, and a fountain show that aren't rollercoasters. There are 4 coasters.
You're a little over dramatic. Lol. "Massive hotel". It's only 10 stories tall. Universal has 3 other tower hotels on property that are taller. And with more rooms. Lol.
