Don Kim, you would make a wonderful Free Motion Quilter. You used that sewing machine to draw in the details of the flowers with thread. Do you Free Motion Quilt? This bag is repairable, colorful, roomy, strong, original, and very 1960's. I'm not sure if it can be machine washed (because of the raw edge appliqued flowers). All the fabric used to make this bag is up-cycled. There are two hip pockets inside. Even the button and button hole is up-cycled. Wonderful. Thank you for this video. Please stay safe.

At the beginning, I found myself second-guessing that the smaller flower had 4 petals compared to 5 for the larger flower. As you progressed, I see the wisdom of your choice. For the smaller flower to have had five petals, the two layers of sewing inside the petal would have been too busy and muddled The flower centers would have to have been another size. My lesson? "Never doubt the artistry of Dom Kim." 😁 Thank you for showing this. Waiting until the end to sew the button was a wise move - it assures exact placement and no chance of having to stretch of cram to button the top.

Don Kim,het fascineert mij steeds weer hoe jij bloemen tekent,uitknipt en zo meesterlijk deze bloemen 🌺 uit de vrije hand stikt en appliqueert.Zó decoratief en zó mooi! Echt leuk om je zo bezig te zien.Ik hou van de kleurencombinatie van de gebruikte dassen en van de manier waarop je de broekceintuur en zijn knoop en knoopsgat hergebruikt.Je bent oh zó artistiek beste Don.Gewoon on-navolgbaar.
