Jae's pronounciation is sooo perfect and crystal clear that the auto generated captions is 99.99% correct
trueee and that's the one of the reasons why i can understand the whole podcast
The 00.01% is jay instead of jae😂
@@najihahzulkiple5287 and the part at 16:57 where Jae said "snaps for diane" but the auto generated captions were "snaps for dying" 😭🤣
I agree to that. Every time I turn on the auto generated caption in the other hdigh episodes I just get more confused 😌
Because he grew up in the States. Specifically California
Jae: We need camera for diane
Me : yesss pleaseeee
I so agree.
Do we what she looks like ?!
@@vanessagutierrez5999 You can see her on instagram @dianekang
Jae realizing he's an adult is the funniest thing haha
It's alarming how parents treat their children may result trauma affects into their child until their adulthood if not taken care of.
i agree with youuu
honestly its sad that that's so true...
Not only parents. Also authorities like teachers play a huge role. It really is alarming.
I'm addicted to his voice it's weird but here I am stating a fact
Same...love his voice!
Yes! Me too
"I went blonde, for work"
I SMELL COMEBACK OR EAJ MV
This was before the Zombie comeback though! He had his dark hair with highlights before so he changed it for the cb

“All I was doing was playing Monkey Ball at my friend’s house”
“Oh... why’d you lie to your parents then?”
“... other stuff happened too 😂”
THE LOOK OF PANIC ON JAES FACE IM DEAD 😂💀
“Raising a child especially if it’s a kid like me is gonna be a nightmare”
INTERESTINGGGGGGGG JAE
I am keeping nodding my head when Diane's talking. She's a very good talker, and so smart. Very.
The show "It's Okay to not be Okay" these reminds us how powerful words are to a person, most especially to a child.
Btw the literal translation of “사이코지만 괜찮아” is “it’s okay to be psycho” or “I(or you) am psycho but it’s okay”👀
@@hj-mm2hb ohh Thanks😅
Joyce Arias I was so shocked when one of my non Korean friends said that she really related to the title of the drama, and I immediately thought of the psycho one i-

Saira David she’s getting a lot better from what i’m hearing, thanks💕 i thought she was saying that she was a psycho hahaaa💀

jae in every single minute : INNTERRESTINNNSSSSS
but I'd like to see another little version of Jae. the end.
What I’ve learned today from this episode:
SAVE YOUR EMOTIONAL ENERGY
DO NOT AVOID LOVE
idk if it’s just me but i live for the intro

It's not just you
Jay L. fr it keeps me going 😌
What did he even say 💀
@@butteredhippo1328 "hooooow-hooooow-hooooow-hooooow--"
"...did I get here? ....huh?"
😂
Jae: "Human nature is to be selfish but nuture can create a sense of morality"
Psychopaths: LMAO
Agreee. I was about to counter argue that part 😂
@Anny's World when i heard the explanation about nurture can create the sense of morality and him explaining about the idea of twins would be quite similar in terms of personality when given the same situations i immediately thought about defense mechanism, i mean everybody's got their own way to get rid of stress right? And that's what differs us from other people. That's my opinion 😊
Actually people who are diagnosed of socio- and psychopath often grew up in really awful households. It takes good parenting to teach a child empathy (something they commonly have very low). although gene sequencing can have an effect, but empathy can be taught in early years
@@irenedagami130 not really, sociapaths actually are "created" meanwhile psycopaths can't be really created or educated as their condition is said to be related to genetics that cause the brain to have undeveloped emotions/control of emotions.
The same could be said about depression, as there are cases caused by trauma or emotional suffering while in other cases it is considered "cronic" as it have no cause but genetics that can play a role.
@@Marinaheidi But the apathy' is a common trait for them? I have seen some people in social media express to being diagnosed psychopaths but generally being controlled. You are talking about the psycho gene right? I came across it once. but it just increases risk of impulsive/risky behavior. Risky behavior is usually very general: includes extreme sports, vices, drinking, and violence is just one of them. When we talk about risks, it's not really predetermined you just have a very large potential to have one but at the same time you also have that window of opportunity to not be one.
People who go through rough childhoods and turn into stable adults is called being "resilient." As a psych major, I loved the discussion!!
The dislike is from Brian because Jae spoilled his solo LOL
Jae be like talking about his high school reunion and stuff on this podcast while some of his friends might watch or listen to this podcast omg. He's one of the most open celebrities I've ever seen
I am 19 but this podcast is making me realise I think like a person in late twenties
I’m only 15 I just like interior design...And vacuum’s ig
I can sleep listening to jae talking. It’s soooo oddly soothing. But the topic got me like “damn me too.” So I couldn’t stop listening.
Jae: I don't wanna get too close to people
Also Jae: *Literally watching and commenting on strangers' Day6 content*
39:12 jae's panic face, i can't 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm just impressed of how Jae's and Diane's brains work, the way they think just make me fall in love with them
I miss Jae on podcast. His voice is so soothing I can listen to all day.
I just want all Dive Studios crews know that Jae is my favorite host🤍💕 do a lot more contents with him, I love you💜
Diane is so fvcking relatable 😩
Diane is out here shocking Jae with them 'big' words in each episode😂😂😂

