In today’s fiercely competitive market landscape, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) often grapple with the challenge of expanding their reach and visibility. Recognizing this hurdle, the Government of Gujarat has introduced a transformative initiative - the Market Development Assistance for MSME manufacturing sector participation in exhibitions, spanning various levels from local to international.
This scheme, facilitated by the Industries & Mine Department, is designed to empower MSMEs in Gujarat by providing crucial support to participate in exhibitions, both domestically and internationally. Under Resolution No. SSI-102020-332349-CH, this scheme is active from 07/08/2020 to 06/08/2025.
Key Highlights:
State Level Exhibition: Assistance of 75% of the rent paid or a maximum of INR 50,000, whichever is lower.
National Level Exhibition: Assistance of 75% of the rent paid or a maximum of INR 1 lakh, whichever is lower.
International Level Exhibition (Within India): Assistance of 75% of the rent paid or INR 2 lakhs, whichever is lower.
International Level Exhibition (Outside India): Assistance of 60% of the rent paid or INR 5 lakhs, whichever is lower.
Eligibility and Application Process:
MSMEs in the manufacturing sector in Gujarat.
Applications must be submitted online within six months from the last date of participation.
Verification, scrutiny, and sanctioning are managed by District Industries Centres (DICs).
