Haverstock is a large Victorian sandstone villa located in Bridge of Allan, recently renovated with many modern facilities, accommodating up to 10 people.
Bridge of Allan is an historic spa town that is still very popular with visitors to Scotland that was twice awarded Best Small Town in Scotland in recent years.
The downstairs communal areas of Haverstock are well laid out with a large bi-fold glass opening to the side of the house, adjoining the family area with the modern kitchen.
The family area has leather sofas and a 42 inch TV with the kitchen providing excellent cooking and dining facilities for guests, as well as the opportunity to cook on the 4 oven Aga.
There is a huge amount of communal area downstairs with large hall, kitchen and family area. The family area has leather sofas, and a 40 inch LED Smart TV with playstation, with the kitchen providing excellent modern cooking and dining facilities, as well as opportunity to cook with gas 4 oven aga. The whole of kitchen, family are benefiting from comfortable underfloor heating. There is plenty of light and access to the gardens through large bifold doors.
There is a formal dining area in one of the reception rooms towards the front of the house if you are celebrating a special occasion with family and friends, and a sitting room with a wood burning stove and large flat screen TV across the hallway. The ground floor also has a large bathroom with drench shower and toilet. Additionally downstairs there is a large cloakroom toilet.,
The grand hallway leads up to the first floor where guests can enjoy relaxing in the large drawing room on comfortable sofas, with tastefully decorated soft furnishings and views over to Stirling Castle .
There are 4 main bedrooms. The master has a super king bed with adjoining dressing room , a further king double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. . The main upstairs bathroom has a large bath and walk in drench shower befitting such a grand property . The family area also has a sofa bed so there is plenty of space for 10 people in this large house.
Haverstock is a great central location from which to explore Scotland and Bridge of Allan with an abundance of quality restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance.
