When I first moved to the iPhone, I bought it solely for its performance because it doesn’t matter whether you own a 5 years old iPhone it still performs better than many or I would say almost every other smartphone in that specific range. Again, this is just my opinion.

the display brightness turns to 2000 nits only when in bright environments such as outdoors with Auto brightness turned “ON”. You can’t manually toggle the brightness to that level with less ambient light. The normal usage brightness is the same for both phones except while watching hdr content where it is 1600 nits compared to 1200 nits on the 13 pro
