TALISAY OR CARCAR FOR CEBU PORK LECHON?
What a coincidence that someone from my girlfriend's family shared a post about this restaurant today, don't think it was the same part of Cebu though so maybe they have a few, it was Cordova and 249 pesos... My first thought was the heat 🙈 so was it hot ??
@@cryptorocketeer yes, the food was nice and hot because there was such a fast turn-around of customers that they were constantly bring out more food to the buffet trays. Really filling and super cheap!
Ooohhh a long one 😊 I'll watch it tomorrow mate 👍
@@cryptorocketeer Yeah, it is a bit of a long one, this one…..and just to let you know that after this Saturday’s video, I’ll be posting only on Wednesday am (Tuesday pm for you I think?) for the next 2 or 3 weeks, because I’ll be away videoing a NZ series which I’ll be starting in the new year. Hopefully it’ll be a topic you’ll enjoy as it’s definitely influenced by England (NZ being a British colonial country) 😁
@@love_localcool 👍 I'll be looking forward to seeing those videos mate.
@@cryptorocketeercheers mate. It’s going to be interesting to see how it goes, but I’m really excited to do something focussing here in NZ and maybe Australia and if it really takes off subscription-wise, then maybe back in my home country of the UK! 😃
@@love_locali get the feeling that you was not impressed with the breakfast, especially the heat 😅
@ Awww, c’mon….I was being as polite as I could be about this “american breakfast” that had (English) marmalade & (untoasted) toast, lol!!! And I already know that you know about the luke warm food served in this beautiful SE Asian country, heh heh. But it was passable and honestly, the other two meals at this establishment were really enjoyable by filipino standards, so I was happy 😉
Anne is getting prettier every day...
@@rendalevelasco9120 Thank you kindly, good sir 🥰
nice video again. So typically Filippino like ' sorry Mam Sir, Fries are not availiable at the moment' 🙂 I love the imperfection there. At least sometimes 🙂
@@tullioserafin4511 thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, I’ve learned that it’s all part of the Filipino culture/character. Never expect too much. And in this case, even though I wondered why they didn’t tell me there were no fries when I ordered them (maybe she didn’t know?), I was super impressed in how fast my garlic rice arrived (and I love garlic rice, lol)! 😄🙌
Always Love your Content. The Vista shots are so Amazing.
@@CosmoTigato Thank you so much my friend. Your kind words are real encouragement for me as I learn more about videoing & editing! 😃🙌
Bro, like me you love your food 😊 and enjoy trying different food, and in the Philippines it's affordable compared to NZ, enjoy
@@recardobrown Oh yes Bro, I do love my food! And even though I’m now back in NZ, I’ve still got more filipino food vlogs to be posting before Christmas! And speaking of being back in NZ now…..I’m thinking what types of videos to create to promote our beautiful country and its food. So I’m going to do a massive series called “Love Local Pies” (keeping with the name of my YT channel) to promote the good ol’ “Kiwi Meat Pie”. I’m going to start that within the next 2 to 2 weeks going around NZ’s best pie bakeries and as I know you love your food too Recardo, I wondered if you might like to join me in pie tasting at a bakery in Hamilton? I’m thinking “LunchBar Eighty8” &/or any other Hamilton pie bakeries you might suggest? So are you up for a meet-up in Hamilton to join me, at my expense, to taste some mighty-fine Kiwi Pies, my Bro? 😃🙌

Like in two previous videos, I didn’t think I was going to like the Jollibee spaghetti because I thought it would be too sweet and I don’t have a sweet tongue, but I love it! It’s not as sweet as I had expected 🥰🙌
@@love_local I saw a few of your videos and I can see how you like the Talisay lechon compared to Carcar lechon.. I use to work in I.T. Park in Cebu, I hope Anne showcase the area in Balamban showing the whole city of Cebu...
@ Thank you very much my friend. Yes, I have already found a lot of filipino dishes that I like, especially filipino home-cooking. I love dishes like adobo and my favourite at the moment is Chicken Afritada. Anne’s mum cooked it for me when we were on Nonoc Island and I love it! And the only time I’ve passed through Balamban was when we travelled back to Cebu City from Negros. I’m actually back in New Zealand now, but when I return to the Philippines, I will definitely check out Balamban, so thank you for your recommendation and please stay connected so that when I’m there, maybe you can advise me on places to visit 🥰🙌🇵🇭

The sights are beautiful, but the room looks so small. I believe you can get a better room. My advice is to keep moving to different locations to see new resorts along the way so you can change the environment. Bohol it’s one of the iconic island 🏝 but everyone likes going to Boracay or Palawan for some reasons. What’s your plan next? Are you going to take her to New Zealand? Maybe the sissig was with egg mixed in it, instead of the sizzling sissig, that happened to us when I ordered to take away, very small and not great taste, was also disappointed 😔

@@love_local I didn't stay long to be honest, I've lost interest in their adventures since I travelled to Philippines, nothing personal though, just not been watching anything apart from your channel and some sports stuff. What OP ? Maybe you told me and I didn't pick up on it, hope everything is good 😊
@@cryptorocketeer yeah, I’m with you on not watching their videos so much now, but for different reasons. I’m just working hard on research for the type of video vlog I share once I’ve used up all my Philippines videos, until I return. And in January this year, I had an emergency op to have my prostate removed as it was full of aggressive cancer. That’s why, going to the Philippines just 6 months after the op was one heck of a challenge. I did tell you about it, but maybe you didn’t see that comment?
@@love_localok that sucks mate, I do recall something now but maybe I'd had a few red horse 😅 I actually have an appointment on the 18th with the urologist for some checks, I did a PSA test before I travelled to Philippines but nothing came up, but they want to do an x-ray and some other stuff apparently 😢 hopefully nothing to worry about but I do have some issues with peeing 🤦♂️ glad you are better now mate 😊
@@cryptorocketeer HaHa….yes, that red horse does tend to affect one’s memory, lol! Well if nothing came up on your PSA, you should in theory, be okay. When they first checked my PSA, it was 14 which is considered very high. And within 2 months it went up to 18, so yeah, my cancer was aggressive. But they nailed it. Still dealing the the after effects, but in time, everything will hopefully be back to normal (ish). I do hope everything for you will be okay and that the peeing isn’t anything to do with what I had.

Roughly chop the onions and mushrooms and fry them briefly in the pan. Sprinkle the flour over the rabbit. Deglaze the pan with the beer and stir everything well, season with thyme and bay leaf.Add water until the entire rabbit is covered. Add the balsamic vinegar, game stock and sugar.
