Bro nice initiative... Many can learn through this..But IS 516 Standard revise aagiduchu now rebound test is in (IS 516 part 5 sec 4)... Minimum of 6 readings should be taken only at the point of observation(i.e, @ the structure) ... Nine readings should be taken on the two faces of cubes.. What we are obtaining is only rebound number ..For comp. Strength we have to correlate values of rebound number taken from cubes/core and values taken from the structure... Through this test, we cannot obtain exact comp. Strength value.. For periodic checking we can use this. But in case of any major failures core cutting is the correct test.
