FINALLY! We've all been waiting YEARS for a Kyle Gallner HitB episode. Glad to see RLM still listens to their fans, and gives us what we all have been asking for. Sarcasm aside, he's actually quite good. I looked him up after I saw him in Band of Robbers, and realized he's good every time I've seen him.
I love to think that the film crew that Mike was working with was intentionally fucking with him. Like they saw him drive off to the gas station and were giggling to themselves like "ok he's in the bathroom, quick get on the radio and say we're coming back"
I remember seeing Kyle Gallner in an episode of The Walking Dead and thinking "oh hey, that's the guy who played Impulse on Smallville" and since then i've seen him pop up in a bunch of different things everywhere. I really hope he sees this video, this was great 😂
Mike has become what he hates. An old man saying, "oooh what is this movie on Vudu with Tom Selleck and Bruce Willis". I just hope they forgive Rich Evans for crossing the striker's line.
@@CraigTalbert yeah, unfortunately. They bought it or merged with what it was 6idh years ago maybe? But you used to be able to buy blurays where you got the digital version free on Vudu before that.

A few weeks ago, I saw the Flash. And I decided to look up who played him on Smallville. It was this guy, and I recognized him as the boyfriend from Smile. I then went on a deep dive on his filmography for some reason, thinking I’d be the only person to ever do so. …or so I thought. 🙃
Meanwhile i've seen the passenger and just today Dinner in America and i can't thank the boys enough for those tips. Both films equally fantastic, Gallner glorious in both.
I think the first thing I ever saw Kyle in was The Haunting in Connecticut, which is a decent horror film from what I remember. Dude definitely plays a pained character very well
They just got through the pandemic and now there's a strike. Next thing you know, Moonfall is gonna happen but for real and THAT will be blamed for movies.
There’s still movies coming out that wrapped up filming last year or the beginning of this year. They’re just not reviewing them😂. They haven’t consistently reviewed new releases for a couple years now
I keep hearing people talk about how smaller movies are dying, so it's nice to see you guys bring light to small movies that still exist is just that they're not in theaters because movie tickets are expensive
These reviews also give a new light with modern American indie films. A24 to me is juuust there but smelling their own farts while most great "indie" films in other countries are distributed by big companies in their respective countries. So a genuine modest budget film wave distributed by Freevie type streaming services is welcoming and hopeful to tear away from the overly budgeted indie feel films that Hollywood exploited
It's funny, he is such a random actor, but he is very recognizable to me as well. I somehow knew exactly who this video was about upon seeing the title and knew he was in Jennifer's body and Veronica Mars.
This is so weird. I literally just finished The Passenger and immediately looked up Kyle Gallner on UA-cam to find out more about him because his performance was great in this movie. And this video popped up! A triple feature spectacular!!!
The Kyle Gallnathon we didn't know we needed. I always think of him as "guy in his 20's with a teenage mustache." Gallner is a great actor that seems to have great range and is just waiting for the right role to break him out more. I'm so glad you guys went this route for your video. We sure as hell didn't need another Barbie or Oppenheimer review. If I see another "hot take" on either I'm going to implode. I despise how much energy and bandwidth have went into talking about those films for clicks when there are great independent and small budget films being made that get lost in the mindless churn of the streaming services. You're doing god's work with your Gallnathon. I just wish Mike would have grown a tiny little mustache for the occasion.
Its crazy how you definitely know this guy from at least one thing. I'm not a horror guy so I didn't really recognize this dude from anywhere but there was something familiar, and it all made sense when Mike mentioned his role in Smallville, of course he was the little Impulse!
I watched The Passenger recently and enjoyed it, and thought Kyle Gallner was great in it. Very layered for what could easily have been a one note character. Glad he’s getting some love here.
Honestly Gallner was the one standout of the rebooted nightmare movie to me beyond the star obviously. I did laugh at his emo face mixed with the joy division shirt but I thought he was good and always remembered him. Glad he's getting some attention.

Me, personally, I felt like they explained too much.
I'd rather watch 2 hours of them staring at each other uncomfortably.
I KNOW WHAT THAT IS
RedLetter inspires me.. My parents said if i get 50K followers They'd buy me a professional camera for recording..begging u guys , literally
Begging.
The video descriptions are one of my favorite aspects of RLM lately.
Mike talks about himself like he talks about elderly people on BotW
I love to think that the film crew that Mike was working with was intentionally fucking with him. Like they saw him drive off to the gas station and were giggling to themselves like "ok he's in the bathroom, quick get on the radio and say we're coming back"
I was worried for him so I'm pleased it was a nice positive show which Kyle's mum might enjoy...the real one he didnt try to drown...