I did my thesis on attachment theory! The original theory by Bowlby and Ainsworth had lot of great points but its certainly outdated and despite the earlier researchers' assertations that it held up universally, the core beliefs of attachment theory is still rooted in western individualist culture.
My thesis was on how modern research tools of attachment theory hold up cross-culturally! Workin in this field was one of the most exciting and thought provoking times of my life. I got to work with people from many different walks of life- wealthy upper class from stable households, to people who had turbulent childhoods and suffered abuse from parents.
Even if attachment theory is a total crock and could be thrown out the window, its still groundbreaking because it engages people in conversation about how their relationships affects other areas of their life.
Jae's expression and tone of voice at 38:49 had me in literal splits😂😂
man, how is this man so endearing
No one:
The auto generated caption: I am your host, Jay
Why we can never see the girl talking, I love her❤️
Producer Diane is one of the reasons I love Dive Studios’ shows!
Monica S I bet she’s beautiful ❤️
This is one of the days that Im glad I have insomnia so I can watch Jae :)
Nooo I love diane's voice and commentary it's what the world neeeedsss
I like the way jae introduce himself , love the way he speak so fluent , pronounciation is so clear understandable .
I really enjoy his show, I'm so happy I could watch his podcast early morning , nd the notification popping up early morning feels so touched love you Jae❤#Day6
it's super tiring watching jae. i mean, who wouldn't be tired smiling for 40+ minutes? i am a resting bitch face but when i see or hear jae, i automatically smile.
This is the type of conversation I want to have with someone or anyone, it's like a laid-back and in relax way yet still dive deep to keep it really interesting.
Done listening this on Spotify, but I'm here again 😂
Why is no one pointing out how for a solid 5 minutes the camera just focused on the b&w pillow on the couch and Jae was all blurry lmao it's making me anxious
Wait when? Lololol

