3:10 I just don't see how a trident poke would do damage to heavy armour without taking a hit. The real threat is the net, but if the throw wiffs you are dead.
Exactly, I think this is something lost to history and I call BS. The heavy armor would win any day. Same with the second example, of course the big shield will win. "He will tire out" we'll no of course he won't. No one is forcing him to act offensively, just bide your time behind the big shield and wait for an opening and you'll have won. This video got it all wrong.
I'm not an expert but if I remember highschool history correctly 'heavy armour' for gladiators basically meant a helmet and coverings for the arms and legs. It's not like he has a chestplate or anything and fights often ended with the first serious injury. Also, fighting someone with a significantly longer reach than you can be tough in any combat sport so I imagine gladiatorial combat would be no different. A lot of it probably comes down to the skill of gladiators anyway though.

7:58 emperor loved putting the best game on prime time
Bro i love the way this guy just gets straight to the point of the video non of that “hay guys todays videos about blah blah hit the sub button” keep it going i love ur videos
5:05 Nah tigers usually win this matchup cause they hunt alone, while lions rely on their pack.
I think he meant to say the other way around since he described it as a robbery
I mean male lions typically fight alone while females hunt in the pride.
How would you know?
You are talking about Barbarian Lion/Atlas lion. They are huge. Lions back then were stronger and bigger than tigers
Tigers are big fat pussies
Yeah they are stronger, faster, heavier & bigger etc etc
But they don't have the guts
They scram away at the slightest possibility of them not getting their way
They simply don't stand and bang like lions
Lions fight raw
3:45 Luckily i am not a Gladiator, i chose the wrong equipment twice
Same 😢
Me to
Sameeee
He fails to mention they would have been trained in how to handle each class of gladiator
Love your channel, God Bless
Bear vs bull? The romans predicted fallout new vegas.
BRO PLEASE UPLOAD MORE I LOVE YOU
He just posted dawg
"Fought nothing but tomato cans" got me good. That's hilarious.
I hope you see this message, a +11 million suscribers spanish UA-camr (Daniel José Santomé Lemus aka Dalas Review) copied word by word your video and doesn't give you credit. Just to make you known and tane care of the topic.
Tampoco fue palabra a palabra bro jajaa
“Goro vs Scorpion”. My favorite animal battle.
3:21 technically not true due to the nature of the helmet that bounces the net off it. In actuality the Retiarius would typically try to tire out the Secutor then kill him but it usually ended with a Secutor victory, also the helmet would prevent the Retiarius from poking him in the eyes
Plus I believe the Retiarii were often the more effeminate men; it was meant to be humiliating.
on my alt acc i’ve been subbed since you were at 100k. now you are almost at a million. you deserve it, dude.
How are you not at 1 million subs yet?
Because he's not consistent with his uploads, he has another account called jaybeetv and hasn't uploaded since 10months ago, and on this channel he posts a video every couple of months... You ain't gonna make it if you ain't consistent
@@st3v3_00no, it’s because his account is still fairly young. he’s growing insanely quickly. also; he’s very consistent, you only need to post once every three months to stay on the algorithm, that’s how it works
Common sense would
Show you the answer ngl
This was the best Ramen dinner alone UA-cam video I’ve ever seen. Thank you.
Good humor, fun animations and still educational. I love it
This video came in just in time to make this weekend Good Enough 🙏
I Love how he makes the stickers suffer so much
Dude, these unique stickmen were goddamn hilarious on top of the interesting video. Loved it!
4:56 Lions did not, in fact, beat tigers. The tigers won nearly every time. Idk how you could even get that wrong its literally one google search away.
It was already addressed in the top comment. Idk how you could not see that, you commented so you could’ve seen it.
It's quite clear that he simply just mixed up the words considering the context of what he was saying mate.
10:29 I've seen this lion before...
Same bro same
Looks like my cousins cat
@@ezzisaurus8331yes
Yes,it's from the previous video
Really love how you get straight to the point.... Need more interesting videos, thank you for your wonderful and educational content
The hatred that this man draws faces with is unfathomable
I was literally just scrolling through this channel just to find a new video posted 17 minutes ago…
@@Relicen well maybe, but it's good enough
I'm not an expert but if I remember highschool history correctly 'heavy armour' for gladiators basically meant a helmet and coverings for the arms and legs. It's not like he has a chestplate or anything and fights often ended with the first serious injury. Also, fighting someone with a significantly longer reach than you can be tough in any combat sport so I imagine gladiatorial combat would be no different.
A lot of it probably comes down to the skill of gladiators anyway though.
@@jimjimson6208 if heavy Armor is helmet and braces, "light Armor" would be full skin suit
@@ilkkamiinalainen7116well you guys gotta remember the person has skills themselves. It’s like any fight, anything can happen with good focus and skill whether the other has better weapons or not.
Just found your channel through Jaybeetv. Glad you’re still making content - subscribed!!
This is my Roman Empire. Literally
Babe, wake up. New Good Enough vid just dropped.
