    I’m seriously inspired by Cory, I think he’s a future champion 100%, I’m going to buy that book, and what he said about being your greatest self in relationships really resonates with me because it’s something that I’ve messed up myself. God bless Sandhagen 🙏

    Seems like Chito's gameplans lately have been to let guys tee off on him until they tire but Sandhagen never even looked winded in there! Props to coach Parillo trying to encourage Marlon in-between rounds but nothing could have stopped Corey last Saturday. Already seeing excuses like Chito beat himself. Why can't a guy just be better for once?

      Chito had bad plan, I like how everyone is not supporting him anymore and saying that there's levels, Chito can always readjust and comeback stronger.

      @@MMA_CAT Chitos one of the fighters that doesn’t have a plan and tries too game plan in the fight, he’s naturally a slow starter and likes too read people. Which against Cory he needed to FIGHT FIGHT aka turn it into a fast paced kick boxing match. But someone as smart as Cory who’s mixing in takedowns, flying knees, and great kicks keeps you thinking and slow to engage. Did I mention the best foot work in the division?

      @@MMA_CAT maybe because people are trying to take away that Cory is simply better in all aspects. Yes Chito can improve, but he was a deer in the headlights, currently lost in his game plan.

    Well thought, well spoken, well fought, and always entertaining. I think this fight was the culmination of Cory harnessing everything he’s been feeling since the flying knee on Edgar. With TJ, we saw the violence, but he wasn’t quite as in touch. A lot of high risk high reward when i don’t believe it was necessary for him to be in a winning situation. Against Yan, I think we saw a vast improvement on that, but unfortunately it was a very short notice fight and even if he won’t make that excuse for himself, it’s understandable. With Yadong everything started coming together and his performance against chito was near flawless. Always tough waiting to see more from this guy

    I love Chito and I was rooting for him. But i was disappointed was he looking for the one big punch? Any who Corey looked great. The upper cut combos were on point as well as the kicks at the end of a flurry. Credit where credit is due well done Corey. He called it it was one sided.

    Can tell Corey deals with some heavy depression. It is truly inspirational to see someone overcome those demons and become a true artist in his craft. Genuine dude, incredible martial artist.

    What a performance. I'm not sure he should've called out Merab.... I think O'Malley is the better fight, and more winnable. But he's got some balls though, NOBODY probably wants to fight Merab right now. Lol.

    I love how the greatest killers of the UFC all sound like Choir Boys and Straight Edge people... Cory Sanhagen Jon Jones Dominick Cruz, Anderson Silva, Shogun... And many other soft spoken killers. Alot in MMA.

    Ariel is great interviewer, he doesn't just fire away questions he is a great listener and relaxes the interviewee to speak freely. This is a very good interview. I always liked those Mike Perry ones he did a couple of years ago too, for example. Anyway, glad that Cory is feeling good and speaking hi smind

    Seems like a cool, humble guy.. and a fun fighter to watch! Kinda like how Frankie Edgar seems like a good guy, however his [wrestling] fighting style doesn't make me tune in.
    Regarding the 3m12s mark on possibly Carl Jung and how what you do is not important.. when did he recommend Ram Dass' Be Here Now (8m30s)?

    Only defense the ufc has about the commission and things like that is the sport is so dam young compared to other major sports that are dam need a century old. MMA and especially the ufc is around 30 years old and they’re growing so much quick then they probably ever expected. In 60-70 years I can imagine how much these fighters will be making and how fine tuned this sport and promotion will be

    I'd Cory and Merab fight next and Cory wins, I think he deserves a title shot. We'll have to wait and see but if he continues to fight the way he did against Vera, he could definitely win the belt.