“How long has he been here? 10 hours? Alright good now we cut the entire scene”
Jay's hairstyles deserve their own spotlight episode at this point.
I cant wait till several years from now when we get the Kyle Gallner triple feature spectacular part 2
Gotta get Jay's picture up there with Dick the birthday boy.
I remember seeing Kyle Gallner in an episode of The Walking Dead and thinking "oh hey, that's the guy who played Impulse on Smallville" and since then i've seen him pop up in a bunch of different things everywhere. I really hope he sees this video, this was great 😂
always love to hear Jay and Mike talk about my favorite actor, Kyle Gallner
A Dinner in America is so good. Thank u RLM for putting me onto this actor. Going to see Strange Darling tonight!
Mike has become what he hates. An old man saying, "oooh what is this movie on Vudu with Tom Selleck and Bruce Willis". I just hope they forgive Rich Evans for crossing the striker's line.
Can’t wait for the next Kyle Gallner half in the bag catch up episode
Theres something very wholesome about mikes love of vudu
Hey, don't knock it, Vudu is a great service. As much as I don't usually buy/rent digital movies, on the rare occasion I do - it's through Vudu.
Wholesome / slightly passionate
He’s such a boomer
Isn't it Walmart?
@@CraigTalbert yeah, unfortunately. They bought it or merged with what it was 6idh years ago maybe? But you used to be able to buy blurays where you got the digital version free on Vudu before that.
The other day I caught part of a movie my parents were watching and stopped in my tracks because I was like “wait I know that guy!”
Turns out they were watching What Comes Around, and I DID know that guy!
I’ve never opened the description of their videos, but for some reason I did on this one and it reminded me why I love this channel so much.
Oh you’re in for a treat if you look at the last year or so of their description sections 😂. It’s been a spiral into complete madness.
Kyle Gallner better be careful that he isn't mistaken for a tiny toy skeleton.
Once again I asked, and Red Letter Media provided 🙏 thank you Rich Evans, King of the Gods
Where did you ask?
@@CraigTalbertIt's a meme on the fact that nobody would ask for this
@@veiddimaddur8354 Ohh...
I think the first thing I ever saw Kyle in was The Haunting in Connecticut, which is a decent horror film from what I remember. Dude definitely plays a pained character very well
I can’t believe I didn’t realize until now the effect the actors strike would have on this channel
They just got through the pandemic and now there's a strike. Next thing you know, Moonfall is gonna happen but for real and THAT will be blamed for movies.
There’s still movies coming out that wrapped up filming last year or the beginning of this year. They’re just not reviewing them😂. They haven’t consistently reviewed new releases for a couple years now
@@jabrokneetoeknee6448 Yeah, they've been burnt out with theaters for several years now.
I keep hearing people talk about how smaller movies are dying, so it's nice to see you guys bring light to small movies that still exist is just that they're not in theaters because movie tickets are expensive
This actually could be a fun format for a spotlight on various actors and their progressive work
your sentence was so great until I hit the misplaced and baggage-laden word "progressive"
@@odigityyour sentence was good until I hit the extended and overly verbose word "baggage-laden"
@@odigity is "baggage-laden" like "bin-laden"?
These reviews also give a new light with modern American indie films. A24 to me is juuust there but smelling their own farts while most great "indie" films in other countries are distributed by big companies in their respective countries. So a genuine modest budget film wave distributed by Freevie type streaming services is welcoming and hopeful to tear away from the overly budgeted indie feel films that Hollywood exploited
Dropped into the comment section in the hope of seeing a comment from Kyle, or his agent, or lawyers......
They showed it briefly but definitely check out Dinner in America. By far my favorite Kyle Gallner performance.
I was hoping they would talk about it more, that was one of my favorite movies of the last couple years.
I was really hoping they would talk about it. It's genuinely one of my favorite movies of the past decade.
Kyle Gallner is my favorite actor... I've never seen a movie with him, but I'm a fellow Kyle... so that's all I need.
The Kyle Gallnathon we didn't know we needed.
I always think of him as "guy in his 20's with a teenage mustache."
Gallner is a great actor that seems to have great range and is just waiting for the right role to break him out more.
You just know "legacy artist" is gonna start showing up in very defensive interviews.
I love how Mike always prints off his notes like a true old.
“Legacy artists” I must forever remember that now! Lol you guys are iconic
Only like...ten seconds in. But i gotta say: Jay, your hair is GOALS.
