The first stop of Chuck E. Con 2019!
This location is at 7750 Scott St, White Settlement, TX, and opened in December 1982 as a Showbiz Pizza Place then closed in 1985. CEC took over the former SPP location in August of 1987 opening with a Rocker Stage then later transferring to be the first 2-stage. This store remained fully phase 3 with a 2-stage until June 2020 when it closed due to CEC filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Song:
September- Munch's Make Believe Band (Audio: • September by Chuck E. ... )
Outro Song:

I remember going to the Comfort Inn hotel which was near this location in 2018 or 2019 I believe. I always wanted to go to that Chuck E Cheese's when I was in that hotel, but I sadly ended up not going to this Chuck E Cheese as the next day after I went to this hotel, we left to a Seafood restaurant in a town an hour away from this. Sad to see this location closed and destroyed inside.
Wow!
I just watched a video of this place destroyed inside and abandoned. It’s so surprising to see what once was and how it was destroyed by corrupted people. RIP
I know what video you are talking about. It is indeed sad to see how this store had became. It’s even sadder the fact that it’s a place that I have visited and my mind re-enacts the visuals of walking in for the first time. The loss of this store truly is a sad one.
Im so glad i found this video, i lived in weatherford tx, and this was my local cec back then, i remember in my birthday we went to toys r us (infront of Cec, both sadly closed) and got a telescope, I vaguely remember getting this 2006 cec lunchbox and a whack hammer, really nice reading comments and knowing this place was a memory for ppl, I am also wondering how old that location is
Cool! Also by the exterior you can tell it was a former showbiz.
Yes.
@@wikkidpiggzcec3329 have any idea what they did with the show?
Not only the first 2-stage,It was also a former showbiz! It still has the original Showbiz Pizza Place Salad Bar :0
OMG I just realized that, that's pretty cool!
so that means they demolished the Rocker stage, what, late 1991 *since the 2 stage began being installed in other locations in 1992. iirc March of '92 was when it officially became an option for stores looking to upgrade their show.)
wow i had no idea those 2 lage pasqually posters existed i knew the smaller ones did but i all ways thought they were prototypes never knew they made it in a location and sad to see the first 2 stage now closed
RIP Chuck E. Cheese's White Settlement, TX 1987-2020
IKR THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD LOCATON
SAMEE@@pgamerminecraftgarrysmodro7643
I loved this stage and it was in Texas the amount I could of gone if I just knew it was in Texas!
It’s really all tore all to hell inside now. Yawl should go by and peak inside. There’s only one green chair from a booth in there now facing the window.
It’s now becoming a plasma center.
Stayed at the Comfort Inn across the street in HS when my programming team came up to Lockheed Martin for programming competitions. There used to be a great little area for kids here with not just CEC, but a Flight Deck entertainment center and Toys R Us both across the street. All are gone now, and replaced by businesses that while they may stick better, are far more boring. I never went inside any of them even when they were all around because I didn't get the chance to leave the hotel, but even I can tell how much this part of town probably meant to a lot of current teens and young adults.
This is where CECU 1991 was recorded!
Fun fact: this is were pasquallys pizza training tape was filmed
0:45: the rare phase 4 art: Cheese Stop
This is phase 2 art.
Still can't believe this and Wilmington closed
I know. It’s a shame.
Looks like a 3 stage from a distance
It’s acutally a 2 stage
But ur kinda right it does
It was a 3 stage at one point
@@Stitch_150 now i know i didn't know much then
I REMEMBER GOING THERE EVERY YEAR JUST TO SEE THE ANAMATRONICS@@nay7710
This store is destroyed if you visit to this day it’s quite sad
It is sad.
@@wikkidpiggzcec3329 the thing is they just trashed history
I can't go to that location eny more?
yeah i loved that location a lot as a kid i remember just sitting down near the animatronics and just watching them for a long time
RIP
One of the best stores I’ve been to. 😔
they did a number 12 on that place now
what?
This location is no more now
Isn't it supposed still open?
Nope hasn't been since either May or June of last year
@@ryanclifton7033 what the heck NO!!!
Yeah, it unfortunately closed in June 2020.
Doesn’t this a prototype phase for interior design
if it was wow i was lucky to live next to it acutally about 5 min away and i still do
Sadly Closed and destryoed
Yes, unfortunately.
its now state farm
This location sadly closed down.
Still standing but vandals have gotten inside of it and trashed the place
@@ryanclifton7033 how is that? It is totally locked up tight.
It wasn't at one point
@@ryanclifton7033 is the show still in there?
It’s this very first 2 stages store?
It was, yes.
Phase 1
No way it’s impossible
What do you mean there is nothing Phase 1 in this store?
its prototype phase 4 posters
I was dumb then now Ik it’s phase 4 prototype
The location closed :/ :(
@@illinoismallexploring4419 White Settlement is the most upsetting store we lost in 2020. Imagine a CEC with PROTOTYPE posters and for 90s training tape to be filmed there but just for it to be gone :(
