I'm just getting into this podcast from the start and I'm completely BAFFLED that the consensus is that Adam was the least likeable member. At episode 50, i can say Stav has been unbearable 95% of the time. Adam plays a good part imo.

Why would you sign an NDA when you quit a job? Explain to me how that makes any sense? Maybe when you take the job, when the employer has the leverage and they can withhold the job if you don't sign it. But when you are leaving, why would you sign an NDA? Adam is not smart enough to be a good liar.
Non American, but it does seem rich Americans use NDA all the time so their ex employees will not say anything bad about them.
if youre fired for gross misconduct, you dont get uninsurance benefits. At least in maryland. Company man could have said “ur fired for gross misconduct, but if you sign this NDA i’ll mark it as simple misconduct so u can get ur benefits.
Most exit NDAs come with some sort of financial incentive

Why would you voluntarily sign an NDA when you quit a company? He is either lying or he was fired and they told him they wouldn't pay him his last check unless he signed it.
