Absolutely amazing display of cooperation by both couples. Jackie defended herself brilliantly while calling out (I've got this -- I'm OK) until she felt the need for assistance, chortling for Shadow, who appeared instantly. The ravens were equally amazing, but I'm always on the side of J & S, ha ha! Great video!
Amazing how Jackie stood her ground and would not be fooled into moving off the eggs. Shadow, was adorable when he stepped on the nest and kept looking at her! ❤️ Thank you for the video, Cali Condor! Be blessed! 🙏😻🦅🥚🥰🥚🦅💕

That was intense! Those ravens can be clever but not as clever as Mama Jackie. She knew what they were trying to do. Shadow's rescue was impressive. Once it was over, I could just hear Jackie telling him how scared she had been for their eggs. She needed a break after all of that stress so I'm glad she let Shadow take some incubation time. One of them is enough for them but what you don't realize is that, they were trying to distract her from the nest, the other crow would've taken the chicks if she chased the one annoying her and the mother eagle knew what they were trying to do, so she stood her ground until her mate arrived.

That gang of punk ravens are no match for our Mama Jackie and Papa Shadow!! Even though it felt like eternity, Shadow was running them off with his impressive aeronautical defensive skills (I could watch him soar all day) in just over 1 minute after Jackie sounded her "Emergency Alarm" calling for her hubby 3:53 Poor dear. She was so stressed out afterward - Shadow knew his wife's nerves were "shot".....Came over to her side after ensuring the gang was no longer an immediate threat to check on her. In addition to never being covered with snow and having my spouse put fish on my back while pregnant, I was never mobbed by ravens! Lol! Eagles have it rough!
My Goodness! Thank the Lord!! I was on the waitlist on your Cam 1 to share comments. I finally found the answer before next six long days to come! The eagles will take turns to find their own food and breaks from hatching! Thanks for doing such grateful camera! I LOVE animals, and feeding them all kinds!
Hello dear friend , hope you're have a nice day over there with you uh ..
Same to you!!😉🙏
@@Stellabutterfly2326 you're welcome dear it's my pleasure meeting you here I'm from Denver Colorado what about you uh
Just discovered the live cam and I love it. ❤
SO enjoy your videos. Please keep them up, I have learned so much.
Hello dear friend , hope you're have a nice day over there with you uh ..
It's absolutely fascinating to hear both species of avian use their specific sounds to communicate. The ravens with their confirming 'hoo's to edge closer and the signature screeches of the bald eagle to rally the spouse.
Jackie had always been a fierce protector! Those wings!!! 😍🦅🥚
Awesome site and vids are soooo soothing for my soul...IMHO the best part is it’s in California,
Bash all you want but those mountains are a treasure...
Jackie was fierce! Not long after her call for help Shadow arrives and the ravens decide to leave. Does my heart good ❤
Wow these ravens have been really intense this year, they must be very hungry. Well done Momma Jackie and Dad Shadow.
I bet Shadow got an earful Abt how long it took him to come help.
Momma going to protect those babes
Maybe that is my impression, but it looks like this year the ravens visits are happening much more often than last season and more aggressively. I hope they learned their lesson and will give up in visiting the nest again.
They make a wonderful team. Great job Shadow& Jackie 🙂
Yes! Shadow!😊
Good job nice job you two.
Dear Cali Condor, I finally got to watch your video. Golly, the rascals were really bent on an egg snack but Jackie, as it is to be expected, rose above their distracting manoeuvres. Hooray for the intervention of the Lord of Fort Shadow! You know, I wonder how far into the valley her screams can be heard :)
WOW! Those Ravens are relentless! They’ve got their nerve messing with the large Bald Eagles! I hope the eggs didn’t get cracked during all the wing slaps. After Jackie took off for a much needs break, you could hear the Ravens in the background probably cursing her! Way to go Jackie & Shadow! 🦅 🦅 🥚🥚🥰👍🏻
I got caught up by that wonderful smile of yours...? How are you doing today...?
Wow shadow is such a good nurturing father.! So awesome to see this!
I became intense just watching this....lol. Jackie let out that distress call and man I was eyeballs on the screen and looking for Shadow. These are awesome!
WOW! Another nail biter! I almost jumped thru my computer screen! Those pesky ravens! Ugh! But I love how Jackie knew what they were up to and didn’t leave her eggs! Then Shadow comes in to save the day! Such a devoted dad and partner. Him coming close to her near the end as to say, “I’ve got you babe” was priceless. I just love them!
I got caught up by that wonderful smile of yours...?
@@peterrobbery Thanks!
What a beee-yooo-tee-ful mama!!! So dedicated!!!
This touched my heart this morning. The fear, strength, protection and love were amazing. These birds are truly special ❤️
That gang of punk ravens are no match for our Mama Jackie and Papa Shadow!!
Even though it felt like eternity, Shadow was running them off with his impressive aeronautical defensive skills (I could watch him soar all day) in just over 1 minute after Jackie sounded her "Emergency Alarm" calling for her hubby 3:53
Poor dear. She was so stressed out afterward - Shadow knew his wife's nerves were "shot".....Came over to her side after ensuring the gang was no longer an immediate threat to check on her. Then the ultimate reward: nest time brooding for Shadow 😁
I was holding my breath!!! Now I'm hooked!
Hello dear friend , hope you're have a nice day over there with you uh ..
