“If I ruin all the babes’ night vision, how will they see my hat?” Knowing now this is the statement immediately preceding the thumbnail makes it even better.
It always makes me smile to see how you and your lady get along. Such a patient lady. Although, I think we have different ideas of what constitutes a 'mountain' given that I live at close to 8000 feet.
He was clear that what they’ve got in Oz can only be “generously described as mountains” and he acknowledged explicitly that they’re not comparable to the mountains of the US, Europe, and Asia.
Man, over the years I’ve had to get used to your pattern of video production where you put out a lot of great stuff in a relatively short time and then take a break for a few weeks to a month or a couple months - but that first video back always really gets me stoked. Looks like y’all had a great time, glad you could get away for a bit! Breaks are absolutely necessary, and when it yields more creative content rather than the top-down knife reviews that 99% of knife channels trade on, I say more power to you. Sidenote: UA-cam is weird and as an admittedly very small content creator, I don’t know how people stay focused on it. If it weren’t for the fact that my channel is a passion project between myself and my best friend (who is vastly more organized than me), there’s no way I could commit to a regular schedule. The knife “community” can also be odd at times and the burnout from it is unavoidable I think. Anyway, sorry for the long ass comment 😂 looking forward to your upcoming videos!
Honestly i kept checking your channel every couple days just to check i was still subbed and didnt kiss anything. You're part of my core subscriptions ive had for over a decade here on youtube. Good to see youre having a great time with the misses. Certainly looking forward to the kme videos now. Also strange seeing you in coats and beanies and long sleeves. Forget sometimes that your seasons are opposite from here in America. 100 degrees here where i am or about 30C if i did my mental conversion right.
Always enjoy you videos. I'm surprised you and the Mrs went glamping with your daughter in the hospital. I hope she is feeling better and recovering quickly. Keep up the good work.
Your winter comment hit my heart, it's been around 110°F the past several days here where I am in California. Literally doing an indoor workout while listening to this since my bench and weights are outside on my patio and it's simply too hot Edit: that said, great to see you back sir!
I've been saying it for years that KME needs an upgrade and they finally came to their senses. A little to late because I'm heavily invested in a TSProf Pro, a Hapstone R2, and a WorxSharp Pro. My old KME is now a decoration piece. I'm am though very curious about your upcoming review of the new one. Looking forward. Cheers!
Aye, good to see them improving their rig, though a bit like you, mine doesn't get the work it used to. Primarily only for the scissor-sharpening rig or the odd recurve nowadays. Otherwise I'm freehanding on diamond plates & ceramic.
Oh no, you still get your phone from your sim card provider.. millennials still getting scammed with this one. Its 2,5k then, life would be too cheap if only the apple corp was squeezing you xdddd
Looking forward to a full review of the new KME. Hadn't even heard about it but had been looking at the TSProf because my KME couldn't handle the longer knives. I have kitchen knives and a several other blades that are just too long for my old KME. I'd much rather keep the $$ local if it compares well with the TSProf.
Love me some C&A videos! I’ve even bothered my wife enough times to show her bits of your content, that now she watches it with me. We hope you and T and your entire farm are doing well.
Mobile phones (that's a cell to some) aren't worth getting the latest model, in my opinion. Infact I bought a cheap phone 3 years ago and see no reason to change it. My previous phone I kept for 6 years and only changed as multiple updates were slowing it down.
As someone who is definitely straight, I always thought you were a good (“cool”) looking fellow with an awesome accent. It’s cool you’ve let all us creepy knife nuts get to see her and your relationship. She’s a keeper. Super beautiful. Love your content!
I cannot stop laughing in enjoyment at that ending! Hilarious! Cat yawning while MJK's infamous 25 second long scream at the end of Tool's The Grudge is playing.....that's pure gold. Then to do a spoof of Ferris Bueller's Day off ending "What are you still doing here? The movie is over." Keep up the little additions like that👍
I recently picked up the Maxamet Sage 1, on sale at KC. My 1st Sage, and it is awesome. The Rex121 is on the top of my wishlist. Nice looking climbing "mountains', the proper boots certainly make the hike more enjoyable.
So you enjoy a bit of Jarlsberg cheese from Norway, an extremely nice cheese and those cans looks like cans from Estrella Galicia beer from the province La Coruña in Galicia,Spain, I suppose it's not, but extremely similar.
Cute vid. More adventure vids needed! What was that series years ago? Noob in the bush or something?! That was gold. Cure for that lionsteel: paint stripper on the blade, hydroxide on the aluminium. And bam, silver and micarta gem.
