@@BassFishingProductions 🫤 seems a little dumb. I read that due to their strength and ability to fight off other fish, this could be the reason why other fish don’t necessarily target them other than their own adult kind that would eat the babies.
The canals that bullseye snakehead live in are polluted with many nasty chemicals such as methylmercury so it would be best to not eat these fish. You can go online and check the FWC recommendations on eating fish from South Florida canals. The pollution is so bad that FWC tells pregnant woman to avoid eating predator fish from many South Florida canals and other bodies of water.
Watching you is the best thing ever like I got so many little puns around me and I have never thought about ever going fishing in them or putting a fish trap until I start watching your videos thank you
There’s a theory that because of the colors of snake heads most fish ignore them. Euthanasia via clove oil can also put a scent on them. I’d be more likely to agree that the smell of ammonia from the dead fish didn’t smell appealing. I’d definitely see what people think as to why they didn’t eat them, not once, but twice in two different setups. As always; love the videos and wish you all the best!
I have a pond and would love some suggestions. Plz make a video on how you do maintenance on your pond(s) and it would be amazing if you made a tutorial. :)
Channa Marulius, or as you guys call it bullseye snakeheads are very expensive exotic fish here even the babies cost so much, and in Florida you guys just feed it to your fish (but thats the right thing to do there for sure)

Predetory fish all r alike..big fish eats small fish..Bass fish eats smaller murrels, murrels eat other small fish and bass..in fish world the bigger the fish it eat smaller fish even of its own kind. Could be that the fish have come to know baby snake head as an attack waiting to happen. They know if they try the parents will attack. Just like crocs in Australia have stopped eating cane toads because they are realizing the threat.
I really enjoy your channel ! I'm 55 but in my youth I too lived in the creeks rivers and bayous , but near Houston Tx . also if were up to me , id take 20 or 30 of every animal and let em go in south Florida . it's like there's a whole new ecosystem evolving there now ! I know it hurts some of the natives , but in a few decades some of the invasive will hybridize and create new fish , lizards , 30 feet long super snakes ! you just need capybaras , tigers and hippos to make it really exciting ! also try frying the snakeheads like catfish , they're good!
Sup Bobby. Great video. Great job getting those babies, should be got the big ones too lol.. Very strange why some fish won't eat them? Maybe full? Hope someone knows. Ty tc
Snakehead is now to have no natural enemy. When the grow to adult size they become the apex predator and the babies were be protect by the adult one at list there are two adults protect them.
Fun video and amazing haul. Not suggesting you break the law but it would be amazing if a baby accidentally fell into pond x or your pacu pond. If it helps, I started this video two separate times and watched four full ads. 🙃
The fish don't eat snakeheads bc their heads are very tough and if cracked the gill part will be sharp, so in our place only fish like climbing perch and freshwater turtles eat them when young, so they really are top predators,if you see my channel profile, you can see i catch them and the turtles eat the fins and tails of big ones and when big their skin is tougher than anything
But here in the state of Maryland there trying to make the Northern Snakehead a game fish meaning that you can only catch and release them or they will put a bag limit on them which I think is ridiculous because there evasive fish just like catfish
I realize some of the waterways and byways you travel to are not as pristine as others.....Have you ever considered putting some of the tallapia on your human dinner table? Some of the other fish you catch are pretty thick fleshed, are any of them suitable for human consumption?

You should probably have tried feeding them alive?

Those first two jewels were beautiful, definitely tank worthy.

Hey guys its me
I love coming to your house on UA-cam ❤
What is the most craziest fish you have ever caught?
Probably an arowana, it was a while back before youtube
The name of snakehead in Indonesia is maruliodes , beautiful
Have a snakehead from Britain you guys are missing out they are so fun to feed and are so fun to keep
They are illegal to keep
They dont eat them cause they are dead, these are not bottom feeding fish, these are predators, they wont eat dead stuff
My fish are trained to eat dead baits too, as you saw in the video they ate the dead jewel right away
I get bass with dead worms, minnows live or dead and even frozen shrimp here in NY
That is wild betta🎣
Love ur videos
I myself use submersible compression explosives to dispatch invasive species in tributaries.
Very nice channel! Following right now! Best wishes from Brazil!!!

Can I ask you question?
I know they are a invasive species but they are a cool fish is love to have one as a pet
That minnow you caught was a golden topminnow I have 2 that I caught in my fish tank
Thank you for removing as many invasives as you will. - Is there a market willing to buy bait fish for thier fish or other tanks?
too bad he isn't living in Indonesia, juveniles of Emperor snakehead 10-15cm can be sold around 1-3$

Because when they grow up they will eat the Oscars

They aren't eating them because they aren't a natural food source they typically see. When you fish you match the pattern of the baitfish in the lake.

One of the only natural predators the snakehead has is adult snakeheads other fish tend not to eat them but adult snakeheads do
Interesting so most effective would be to trap a big snake head then just feed it babys u trap