I agree with Jae about Nurture. I have a twin brother and we are very similar in terms of personality, values, morality, etc.
I graduated with a major in psych and listening to this podcast session reminds me of everything I learned from social psych hahaha
That moment when jae was talking about his future child. Uwu
about the emotional energy Jae has been talked. I've been feeling it lately like I realize I can't spend too much time on many people at once because it's totally exhausting and got me in the bad mood and have to sacrifice my obligations to fulfill others needs. I came to learn that just because I love them it doesn't mean I have to be around all the time and give the attention. gratefully my closest friends are understand of my scarce energy to manage also my habit to reach out to them once I regain my emotional energy back. thanks for sharing Jae and Diana 🖤
Jae's podcast is my favorite so far. I will listen to it while studying and doing my homework
My issue is that I cant connect with people. I meet people knowing that I won't be around them for long. Much of the things people are into I have no interest lol I hate drama, talking about romance, and I just enjoy simple things like eating out and nature. I don't watch TV or TV shows ....pretty much not into the trends..I am boring and I don't want to change that 🤣
Omg you sound like my ex-- HAHAHAHAHA
I think u should find ppl that are also 'boring' then maybe u can connect w them??
@@dzakiraqaulafashla2726 right! Maybe one way or another you can improve
Hey, if no one has told you before, I'm gonna say it.
That is completely fine.
We've all got different interests. And someone else's version of "fun & interesting" might be boring to you, just like how your definition of "interesting" might be something that they find boring. We're all different here. You're just different. This doesn't make you "boring". You just haven't found anyone who you could share your interests with.
Omg same 😂
What I love the most from HDIGH is that they discussed something that we can really relate to our daily life and enhance our knowledge at the same time. Appreciate it
I dont know why jae explaining this is much more easier to understand than my theory of personalities professor.
We miss you Jae 😍😍
This potcast taught me more important things for life than 12 years of school ever could. So thank you for making my day and helping me finding my way through life ^-^
I MISS YOU ON HDIGH JAE TT
Just be a supportive parent as a parent I feel like it's the best be someone you needed when you were growing up .
i could just listen to Jae all day
he's so interesting to watch omg i listened to this episode already but i can still watch it the video on and it'll still be fun
a lot of these episodes have psychology theories weaved in them and it makes me happy that i payed attention in class well enough to be able to be present~ in these episodes
the auto generated subs being exact is soo satisfying
I miss your podcasts Jae 🥺
Being in the same age group..can relate so much...glad i’m not alone feeling all these burdens
I love listening to Diane talk
Like always I'm here for Jae.
But Diane, Girl!! You are so good at dissecting the ideas and meanings and explaining them with the appropriate words. #Dianeappreciation #HDIGHappreciation
Love for Dive studios ❤
i can just relate to Diane about feeling burdened when people asked me abt my self.
20:48 the 'how are you?' and 'how's life?' questions. For me, thats the questions people will ask first before asking/telling things they want 👀
I absolutely, just love you Jae. You look so comfortable hosting the show ☺❤.
Diane I LOVE YOU MAKE UR OWN PODCAST!
Jae has the cutest laugh❤ and Diane's so insightful ♥️ love the discussions, as always
I love these podcasts
Missing you mucho Jae! Glad your have these podcasts and we get to listen to you. ❤️❤️❤️
Podcast to listen to when I want to remember what it was like to be young.
Never been this early lol 😂. Love you Jae💕 No matter what your hair color is you always nailed it. What a handsome Jae😍😘
Jae is very effective as a teacher. Lol. I've listened to his all podcast and i didnt even get bored meanwhile online class...... 👻
Diane, I think you're awesome! You make the podcasts (yes, others too) more fun! I think you are an empath and most empaths have difficult pasts which are hard to share. I love your input in all the podcasts I watch and listen to but I want a camera on you too. Jae you are great too!!!
man, this is my first time watching this segment. didnt know itd be this good. i rlly loved it
I'm a fan of jae's hair. Thank you.
Lmao jae i can relate with the fearful avoidant attachment i can NEVER get too close to someone but at the same time i can NEVER get too far
Yo Diane you're so chill and have good input and your tone is not too loud at all
I love how you add on to all the podcasts you do
And yes jae she needs a camera
the best episode of Jae's podcast till date for me
It's 5 am where i am and i just can't sleep so im just listening to jae's calming voice
Jae is hillarious!
JAE'S HANDS ARE GORGEOUS!!!!!
I'm 38, and while I'm all for valuing meaningful relationships over superficial acquaintanceships, I'd like to add a word of warning: the logic of only giving attention to a small group of friends does not work well for you in the future. Because when those few special people leave you, either by passing away or moving far away or just finding other people to hang with, you'll find yourself all alone. And then when everyone else around you doesn't feel the need to fill a "friend vacancy" at that moment, the world can become a very lonely place.
Im literally enjoyimg every ep of Jae's (and Diane) podcast, that I cant stop watching a vid after another, I didnt notice it's already 1:30am and i have to do smths tmw. Thank you for the GREAT content.
Enjoyed the episode sooo much !! Keep choosing such interesting topics, you discuss them in a wonderful way !
OMGosh I’m exactly like Diane! Straightforward, to the point, don’t reveal much about myself, but interested in everyone else.
Such a good episode truly. I think I relate to Jae a bit more than Diane in terms of the type of attachment, I guess because sometimes it's exhausting to keep in touch with a lot of people over time. It really helps to have understanding friends though; the ones who get it when you say you need space because people and relationships in general can take a toll on energy levels ❤
Miss you jae 😙
JAES IS BLONDE EVERYBODYYYYY😍😍😍
I just cant❤
@@simpayshenaides oh really? But he's blonde tho now on his ig stories😁😁
@@simpayshenaides oh i see.. Thanks fyi:)
thank you jae for your podcast it really helps my brain not to be rusty this quarantine 💀 and your intro describes me everytime we have a discussion in our school ‘knowing more but not feeling all that much smarter at all’ 😎
I always enjoy listening jae talking the way he talk very interesting 😁
