9:10 the handle on the door was moved, that was the anomaly and they missde it, they still ran because they thought a ceilign panel that's always there was new, never change guys
Think what's really impressive about the game is that not once did they get the same anomaly. Even going through it (essentially) twice. I think what killed the first run to reach 8 was that one of the vents on the wall was missing. I only saw one instead of two. (But could be wrong. If you saw something else, lemme know!)
I'll give them the Exit Sign Count Up being an anomaly as a fair mistake, because I think a lot of people do that one early on until they realize it's JUST the long hallway you need to check. I gotta say though, and this is probably just because I already beat Exit 8, but it was driving me CRAZY how little they were looking at the ceiling and floor.
9:29 ok that is the only jumpscare ever to actually scare me enough to make a sound. Jumpscares always just make me jump but this is the only one to make me actually go “WHUH” irl. Kudos to this game

It's too bad Danny was there to be the voice of logic - I was kind of hoping this video would be a half-hour of just Arin turning back every time he saw the number 1, and getting increasingly angry that he wasn't progressing towards the number 8.
Arin: "Okay, so we need to memorize every detail here to recognize if anything could be an anomaly. The words written, the images on the posters, even the dates. Any changes at all." Arin: IMMEDIATELY sprints past literally every single thing that could be an anomaly without looking at them, several times in a row.

"that ceiling panel wasn't there before that's an anomaly"
**me staring furiously at the door knob**
This looks like Dan will not enjoy this 😂
Omg 6min for them to realize the 1 was not an anomaly 😂
i usually dont get urked by them being bad at games but that was....
I genuinely love how frustrating it is to watch them play and miss stuff, it’s funny, and it’s great when they do get it.
My 6 yo niece Penelope, walked in my room one day, when I was watching this episode. She immediately fell in love with the game, and kept asking to watch it with it. Needless to say, we will watch the “something same, something different game” every time she comes over and you guys have gained a new fan. She can’t wait for another episode, she keeps asking for a new one. Whether or not you guys play exit 8 again, I thought you’d get a kick out of that. 💜
Can she sense the soulless nature of Exit 9?
That wall dude running at them scared the crap out of me.
24:15 every time arin references a snapcube dub my day improves so much
9:30 got me good. God dammit. I fucking SCREAMED.
OH GOD IT GOT WORSE. NOPE. NOPE.
me frantically looking through the comments to find one of these so I know when the scares are.
@@zupasha me too
there's something poetic about arin's first instinct being that him progressing is an anomaly
I love that they took the time to look at the doors, didn't notice a doorknob in the MIDDLE of the door, noticed a ceiling panel that was always there, and declared "Oh that's new!" Immediately haha
8:58 if you're curious
cracking up at the boys calling the ceiling panel that belongs there an anomaly while theres a doorknob in the middle of a door
26:18 that's the MOST pain that i've ever felt watching a video. Lol
I started laughing so hard there I had to check the comments mid video
I like seeing the difference in how Dan controls the game and Arin controls it. They're personalities are really reflected in their camera flicks
arin knew about the wall guy from viral exposure and really wanted dan to be scared by it. when dan calls it out basically immediate and says 'welp, gotta go back' arin, disappointed, had no choice but triggering the chase
Everytime they say "I'm not even supposed to be here today", I'm certain it's a Clerks reference, but alas...
"this isn't your everyday train station." "This is advanced train station...."
Arin "run you dumb bastard" 😂
9:10 the handle on the door was moved, that was the anomaly and they missde it, they still ran because they thought a ceilign panel that's always there was new, never change guys
Think what's really impressive about the game is that not once did they get the same anomaly. Even going through it (essentially) twice. I think what killed the first run to reach 8 was that one of the vents on the wall was missing. I only saw one instead of two. (But could be wrong. If you saw something else, lemme know!)
That whole speech about the pictures slightly changing, while they literally were growing was good timing 😄
18:25 the anomoly was a missing airvent.
The excitement at the end was contagious. I'm glad yall played this
Like how Wall Man. when he catches you, is just straight up FNAFfing at you, because that is a thing for now and forevermore.
Oh thank god they finally played it
"P.T" meets "I'm On Observation Duty". Ohhhh boy...
I look forward to 1PM every day cause that's when they upload for me!
I feel lucky that it's 11am for me
I'll meet you both in the middle. Mines at high noooon
To me it's 9 pm(
7pm over here
1 am for me here, lol
"Cause Daddy got curious" - Dan
I couldn't contain my laughter!!!
"oh that ceiling panel, i think that's new!"
-the door with a handle in the middle of it; ....
The fact they havent figured out the whole exit number thing until like 6 minutes in is hilarious lol
I'm at 515... thank you for this :)
a video with 30:00 minutes exactly. This made my heart happy
Leave it to Arin to immediately make his own outlandish theory on a game mechanic instead of reading how the "0" and "1" thing works written RIGHT under the sign!
Especially since the goal is to get to 8... so like, 0 to 1 is partway there and...
9:46 "You dumb bastard" gets me everytime😂
People complaining about Arin being confused for like 5 minutes tops about the level progression would not survive the Ethan Nestor Exit 8 playthrough
This is the first play through of this where I actually saw the player die, didn’t even think that was possible.
12:49 Sonic 06 fandub strikes again!
Dan and his huge thumbs having hands having trouble with the controller gives me life. It’s like watching my dad use his iPhone. It’s so funny.
Any changes at all."
Arin: IMMEDIATELY sprints past literally every single thing that could be an anomaly without looking at them, several times in a row.
"I got lost in a train station one time when I was very young, and so I made this game to capture that feeling of confusion and fear. Thank you for your consideration."
- this dev, probably
I'm actually surprised about how well they did, good job!
"Congrats to everyone Who is early and who found this comment.. 🐼
Thank you so much, I’d like to thank the academy
Wowiee
Yippee 🎉
Shut
👏
Oh, this has GOT to be good. Pausing, getting the popcorn and the soft drink. Be right back to watch it.
EDIT: Arin interpreting progress as 'an anomaly'. Oh God, I knew this'd be great. I mean... is he wrong, given the circumstances? :P
A big one that will get you in this game is you are timed. If the guy makes it to where he stops and looks at his phone, you reset to 0 even if you were right about the hallway.
I'm almost 99% sure that is not true.
08:55 - They notice a random ceiling vent, but not the doorknob DEAD CENTER on the door. XD
