The Chords and Harmony Book covers strumming a lot in 4/4 and some in 3/4 throughout the various Lessons (Chapters) that cover playing the different chords that we play, and then has one specific Lesson on various strumming patterns in various meters. The new edition of the Theory and Technique Book (2nd ed), which will hopefully be released this summer, will have a whole section on strumming patterns for various meters and styles.
Thank You. Yes, with the one on the right there are 8 rhythmic figures, but two of them in the first grouping are 16th note values instead of 8th note values, so they go twice as fast, thus the rhythmic equivalent of 7 eighth notes is still happening. I hope that helps!
Great lesson. The guitar tone reminded me of my first guitar. Came for a lesson left with a sweet nostalgia 😢
Ahhhh. 💞 That's tender. I enjoy playing that guitar a lot and love it's tone.
It's very important and nicely gone.....👍👍🌿🔥🔥
Thank You!
In which of your book contains all the time signatures 2/4,2/4,4/4,5/4, etc of strumming patterns ....

Thank you for a great lesson. Aren't the strumming patterns on the right in 8/8? I see 8 strummings (DUU DU DUD and DUD UDD DU)
