Whoever was Chuck E cheese in that ShowBiz Pizza clip did not care
I thank Vestavia location was apart of all our childhood 😢those photos was like a time capsule
A bit confused what you mean by that (unless you mean all people in Birmingham) but yeah, this was definitely a piece of my childhood even if I didn't go much.
@@ItzaRob yeah us in Birmingham my bad idk why in my head it sounded good lol, but then I should have thought about not everyone is Birmingham that visited that location and plenty others have and will see your vid. I appreciate you posting this though!
This is an increidible video bro, this could be history
That’s a rare Chuck Walkaround with that tophat
“Oh It’s Mrs. Coke Cola” I Love This Channel
The Location in Roebuck closed because the land was sold to Walgreens. Walgreens knocked the old plaza down to build their building. Some Show stuff may have also been transferred to the newly acquired Tallahassee franchise location as were much of the games.
As a BTW, There was an original 3rd location in Birmingham you may want to look into: The Midfield ShowBiz location! At the time, I was a Game Room Attendant in the Roebuck location and I helped bring old games and equipment there to be auctioned off. Later, Midfield became a Western Auto Parts.
I’ve had this conversation before, but Midfield is considered its own area and therefore isn’t part of the Birmingham locations. That’s certainly some interesting info you got there though. I’ve always wondered what happened to the Roebuck bots…
hey! sorry for the late response. I was too busy getting research for joliet 😆. anyway, fun fact, phase 2 chuck e cheese is called chuck e cheese pizza because they decided to use showbiz pizza too. so merging, the name was chuck e cheese's pizza. neat i guess. can't wait for ashville and joliet!
I'd heard about the "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza" name, but not that it was associated with phase 2 and why it was called that. Thanks for the info!
Edit: I see a comment that mentions the dance floor on my notifications, but not on the video or being held in review. I must've messed things up when trying to change the settings for comments held for review.
@@ItzaRob oh ok. tbh I don't know what logo iis before phase 3 xD (the yellow chuck )
Oh alright. I think it's best if you email me for any more research information, I saw a comment about the dance floor at Birmingham you made but it isn't showing up on the video or in comments held in review. Just send me any more info you find at itzzarob@gmail.com so that we don't run into issues with comments held for review.
@@ItzaRob aight thanks. I think its much beter than the annoying held for reviews 😅
4:00 the footage you have of Vestavia was around the time chuck started making appearances in some showbiz pizza places
Yep! This was one of my first ever history videos. I’ve learned a lot since then, and this video definitely could use an update as there’s more I’ve found since this video.
@ItzaRob nice I was wondering if you could talk about the history of the 4 locations in calgary alberta Canada I do have some stuff I could give you
1:53 thank god they got rid of the ball pit...
Wow I can't believe good old chuck
Am I the only one who noticed a wood cut out of rolfe and earl at 2:21 beside the hot air baloon ride
Some people believe that some 3 stage parts from Vestavia were sent to the Mobile location for them to convert back to the regular 3 stage.
That’s an interesting idea! Though I do wonder if Vestavia’s 3 Stage would’ve ever gotten things such as the plastic masks or not since the location closed in 2000, but even the possibility of thing such as character clothes from that location living on is still interesting.
@@ItzaRob They probably only got Chuck’s plastic mask since his was released around ‘99.
@AshtonDaGawd Yep, that's the Highway 280 location. Good to know that it uses random movements rather than just turned off completely.
@@ItzaRob If you are interested in viewing Vestavia footage from the early 2000s, I will be uploading them this week.
Ooh This the one with the Recycled beach bear guitar only Painted like they flying cheese one
I now notice that! I guess Roebuck is a bit of a special location in more ways than one.
Do you know that Chuck E. Cheese that got lost? Do you know the animatronic that also could’ve been the Tuscaloosa one because that one blew away in a tornado in 2011 and it was exactly like that a studio C and it’s just an hour away so you never know
I don’t exactly understand what you’re trying to say. Are you trying to imply that the abandoned Chuck E. Cheese animatronic isn’t Old Town Road’s? If so, although it’s possible, if it had gotten caught up in a tornado it would’ve been far more damaged than the abandoned one we see in the infamous photo. Not to mention it turned up after Old Town Road converted to a dance floor in 2016 so it’s more likely to be Old Town Road’s Studio C. Plus that’s just what my source said so that’s what I went off of.
Munch jr is god
4:32 , feels so off to hear Billy bob tell Chuck E to leave lol
