I highly recommend setting up a weak aura for the spit, so you can use the freedom spell when you see brann ain't doing it. If you use DBM, I set the female voice on the spit, and the deep male voice on the fear. This won't align properly with the fight after a while, but hearing that voice made me more careful because he would do the fear at any moment now. For anyone attempting this, good luck and remember, if you can get to phase 2, you can get the kill. It's just training at that point. (I was destro lock 611)
one small tip for any classic that may not be super obvious is that the poison dot is also a snare and will be removed by any talent that removes snares like Posthaste for hunters, so then you can just interrupt the heal and then treat the poison as snare removal
There's also a weak aura out there to help track the HOT from Brann's potions. Those potions have a good chunk of healing upfront but also do an additional 12 seconds worth of healing. You can time picking up the potions to maximize that uptime.

Went down to about 20% with a 619 ret pally. Honestly the most annoying parts are my kick being melee, which sucks if you have to kill the egg on the other side of the map. The other stuff that mostly killed me were the balls in P2, or just getting stuck on the stairs while getting shockwaved. I'm only at 15 attempts, dps is not an issue, it's just the random shit that I've mentioned. Probably gonna kill it, just need to be less salty about it and just be patient. Also, Amorphous Relic speed boost is better than the 20% dps and hp (hence anything is an instant wipe here) imo, mobility is just more important in this fight.
I used a felhunter and kept it on Zekvir. This allowed me to target the eggs and simultaneously interrupt with the felhunter without breaking my targeted cast.
607, moving fast, taking down Web Terrors without a problem Meanwhile my Demo Lock who is at IL610 just got the boss to 70% after 80 pulls… I want to stick to my guns but I’m slow, Web Terrors are still a nuisance… 😂 Jesus, even your damage is so fast! Demo sucks right now for sure 😅
This is what is stopping me from beating him, when brann doesnt dispell which is more often than none, my demonic circle is about 4s away from being usable and by that time your dead. Incredibly frustrating
@@Kevin2341 yeah, i can show you the achievement. It took 6 trys, some pots and a solo self heal setup and kicks and instant switches on the adds but ok be salty cause you couldn’t make it 🥲

Mad tip. You can spec into amplify curse and use either tongues on the boss or weakness. Makes his carapace heal a 5.1 second cast

Nah he is not a fun boss. If he wasn't so damn buggy mayyybe, but the RNG for mechanics and RNG on him bugging makes it not fun

Looking at the fight it seems he does very little melee.. as a hunter he just 1 shots my pet and comes straight for me

you don't use imp, you use the felhound and sacrifice him

He’s weird in that he can swing at pets and kill them even if not aggro target. Typically you’re fine but that one time you’ll be mad.
