    4.33qt in the manual... also suggests 10w-40

      Not in my 2020 it doesn’t say that. It suggests 4.1 qt and the same oil I used in this video.

      @@badass1g Lol I had to check, cause I was worried after buying an oil change kit. It says both 10W-40 and 15W-50 will work, solid video, I'm gonna put a label or engrave my mileage in my oil filter as you did for your oil change, good idea!

    I just got a 2021 R1 and was debating on doing the first service myself. I did my R3 service’s myself but the R1 is a lot more expensive bike so I wasn’t for sure if I wanted too. So thanks for the video I’ll definitely do the first service.

      For sure buddy it’s simple and saves a lot of money plus the hassle of having to take it in. I’d rather use the money for mods 🤟. Enjoy that new bike!

    Just got a 2024 r1. Question what pictures do i send in or whatever because i got that 5 year extended warranty & lady said on the phone just write down what u did how many hours it took and follow what the owner manual says. She said a paper in the mail will be like a log book and log what u did to show proff. I only say this bc my friend ducati v4 after 7 months is not doing well with backfire and ect. So i wanna be on the safe side by going 2 the dealer ship but they say 350$ for the first service.so i find your video that u said i can take pics and what not as proof and i dont wanna spend all that money in the Stealership lol. So where do i take pictures or log what i do so, God forbid engine blows up i show them what i used how many hours it took and what not? Thanks 4 the video btw!

    Bro did you just say clutch fluid? For the love if god sir… do you see the Metal braided cable coming from your left hand lever… your clutch… see how it doesn’t have a reservoir… what you pointed at is the rear brake fluid reservoir.

    I had mine done at the dealer because there's more required than an oil change on the service. Like the sync as well.
    Have you had any issues with running no cat? I have an Akrapovic slip-on and link pipe.. but I'm not sure how much damage I'm doing without ECU flash.

      @@badass1g no just noticing them on tank i dont know exactly what from, im very careful not to put metal near it like keys, idk if my gloves are the issue as well, just very light scratches being noticed and its a brand new bike but it was a floor model so probably the problem, only had it for a few days guess just have to deal with it

    • @badass1g
      @badass1g  2 роки тому +1

      @@gsxrveli yea the paint scratches very easy. It’s only a 1 stage paint sadly. The wheels scratch SO easy. When I wash the bike I use the power washer to get everything off, then I use a shammy to dry it. If you use anything else you’ll get swirl marks. Try not to hand wash it with anything it can easily scratch as you see.
