Heyho! Great vid and breakdown. I'd tend to agree Shadow is the easiest spec to do the fight on between its answers for spittle, consistent setups for every egg set, and the option to rotate 2x 60s cds between eggs if you really need to. Shadow also takes significantly less damage than other specs, being both cloth (Which scales down Zekvir's melees for some reason) and having a decet amount of passive physical reduction due to focused will.
Perfectly said. I think the clothies would have still been fine without descaling melees, honestly. They tend to have more % dr, absorbs and threat drops that dont reset the fight. Rip soulshatter I suppose 😂
Man was struggling so much but once I switched to this build and got used to it I beat the hardmode! My itemlevel was 620 but I'm not that good with reactions and it was really hard for me but I did it :)
Very awesome job. I’ve beaten him twice with a shadow priest and a windwalker monk. The priest was a lot easier in comparison. I did both at 611 ilvl, but your 589 run is more impressive than both of mine since I really believed that around 610 was the bare minimum requirement.
@@lumingaming I've only done it on an unholy dk (608 at the time) and it was a hefty challenge. Now I'm tempted to try it on some other classes for comparison
Immunity from Aegis of Stormwind at 6:15 ?? I am confused by this comment, what did you mean to say? The only thing I can find when I google that is a low level rare shield lol
My main is melee (DH), and the disadvantage compared to ranged (at least for me), is that the egg might get spawned in a bad spot, like next to a portal or right against wall, obscuring your field of vision.
what nameplate addon? it looks super helpful. I think my main problem is my screen is too cluttered with stock ui elements and addon information. Yours is streamlined and free of clutter.

@@moanicadk9729 melee damage is negligible on warlock with the amped curse. The dot is handled better by Priest with Fade but melee damage is more lethal. i think shadow priest has an easier time with webbed adds due to 30 second Torrent cd, but both are really solid. Similar gear/ experience i would say go priest.
Priest seems easier, you can go destro diabolist lock but cooldown for your portal to remove DoT does NOT line with frequency of that spell, you have to port (with immunity to snares) right when he starts to cast the DoT because if you do it after the DoT is on you there might be frontal cast on your teleport spot so you have to wait and that screws up the whole fight....and even if you precast port every time you will often find yourself like 4-5 seconds short on waiting for cooldown
I’m tank and I tried solo (could do the DPS to get the eggs down quickly) then with 5 man pugs (everyone died but me 8 times) and in the end got him down with just me and a mage. Worlds easier. I kept the boss of the mage and they took out the eggs, plus it didn’t scale up as high as with a full group. Honestly don’t want to try again 😅
You need to do every level of delve (I think 11 is highest). Then you complete Zhekvir on ? level (mega easy to solo), which then unlocks him at ?? level. Hope this helps :)
Here is the correct answer: Tier ?: unlocked after completing any Tier 8 delve (any character on account) with revives remaining Tier ??: same as above except Tier 10 as the prerequisite PLUS completion of Tier ? Zekvir You do NOT have to complete a Tier 11 delve to unlock either Zekvir tier.
power word: shield every six seconds, angelic bulwark, blessed portents and 11% verse, a little more after darkmoon deck ramps. If he hits you three times without you stepping on a potion you’re gonna get dumpstered. If three potions are out im stepping on one after every melee attack. You can also keep another 10% damage reduction up with flash heal.

it’s a buff Brann gives you, damage reduction and cc immunity

Nothing better than blasting him on pull only to miss that first heal and see him go to 100% 😂

How you take so little damage from his auto attack melee is beyond me. Way better gear than this video and I get slapped in 3 hits.
