I don't even know if I can pick 🤣 maybe after I watch this video three or four more times (I'm on the second time now) maybe then I could choose one! They are all just as beautiful as the other on their own 😍♥️🌿🐟🌿💚 Thank you Ryo, Steven and ADA!! 👍👍👍
No blackwater tanks. I think it's not to the Japanese taste. I live in Tasmania and most of our rivers and lakes are very heavily stained with tannins (probably more than anywhere else!). I love the look but I guess most other people don't.
I like black water tanks and many people in Japan do keep black water tanks. I hope to set one up in the future. Biotope style. This event was an ADA event and you probably know that ADA don’t do black water. Their focus is on aquatic plant tanks.
@@RyoWatanabee also blackwater doesn't suit lots of aquatic plants. I'm going to Osaka for a couple of weeks in July. I hope to visit the Kaiyukan aquarium again.
I gotta say my favorite was definitely the simple Iwagumi “Stone Scape in Early Summer” by Homma-San. So simple yet so powerful and the Barilius bakeri were 😍 Also want to say huge thanks to Steven (Stevescapes) for joining me! Be sure to subscribe to his channel 😃
Thank you so much, Ryo and Steven! I really enjoyed every minute of the video! Wish I could be there in person. But this detailed video is great enough! Thanks again! :D
Thank you so much :) yeah, it’s best to see these incredible aquascapes in person but I know it’s not possible with the current situation. Anyways, I tried my best to capture as much as possible while still trying to make it interesting.
Thanks to you I was able to visit this exhibition 20,000 km away. It is magnificent, and you two have been truly fantastic as guides. It is a video that inspires passion and ideas for learning. Thanks, I wish you the best. Keep Going!
Thanks for watching! I believe Ryo learned English at school in Singapore- I’m American (Japanese & Chinese heritage). Unfortunately Japan is one of the weakest Asian countries at English language skill… ^^;
Awsome video guys😍🙏 wasnt expecting you guys together thank you for the video love it ,so mutch vision and creativity ,whats my favoriete tank mmm alil difficult to chuse haha there all awsome😍🙏💯 ,the strong layout classic iwagumi still the best i like and i m gona creat also a 90by45by45 optic white glass iwagumi soon !!
Yeah!! The foggy terrarium was nice. Like a little jungle. I wish I filmed it longer as the fog cleared up. It looks totally different when you can see in clearly.
Ryo, thank you so much for this video. It was very well made and I really felt like I was there taking it all in with you and Steven. Steven is one of my favorite professional aquascapers because he tells a story like no other through his art. His insights into these aquascapes was terrific. Thanks again. Hope you have a good one.
What an absolute pleasure and honor to tour the Aqua Design Amano team's works with you and Steven 🙏 Getting to see these amazing designs and natural aquariums is incredible. The first exhibit with all the different sections with the plants and fish is so amazing to get to experience. 😍 WOW! I would have to walk around that a million times 🤯🤣 And Ryo, I don't think that I've congratulated you on rank 59 on your absolutely beautiful Aquascape!! I have been following along 🙏 You have entered into the top ranks of becoming a future champion ! (Actually you already are 💪) And speaking of champions Steven is absolutely one of my favorites 🙏♥️ I so enjoyed the education and listening to yours and Steven's thoughts as you toured!! Especially discussing each aquascapers style for each of these aquariums. It was really amazing to see all the fish, the gorgeous plants and how everything is so thoughtfully put together to create these aquascapes 😍 I always love learning about how textures and the layering in the layouts creates the composition of these underwater works of art!! Thank you both for taking the time to let me and all of us come along to see this! Awesome 🙏 I hope you guys have a blessed and beautiful day!! Thank you for sharing 🙏🌿🐟🌿💚
Thank you so much :) not sure if you know but just as a note, this was a short event held by ADA in Tokyo. I hope to visit their gallery in Niigata if I get the chance to someday
more, more!!! love the commentary on what makes a great layout vs. a "flat" layout with use of negative space. I'd love to see more videos like this of "Amano" style with commentary on the layout from other top 60 IAPLC scapers
This was even better than expected. So glad you shared this with us all. Especially with those of us that won’t be able to experience this in person. Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Great exhibition! I am personally not the biggest fan of Aquascaping but I like the Video and the exhibition =) And congrats for getting the 59th Place in the contest - I think it's great Achievement!
I like how they put the CO2 diffusers at the front of the tanks just to flex on us like "Yeah we got the CO2 pressure, and tank size. Look at the size of those bubbles. TINY. THEY ARE MICROSCOPIC. ADA IS THE MAN."
Please explain the glass CO2 diffuser setups I found them on amazon want to buy and setup tank like this :) I have a huge scuba sized CO2 tank I got years ago for reef tanks Ca reactor so
Hello anyone knows where to buy box turtle in Singapore? I don’t see any pet shop sell any terrapins other than red ear sliders. Is this legal? As a foreigner I’m not very sure about it.
We need to get out of Corona so ADA can do NA Party again~ Gallery and Amano House tour is part of the 2 day package (don’t need to compete to order a spot)
Looking at the base of the plant, the way the stalks fan, I think that was a Strelizia. Their leaves, especially of the white flowering Strelizia (which grows up to 10 metres) look very similar to banana plants. Whether it's a regular Strelizia (only growing to about 2 metres) or the giant one, incredible to have it in an aquascape!
Really great video, and was awesome to have Steve there for all of his insights as well. I have been hoping for a video on this exhibit since traveling there to see it is pretty impossible at the moment, and you guys did an amazing job of making it feel like we were all there.
Which of these beautiful aquariums was your favorite??
