Don Kim, your charm is in the details. You reused a waistband for the handles. But doubling it over in the middle elevates the bag. You made an entirely new "fabric" alternating the ties and denim. And the care and steps given to the zipper top really make this stand out. Well done, Don Kim! ❤❤👏👏👏

Don Kim, you have convinced me to go shopping for used Men's neckties to add to my stash of fabrics for making quilts, garments, and other items. This is a very roomy, colorful, zippered top, fully lined, strong, original, repairable, and beautiful patchwork tote bag. The handles are made from a denim waistband, the floor and top are made from up-cycled denim, and there are three roomy pockets inside. Most of this bag is made from up-cycled denim and men's neckties. I love to string patchwork piece. Up-cycled denim and up-cycled neck ties would make a beautiful quilted jacket or coat. Thank you for this wonderful idea and video. Please stay safe.
