SNOWSHOE BIKE PARK: WESTERN TERRITORY
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- The Western Territory at Snowshoe bike park is a network of downhill orientated trails featuring an over 1500' vertical descent serviced by the western express high speed detachable chair lift. It is where UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) host a world championship downhill mountain bike race each year and has some well known features/trails such as the Cupp cake (cupcake) Gap, Skyline jump trail, Big ash jump trail, Pro DH, and many more! Sadly Upper and lower Hareball were closed during our visit in preparation for the 2022 race, but that leaves a very good reason to return to the amazing resort!

🤘🤘🤘
I know the trials well and you are moooving
This was a while back haha, snowshoe is all ways a good time!!
Man you have some great videos, keep at it, I’ll be at sugar in the AM
Really enjoy your vids. You carry some crazy speed on those trails, makes me want to get better !
Thanks dude!!!
Awesome runs! Watched the whole thing.
Yea I watched your sugar video, super cool! Part two with basin territory had much better riding though with way more unique trails.
@@chrisburns460 can't wait to go sometime your video is a great resource
Nice dude that is super sick
Thanks Bryant!
Your welcome sid
Finally went there for the first time this Thur-Sat (from Northeast so usually Killington, Thunder and Mountain Creek) ... So much fun, there's so many line choices and features all over the place. Looks steep even on UA-cam, but especially on the letter trails, the roots are crazy ... "Warmed up" on M&O (blue tech) and literally had to walk my bike around a couple features. You really have to know what's behind every rock drop and speed is definitely your friend. Really loved Missing Link jump line, and Cupcake drop is so much fun ... That whole run in from Portal into 10 Gallon (I think that's it) was my favorite section. Few spills and a sore wrist, but that's pretty much par for the course.
They need an A-Line though. There's plenty of space, and Skyline is fun, but a black, top to bottom jump/flow trail would take it from an 8 to a 9 for sure! Oh, and our Airbnb was 40ft from the lift (literally). Ate breakfast, took my bike from the patio and was on Dirt Beaver in 8 seconds!!
Yea they do need a big jump trail lol
Also sounds like an incredible trip, I can’t wait to get back!

🤘🤘🤘
Nice riding👌Heading down in 2 weeks for the first time (usually ride Thunder & Killington) ... I always thought Sbowshoe was mostly tech, didn't know they had so much flow. Big Ash looks sick, and I think that road gap was Portal?
Now I'm even more excited to head down!!!
Thats awesome dude, yea the cupp cake gap is off of portal and they have a great world class trail system with lots of variety and quality!
Im so not on this level yet but i wanna be. Feel like i make it harder on myself going slower. Great riding man
Trails flow with speed, you just gotta commit!
@@chrisburns460 you right man! Just gotta let the brake go hahah
@@mtbshredz7213 easier said than done ... Build up to it. Took me about 2 years and 40+ days at the bike park (mostly Thunder and Killington) before I got comfortable hitting black jumps at full speed (which is the only way to hit em).
Just takes practice, and try following someone better than you!!
i thought i saw a blue sign but sure was a big drop
😂😂😂
How hard is the cup cake drop?
Not really difficult, just a big commitment first time launching off of it lol
