T8: Azucena I noticed a pattern way back from INJ GAU all the way to MK11. Sonicfox plays unfamiliar characters (new or dlc) to get his footing in each game. Or he eventually uses late DLC releases to scrub out opponents with easier W. There is no actual loyalty towards characters, just gimmick ready for the next opponent.

It's about him picking characters that's completely new or DLC, thus being unfamiliar with the communities, and everyone has to adapt to his unfamiliar characters' choices instead of characters they are well aware of. Everyone knows what Scorpion, Batman, Ken, and Law do. No one knows what these new characters do until 3-4 months in. It's gimmicky 🤷🏾♂️.
