I can personally vouch for sehat card. 2 months back, we got our father checked as he underwent an angiography and we found out that a bypass operation is needed for him as several of his heart veins were blocked.
A month back we got the operation done from a very famous private hospital in Lahore without paying a single penny. Alhamdullilah and may God Bless everyone who took part in this wonderful step towards making treatment accessible for everyone
Same here, except my father's report was perfectly healthy but 2 stunts all other expenses with it were covered.

I am harsh critic of PTI politics, specially thier aggressive politics and blame game. But Sihat Card is one of the best initiative. One of the Best health care system in the world. Taimur Jargrha KpK finanace minister and PTI kpk govt truly deserve the credit for this.

I am Doing MBBS and Recently my Mom got some Medical Issue tou Surgery krani parhi Emergency tou we were not that Financially Stable at that time tou We use Sehat Card and all the treatment of around 2 Lac Cost was by SEHAT Card and AlhamduLillah now my Mom is Fine 🥺

Firstly I wondered why he would publish a video on the SEHAT CARD but then eventually I realised that in rural areas where a farmer holds his expenses on daily wages it is a very good initiative.

I am from KPK. My sister got operated for appendix free of cost in private hospital.
In LEH hospital peshawar every bypass takes only 2 to 3 hours.

Nowadays even middle class people can't afford expensive treatment. Everyone is suffering, not just the poor. You said this multiple times in video that it is only needed for poor, whereas everyone needs it.
But poor /lower class people suffer more than middle class people.
@@SaifKhan-wu2zj Everyone is suffering. And there are many reasons for that. Lower middle and middle class has now shifted to become poor. Also, the sehat card covers a huge amount and even a lot of lower middle and middle class people can't afford to spend that much. Medical expenses can go very high so even a rich person might not have that kinda amount, if you think about it.
Those who made sehat card didnt discriminate on the basis of class so class should be kept aside.

My father went for a check up for stunt pass and uptill 2 stunt pass and all charges within it (except medicines) were with sehat card, But Fortunately we never went for the stunt as he is fine.
We are mideocar family and we had no savings except for what we earn every month. It is a big relief that previous government started a scheme which actually worked and didn't brag about it.

Beautifully explained. Just to add, for any specific or rare treatment once the diagnosis is done then only you can avail the facility. But that once the treatment is done almost nothing.
I pray this program prevails and runs at its maximum I’ve personally seen 5 families using this amazing service to get their loved ones back to life Allahamdulillah. All those who got into this were middle class family doing good in terms of financial resources but still treatment for the illness was pretty expensive and unable to bear in private institutes. 1million health insurance for a family is not more than a relief and mojaza for the one.
All those who are working day and night on this get highest reward ameen. We all to have Allah’s blessing Allahamdulillah ameen.

I have a friend from KPK who's uncle has lung cancer, thanks to sehat card they are able to do chemotherapy without spending a penny!

@@Sam-cv4vv there is no need for any kind of qualification... Sehat card is valid for all the cnic holders of kpk and you just have to show your cnic card and wait for processing time...

In Rawalpindi/Islamabad We have very facilitated Government Hospitals like For Any kind of Emergency Everybody goes to Holy Family Hospital and for the Heart Emergencies and Advanced level Treatment we have Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology and for Cancer Patients we have Noori Hospital These Hospitals are one of those Hospitals where outsiders of Twin City come So Alhamdulillah We are blessed to have them.

Agreed....My father underwent open heart surgery and Alhamdulillah it was successful. And the surgery was done on the same health card and in a good hospital which we never imagined.

My uncle got operated with sehat card angioplasty done from national defense hospital Lahore without paying a single penny... Just anay janay ka kharcha.... 440000 total cost and all payment is vouched from sehat card....

Agree, recently I did a surgery of my skin lump in luxury private hospital.
Couldn't have imagined in my life .It was very Expensive but ALHAMDULILLAH
Other than the fact being, that the video is amazing and light was needed to be shed on this topic, it should not be ignored that the sehat card is currently not being entertained by almost any hospital, as the government, may it be current or the previous, wasn't/isn't able to back the hospitals with the funds and expenses and so the hospitals did entertain patients for a certain time, but currently they aren't. I hope they do start it and we start moving in the right direction though, insha Allah!

It has been made a part of Law in kpk. No new govt will be able to remove it.
Plus now hospitals are hesitant in entertaining since the new govt has given Inducations of wrapping up the program.

So discouraging government hospitals will result in an end of government hospitals. Government will not build more hospitals resulting in shifting of people more towards private hospitals. Private hospitals will increase the cost and govt have to pay them which we are paying through taxes. If govt has sufficient budget why it is not spending on building new hospitals. We have examples of government hospitals doing much better then private hospitals.
I never knew about it's importance.

I work in DHQ ER and come across such cases almost everyday, there are alot of people who cant afford basic medicines. Sehat card is a game changer

Sehat card is a good initiative.
You are also doing good by spreading a positive message.
But that card is also a source of corruption. People (patients) make fake medical reports to get their funds and share a percentage of the fund with the involved doctors.
Sehat card system must be allocated using precautions to avoid corruption.
Patients don't get any reimbursement or funds. I believe you don't understand how it works. First of all, it is only applicable IF you are admitted into the hospital and not in the EMERGENCY or OPD department. Then, the HOSPITAL directly gets paid by the STATE LIFE INSURANCE, as they are the INSURANCE PROVIDERS or in terms of insurance language the CARRIER agency.
There is a very strict AUDIT carried out by State life, exactly as they would do for their private insurance clients.
I personally have over 4 months of hospitalisation and treatment experience in 7 different hospitals on Sehat card, and before you claim that I am making this stuff up, we have a cancer patient at home with multiple organ complications, so we constantly need to make trips to hospitals for treatments.
No 'hidden' charges or extra fees are entered on the Books. It is strictly regulated, each test and each medicine is attached to the file with reports and everything. No bogus entries are entered in to the register.
Aisay random ghar baithay rumours bna k kya milta awam ko, I never understand that. We just love to criticise things without ever experiencing things.
@@letsgetripped4397 doctors are also involved with them. They make fake bills, reports, discharge letters, etc.
They are getting many rupees this way. Some private hospitals are also affiliated with the sehat card system, hence they are doing so.
