Thanks for posting this, a great little video. I thought that cleanliness of the coach portion was also an issue with the steam rail motor concept, in that the whole thing had to go into a dirty steam shed for servicing.

Many thanks for watching. It is (as @smhorse thought) a Mallard/Blacksmith etched brass model of some vintage. It has been upgraded as with all of our stock with particular attention to valve gear. In fact the model predates the Kernow offering by some decades. If we were to get another model, we would probably choose Jeremy Suter's exquisite etched kit - See Scalefour Society for availability.

You are correct and also, every time the engine went into the service shed, the whole train was out of action….
Only Three minutes long. but but once again packed with information, not just a pretty Face!!

New Pendon video after all these months! Wheres the railmotor from, is it one of those new Kernow ones?
No, it's quite an old model, of one of the shorter (59 foot) railmotors, whereas the Kernow is the 70 foot version.
Might be from the old Blacksmith kit
