if you want to get nice and crispy lechon, you must go early for the freshly cocked, and you have a chance to get dinuguan (pork blood stew) try it one of the best.. =)
one thing also not all the part of the skin of the lechon is crispy, mostly the upper head part thats the most crispy, but always get early to make sure to get what you want =)
Thanks heaps Bryan. Yes, I’ve learned that now, that once the lechon has been sitting around for awhile, especially under that big fan, that the skin will loose its crispiness. But the pork was still super juicy and delicious 😋
@@bryanborromeo3822yes, I’ve learned that twice now, the second time being right now! Always ask if the ice cubes are made from tap water or mineral water and hope that they know and tell the truth, lol! 😄
Always take extra because we all know that girls will always take some 😅 looks delicious. Was it really 2 days later? 😮 You both had the same clothes on 🙈
Learn how to be respectful to the vendors. Keep your comment to yourself, never let the business owner hear what you have to say. Please share your Lechon to your beautiful partner. She may not be hungry earlier but we Filipinos get hungry every 10 minutes 😊😅😮😂❤❤❤stay hydrated and only eat Lechon once a week. It’s high in cholesterol and sodium. When was your last medical check up. I notice you are breathing heavily 😮🧐😐
Hi Bert. I appreciate what you are saying from your Filipino point of view, but I don’t hear you defending what the foreigner has to deal with. When tricycle riders try to charge us P500 for a P50 ride. I tip the honest tricycle rider, but I will not ride with a dishonest driver and most of them are dishonest! And you say, “keep my comment to myself”. Why do you say that? I’ll tell you why. Because I speak the truth and the truth hurts. But in this case, maybe the lechon sellers will learn from what I say to them. They certainly won’t learn anything from Filipino customers, because Filipino customers don’t tell the truth and so the service remains inadequate, in my humble opinion. But I do thank you for your comments Bert, because it’s always good to learn more about how Filipinos prefer what to hear, or in this case, what not to hear. But as Jesus tells us, “the truth will set you free” so maybe a bit of honesty will help, because I think k Filipino vendors need to know why I won’t buy their product so hopefully, they can improve in their business. This is only my humble opinion and I appreciate your opinion too, because I love the Filipino people 🥰
Oh….& you asked me when my last medical check up was. It was weeks ago. I was supposed to come to the Philippines in January, but had to postpone it for 6 months because just before Christmas, I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer that had to be operated on immediately. They only just saved my life! So yes, I’m breathing a bit heavy at the moment for that reason. In fact, I’m dealing with a few unpleasant after effects from the operation. I didn’t particularly like your comment about my breathing, but that’s because the truth hurts sometimes. But I thank God that I’m still alive for a little bit longer 🥰🙏
@@love_local you make alot of money go back to Canada or Ohio we don’t need expat/ foreigners like you. If you think $5 extra for a tricycle ride then … be it. Just don’t disrespect Filipinos that are making a living. Have a nice day kababayan. MABUHAY ang Pikipinas 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🧐
I couldnt agree more with your replies..My wife is filipino and i hv been there many times..They gouge you to death until you basicalky get mad enough to not let em anymore. Once you hv been around an area a few days you know every trick and scheme they hv and can beat them agead of tine with there schemes..

and always bring your own water, coz tap water and selling juices in the street not all of them are safe to drink, i hope that will help

You supposed to be there visiting your LDR but all of a sudden you’re a damn vlogger.
It’s a long story, but in spite of vlogging, she is my priority 😊
Everyone has a bad day and yet she gave you a smile
Yup 😊

😂 yes, we laughed at that too, that we could have pretended we’d filmed all that in one day as we’re wearing the same clothes, lol 😂
Great little video and I appreciate your sampling. I will be there in a few months. How far away are the two markets?
@@dave_in_floridathank you. The distance between Talisay and Carcar City Market is 30km and takes 58 minutes by car 😃