If you like that Exodus Knife and Tool fixie, you might really like the North Arm Knives Mallard. Similar profile but with a blade that's half as thick and twice as broad, in Magnacut and with amazing handle contouring.
Your grandsford axe is more of a felling axe… that thin head won’t split much… you would have had a much better experience buying a couple fiskars axes with different width heads.. here’s is my advice… sell that overpriced axe, and like 6 of your many many expensive knives, and get your wife whatever shoes she needs… happy wife, happy life
@onionwife8507 awesome!!! I have lots of trouble finding boots that fit my feet, but every once in awhile I'll find the perfect pair and it's exciting!! Hope you had fun camping. Me and the family are going next week ( although I wish I could leave my 3 kids with grandma lol)
Glad you guys went on holiday, everyone deserves a getaway now & then. Thanks for your comprehensive review of torches. (It was difficult to type that, being American.) You should have gotten the red & black Lionsteel, I would have. I'm trying to find some St. Nicks Spydercos cause they are red scales & black coated blades. Don't know why so many have brown scales, wood has that color pretty well nailed down. Happy to see you posting, as always & I'm with Tree on the headlamps !
Pete: "HOW COOL IS THAT?" Me: "About as cool as kangaroos in your yard!!!! Holy crap!🤩 You got lots of nice new stuff, Pete! I recently received a custom made fixed blade from Alasdair @ Campania Knives, an Aussie knifemaker and UA-camr. It's the sharpest from the "factory" knife I have ever received!!
It would be interesting to see your take on the Spyderco Leaf Jumper in K390. It’s really similar to to the Stretch 2 but is a bit shorter with about the same sharpened blade length. I like mine, it’s super handy and a bit more comfortable in my hand than the Stretch 2.
Hey, flashlights are same like knives. A lot of nice attributes, and satisfaction. Tint, beam, color rendering, runtime, etc. If u will have 50 usd pls buy a hank light (emisar noctigon) a d4v2 with nichia 519 4500 kelvin or if u want to go aa/nimh battery then d3aa😊
@gergelyalmasi355… thanks for the comment. I had no idea that a customizable light could be bought for a decent price. The D4V2 is on sale right now for $35.68 USD before adding options. I just ordered one after watching a video on recommendations for the LED & Tint options. My bill was $61.83 when I was done but I definitely bought a few extras.
You could employ a live-in cobbler and his family (plus one or two elves) to make shoes exclusively for Teresa for the price of that gear haul. Well played.
I believe the term all the cool kids use is 'Glamping' or Glamour Camping were you don't have to set up a tent and have all sorts of fancy stuff like electricity and goats Not judging, I have been that haggard hobo stumbling around the countryside having been stung by bees, washed away by torrential rain and realising that carrying 100lb of crap through heavily mountainous terrain in -8C winter... its just not a good way to live your life.
Where did you find that colorful White River Exodus? It's not on their site. In 1982, Time magazine named the IBM "personal computer' the man (or machine) of the year. They started around $1500 and had a 4.77mhz processor, 16 (to 256) kb of RAM, and a 5.25 " floppy drive instead of storage.
Poor Tree - she needs a decent pair of shoes that cost approximately $1000 and you're not buying them. Yet you have probably that much in gear on your table!!! LOL.
Visibly, you still have fun in bed ! Not for the same reason than 10 years ago, but anyway, it's nice to see you still enjoy it at your venerable age !
One of the great philosophers of our time and still, the best knife channel.
“If I ruin all the babes’ night vision, how will they see my hat?”
Knowing now this is the statement immediately preceding the thumbnail makes it even better.
“Knife equivalent of a turd”😂
Sage 5 is my favorite Spyderco. I can't wait for the Salt series version in Magnacut to arrive later this year.

@@TXLogic Yeah, I got that. I was just teasing him a bit.
@npenick66 hey don't pick on the Aussie or our mountains. Our mountains were old before the rest of the world came out of the ocean. 😂❤
Seeing your breath indoors in England just means it's September

Nice round up. Good to have you back. I didn't know the laser works with dogs, cats yes....
Thanks for the lazar tip. My dogs do exactly what they are told , when they are good and ready .
Nitecore and the pastoralist, excellent combo 😂
That's hilarious about the laser and the dogs!
BRO....excited for the maximet review along with the infamous REX 121.
Great idea using the laser to steer the dogs! I’ll use that.
Glad you made it home safe. Best of health to you all
Saw the new KME on their site a few days ago. Nothing on UA-cam on it yet so very jazzed that you have it!!
Ionsteel magnacut improved. It's now 63. Also edge pro got an upgrade too.
Love your use of the arkfeld Pete! I use mine to get the cat out of the garage...

Nice stuff Pete. How lucky are we to have the Flinders so nearby? Rugged and spectacular.
Glad you're back mate.
If AlMar dropped the flipper and went back to thumb studs, I'd buy them. Yes yes, they are now made in China.
