- Alone in the woods - solo overnight in a canvas tent.
Wild camping alone in the woods with the Hungarian Army Lavvu on a crisp, clear fireworks night. With a heavy pack we had to sacrifice something heavy, something bulky - water. So instead we utilised a Milbank Bag to filter water from the stream and boiled it for purification allowing us to warm up with a coffee cooked in the Stanley Cookset on the Lixada Wood Stove. Our sleep system comprised of the Adventuridge Self-Inflating Roll Mat, British Army Arctic Sleeping Bag & British Army DPM Bivvi Bag. Enjoy the sounds of nature around camp and relax.

Great video. Love the tent type thing and the water filter bag.
That’s like it has to be! 👍
Really relaxing watch this. Great vid.
Thank you Chris, glad you enjoyed it 👍
I enjoyed both your vids on the Hungarian shelter. It is quite slot smaller than the Polish version. I am 5' 10" and the Hungarian is a bit of a squeeze, but it just works for me and as illustrated in your vid. Something about canvas that really appeals. Would be interested in checking out any modifications u made in the future. Thanks for your efforts. 👍
Another great video my friend. Love the Hungarian lavvu. I've got the Polish version. I love mine.
Thank you Dan! Much appreciated my friend! I’m looking out for a Polish one, seem to be getting harder to find and more expensive, but definitely worth it!
@@TreeDeepOutdoors I have a size 1 I'm trying to sell at the moment. Let me know if you're interested mate 👍
Another lovely relaxing video,Jake was all brave this year and watched the fireworks from his bedroom window. He usually runs a mile from all the noise .
We are lucky enough to be able to see the local show .
Thanks for sharing 🙃

Thank you brother! Very much appreciated as always, hope you’re doing well sir!
@@TreeDeepOutdoors yes Jack finished my last shift for the week today, so I'll be cranking a vid or two out myself this week.happy days..

Thanks for your comment Eric! I know the feeling my friend, I’ve only just got over a cold, it must’ve lasted a month, I just couldn’t shake it! So I hope you feel better soon sir! Thanks again 👍

I like your Lavvu. Its slightly the same as Polish Lavvu. It comes with 2parts poncho? Or it's just one long part? Greeting from Lithuania ✌
Thank you sir! It comes with 2 ponchos. I’m hoping to get my hands on the polish Lavvu at some point, the larger sizes seem to be getting harder to find + more expensive but we’ll keep looking! Thanks again my friend, hope you and yours are all well in Lithuania 👊
I've just bought an Army Arctic sleeping bag ( synthetic ) it's really big and heavy, but it will be great for camping in the snow. Did you have any issues with it, or was it super cosy
Hey buddy! I’ve never had any issues with the Arctic Sleeping Bag. It sure is heavy and bulky but you’ll definitely appreciate the bulk and weight once you bed down, super warm! 👍
If you don't mind my asking, how tall are you? I'm considering either the Polish size 2 or Hungarian one and heard that the latter is smaller. That thing looks pretty big with you in it though. I'm 5'9" for reference.
Hey Maria, I don’t mind you asking at all! I am 5’10”, the Hungarian Lavvu is on the smaller side, I almost exclusively use it without a centre pole to maximise the space inside and ultimately I’ll sleep diagonally without any issues. Thanks for your comment Maria, hope you’re well 👍
@@TreeDeepOutdoors thanks, and stay well!
え!え?米をガレットで包んで食べたの?
